That goes the other way too - Liberty wouldn't stomp on Core either - there'd be deals from Day1. Lib Gov never reached out, and ignored Core OF attempts to talk about Nu.

(except for when they don't)
Almost entire active Core player base does, so does active Liberty player base
just look at video in the OP - both sides are saying "I own system, me good you bad". Gentle reminder that at the beginning all fights started over Liberty willing to engage in huge fleet battles over a 100,000 minimum fine -,-

Such as yourself or anyone else?
In canon, IC owns a massive sharehold in the Core, and has a large sway in the Liberty Government. Of course none of this wouldn't happen. It doesn't make sense. Not only would they lose their funding from IC, they would also have a massive overeach of influence which will destabilize the Core's military efforts. Also losing your business partners isn't good for your income. If Liberty goes, so will Bretonia, because they saw the Outcast friendship. And soon, the only House they would be able to trade with would be Rheinland...
... Then again, word also has it that Rheinland wasn't too happy about the Core lately, especially regarding the civil war, for some reason.
You would lose your backing. Your business partners, and your power, and you would have too many enemies. The Core Modus Operandi isn't exactly stealthy either.
No Saronsen, again you are getting it backwards - IC has sway over Liberty Government - they would obviously protect their profits and force Lib Gov to negotiate with core is other side of the coin.
Because you want Liberty to be a one sided no questions asked empire doesn't mean it's sensible :]
And Core player base wants the same thing, doesn't mean it's sensible or realistic either :]
