Good day,
I am not sure if you remember our group - the Maquis - as it has undergone radical changes (no pun intended) in last years. We have found some old records that showed close cooperation between one Commodore Redmont and our predecessors, and you might have noticed us fighting against the Gallic Navy in your vicinity in your incursions to Orkney a few months back.
Anyways, I am Boucher, a humble man of the Front and I would be interested in (discreetly of course for both our sakes) building on past ties and would appreciate if you could assign someone to be our contact, whether the Commodore is still with you or someone else.
Currently this will be regarding Lorraine, and a need for a temporary lift of the embargo you have imposed on Gallia as a whole for specific haulers - I will explain all if one of you comes forward to hear me out.

Lionel,
This transmission comes as a surprise - yet an expected one given the recent events in Bretonia and the neighboring Tau systems.
With that made clear, I shall clarify now the questions you've put forth. The Bretonia Armed Forces are no longer in a position to conduct large scale offensive operations beyond the reaches of the Edinburgh, Leeds, T-31 and other Bretonian systems. We have set this embargo upon the Gallic Union in hope that corporations and independent freelancers alike will cease all trading operations within the territory of the Union.
Furthermore, I would also like to make it clear that the embargo will not be lifted under any circumstances. Any and all ships travelling to and from Gallia will be turned around - either by us or other signatory parties.
Lastly, if you are indeed in such desperate times and seek funding, or even military support, the best decision is to contact the Intelligence Service of Bretonia.
I hope makes it clear what our stance is. If there are other questions you have, direct them here.

Good day,
Noted - I was under the impression that the embargo was setup to weaken the Union and punish their leaders for their warcrimes and make their position harder. Perhaps I missunderstood and unlike then Commodore Redmont you are not interested in hearing how you can make great strides towards both goals at no cost or risk to the Armed Forces.
We will be contacting the Intelligence Service of Bretonia as you advised.

Maquisard,
Do not push your luck. While the Armed Forces had certainly cooperated with Maquis units in the time of most need, we do not require assistance from outside forces to uphold our duty any longer.
The war with Gallia is over and the Monarchy defeated, in case you have not been yet notified. The embargo set by us, Kusari and Crayter is aimed against the trade conducted by Gallia instead of their weakened units, the latter of which should be easy prey for your movement.
Your support will, of course, be accepted in the Tau region against the previously-mentioned shipping, however as said before, we do not seek a direct conflict with Gallia to prevent another costly war.

Good day,
Like I said - if you are not interested in even hearing how you can achieve massive gains in undermining the Union and their unity, economical and trade capabilities at no risk to yourselves that is your call.
If you do change your mind and will think three minutes of your time are worth millions of lives saved down the line then all you have to do is ask and I can explain. Is that fair enough?

Boucher,
Then you are free to elaborate on what you wish to say. I can guarantee that at the very least, they will be kept in case of need.
The matters I have mentioned are nothing more than clarification for the actions of the past and mention the current stance we have on both your movement and Gallia. Times changes, and so must we, if we want to remove any and all dangers to the people of Bretonia and Gallia alike.

Good!
Right - so I can tell you the Union is trying to push a xenophobic racist agenda, trying to paint Bretonians as warmongering devils internally that care little for Gallic lives.
That gets me to my point. The system of Lorraine. It is on the verge of famine and there have been strong calls for independence already. We have contacts planet-wide on planet Metz capable of distributing supplies to the people directly. These supplies bypass the Union distribution networks, and have been a great way to undermine their authority, turn their people against them and show them that Sirius has issues with the leaders, not the common lower classes that never were part of Charles' war machine. Part of the reason is that the supplies have been laced with pro-Sirian including pro-Bretonian propaganda.
Their people starving, the Union focusing on re-arming their arsenal instead of restoring the system, this is the time to push Lorraine towards autonomy or even secede from the Union. Now I don't think I have to tell you the strategic gains of a Gallic Borderworld being free of the grip of the Union. a buffer would be created, Sirian influence could be increased on Gallic territory without a fight and the Union itself would be suffer a massive PR loss.
Now - why am I telling you all this, and why should you care? We don't want your forces to get involved, and you are no haulers. Well, come November Lorraine will be given the chance to gain independence. Part of it will be a massive pro-Sirian campaign, and for that we require haulers that are willing to go against the Union, to undermine their Xenophobic doctrine and soften the people towards the idea that Lorraine is better off going it alone while we will give the chance for the people to rise up with our forces. Contracts will be made as they have been in the past, and the companies will be hauling to Gallia, but they will be hauling against the Union interests while the fireworks start and people get the chance to rise up.
All you need to do to put pressure on the Union, undermine it for years to come, make your position much stronger and in the long run save millions of lives, while not firing a single shot or commiting a single asset is to turn a blind eye on Sirian companies for several days in November that will be hauling the anti-Union pro-Sirian propaganda laced food supplies to Lorraine while we make space for them and cause turmoil in the system.

Excellent!
I thank you for your goodwill and an open mind.
All we are asking for is that your own Bretonian compatriots will not be shot down in a span of several days as they act in a humanitarian cause that will undermine the xenophobic Union doctrine for years to come, whether our attempts at causing the Lorraine uprising will be successful or not in November.
I understand you might not have full trust in us given our, in my eyes necessary and fully justified, methods, but your own Bretonian Hauling Company, Harlan Freight, has already ran what we plan on doing again in November, just on a smaller scale. If there are any doubts about the situation on Metz or our credibility I suggest you contact Harlan directly.
