Over the past many months the Maquisard Front de Libération de Gallia has been trying to abuse the devastation of Lorraine and famine on planet Metz left behind by the Kusarian invasion to fuel discontent in the system. The Front propaganda has been making hard to believe claims that the Maquisards stand behind the people of Metz, want to liberate them and even help them gain independence. They have even uncharacteristically called on and paid for massess of Sirian haulers to deliver food supplies to the starving planet Metz, making space for them with their combat units while at the same time instigating and even setting up anonymous bounty boards for Sirian unlawful groups to create chaos in the system.
In a long openly telegraphed operation they dubbed the the "Lorraine Uprising" all hell breaks loose. Gallic haulers compete with Maquis' instigated Sirians to feed the people of Lorraine to get them to their side. Fights between the Union forces, Maquisards and their allies errupt. The Outcasts that have been trying to punch through to Lorraine ever since the minefield path was cleared attempt to take advantage of the situation, add to the chaotic mess and are quickly met by Corsican opposition who fight for their domination over the Gallic drug markets.

Trade bonus on Food Rations and Sirian Food Supplies on listed routes are open to all IDs.
On November 7 19:00 UTC there will be a respawn event as the finale.
NOTES
Exceptional performances will be recognized and individual players will receive additional rewards provided by FLG.
This faction-submitted event is to spur activity in the region and is not intended to have any broader canon implication on involved factions.

Just as it looked like there may be a lasting impact on Lorraine with the masses of propaganda-riddled supplies from Sirius stacking up around the landing pads on Metz, chaos and fights broke out throughout the system and the Union forces that kept pouring in from Burgundy soon overwhelmed the various attackers, making space for Gallic food haulers and closing the path for the Sirian suppliers. With the abrupt retreat of the Liberation Front from the system, Lorraine once again fell under firm control of Gallic Union.
Even though Maquis efforts was not a success, Gallic people now know that Sirius does indeed care about the suffering of the common people of Gallia as the amount of supplies delivered to them has shown, and as a result, and Metz famine has been averted for months to come.
