otherwise the way you used it in the OP is fine, he's just groshyring
I will admit that my spoiler'd comm templates serve no 'objectively good' purpose. I think it's one of my best BBCodes so far and I really enjoy the way it looks so I'll be keeping it till I'm bored of it, but I do understand negative feedback coming towards that.
Uhmen's role as the Akhetaten's CO and Burns' role as her XO have been restored. Silva has been retconned back to the rank of Lieutenant Commander to match her age and position as a chief comms officer.
Post updated to include the hopefully upcoming model of the ship located here. "Character relations" section has been temporarily removed and is to probably return in the future, updated.
Feedback related to the 3d model is welcome.
Should also mention two unfinished parts about the 3d model.
The Specifications section is for me by far the most fun to read in this, as you made it pretty catching for the eye displaying the whole project like an actual warship project you could see on blueprints or wiki sites. Gives a pretty authentic overlook. The organization and arrangement of text plus all the nicely made graphics plus thought into every little gimmick and compartment of the ship.
Also pretty astonishing to see the whole listed bunch of role play I will prolly never be able to read as holy heck what a fuckton.
All in all one can see you researched a lot about naval warships data and keywords and implemented them in an organized way for the all around project, hence Im hyped for the one day to see the fruits of your work in space. This is definitely some outstanding piece of forum work,
I too wish to congratulate this work. It is perfectly written, has a good background that makes sense, and is fun to read about.
What I also do wish to slightly criticize, though, is that the in-game behavior should be, even if not much by, changed. Naturally, battleships don't just sit out in grids and roleplay with [insert random civilian passing by]. But other than that, again, excellent work on it.
I'll be honest I didn't expect this to get as much attention as it did. I am glad that all of the feedback regarding the specs section is positive and I am overly glad for the words I read in your post @Solo Wing Sagume as it was one of the kindest posts I've read.
Regarding ingame behavior and ingame roleplay, do remember that if we RPd military ships the way they should be then military players wouldn't really be getting much interaction at all. There is obviously no realistic universe where the captain of a battleship sits on the radio to chat about the weather with a passing-by fisherman on his boat, I am sure everyone acknowledges this. Comms officers and what not exist, yes, but can you really criticize people for RPing as the captain instead of the comms officer? Sounds a bit far fetched to me, we all just need to realize that some realism sacrifices need to be made in order to roleplay appropriately.
Next thing you know people stop roleplaying with hostiles because realistically you would just try to kill your enemy faster than they can kill you xD
In any case, thank you too @"DariusCiprian" for your feedback. All of it is welcomed and much appreciated.
