Alright gonna try an' keep this one short. I'd just like ta say, sincere thanks ta everyone who helped defend against the Outcasts earlier. These scum are at the end of the day no different than Liberty, The Core, or any other bully. They think they'll seem strong picking on us. They think they can win. But so long as even one of us has the fire in our heart, the will ta make a better tomorrow it doesn't matter. Stand strong, stand together, and we will make it through this.

The news has prolly spread by now, but I'm gonna make an announcement about it anyway.
Last night the Outcasts decided to start picking on us. They came to our base, told us we were in their territory--which we've been hearing an awful lot of lately--and massed in force outside. They picked a fight with an Order agent, then when that was over, they attacked a freelancer that was standing guard with us outside the station.
The resulting engagement...well. I ain't gonna lie to y'all, it didn't go well. To our eight or so defenders, they had four fighters and a gunboat. We took down the gunboat, but their pilots were trained, and they picked us off one by one. A lot of us ended up in medical, myself included. It was a defeat--a solid one.
I've been thinking about this all night lying in the med bay, and I'm here to tell you now, this is the time where we gotta buckle down and work even harder. It's demoralizing, I know--trust me, I know. But this is the fight we gotta give if we wanna survive. Even in defeat, we're sending them a message: we ain't gonna put up with their sh*t. We ain't gonna let them shoot us lying down. We'll stand tall, and with our arms locked together, and we'll fight to our dying breaths to defend this new home of ours.
A lot of you came from places where y'had to deal with oppression, where y'couldn't live the free lives y'all deserved. Where they'd take everything from you, and make you thank them for it. Well, now we have our place. We have our haven where we can live right, and rest easy knowing our friends have our backs. A place where we won't let you go hungry, where we won't charge you for your water, where we won't let your air filters crap out on you, where we'll put our lives on the line to defend you and yours. You came out here 'cuz you believed in a dream, and dammit, we're gonna make that dream a reality, no matter what it takes, no matter who throws punches at us!
I'm gonna take our volunteers out for training. Anyone who's interested, reply to me however you can, and we'll sort it out. We'll do group exercises, we'll do asymmetric engagements, we'll put you through the paces and make sure y'all are prepared for next time. 'cuz there will be a next time. And when it comes, we're gonna make sure we're ready.
Fight back against fascists and oppressors. Fly the red and black. No nations, no borders. No gods, no masters. Solidarity forever!

So you've had your first run-in with the Taus' orange pest. Don't kick yourself for losing to them even with a numbers advantage. All that cardamine coursing through their bodies makes them amazing pilots. So, if they start causing trouble, prepare to either get your asses handed to you more often than not, or form a big enough militia to overwhelm them with sheer numbers. Of course, you don't want to piss them off too badly. If they decide that Andorra is causing too much trouble, they have the means to easily wipe it right back off the map.
That said, I'll gladly lend a hand against them whenever I'm in the region. Fuel and food will suffice as compensation.

Folks, it's been pretty quiet the last few days, and I'm sure we're all happy for that. I've been taking the time to recover from my injuries from that fight with the Outcasts. While I've been in and around, I've been talking to the engineers we got on board. It sounds like we're ready to begin the second stage of expansion that'll allow us to make the station more durable and bring more systems online.
In order to do this, we're gonna need a heck of a lot of various resources to get it online. More than I think we realistically have the ability to get by ourselves, given our lack of stupid money-shaped sh*t. Donations from sympathetic parties are always appreciated, no euphemisms intended this time, but I've got some other plans which might work out for us if y'all are interested.
Our relations with the Maquis have panned out real well, and this means they're are willing to take us on for their bounty hunting boards. This is gonna be important for us--it's a form of income that also helps us keep the area around us safe. I know we don't wanna get too into mercenary business, 'cuz that's ugly and it'll come back to bite us if we ain't careful, but being able to collect when we defend the area will still go a long way towards us being able to buy outside resources. We can't rely on charity forever without it. If y'wanna collect, y'need to make sure your ship's displaying the IFF code ND)- and make sure your computer's got the Outcasts and Royalists as red, otherwise the bounty board won't recognize you.
This doesn't mean we're gonna change how we conduct business on station, of course. As soon as it passes the airlock doors, 's gonna be communal resources. If y'have projects other than the station upgrade then y'can talk to people and see what we can do, but getting our systems online is top priority.
While I'm at it, it looks like the orbit that we chose is a bit too low for the long term, as we've been catching the upper atmosphere and it's causing us to dip even lower. We're gonna do a maintenance burn tonight to boost our orbit higher, so y'all should prepare for that. Ops will do an announcement when it's time.
Apart from all that, y'all are doing great. We've had good work around, and most of us are sleeping in real beds now instead of on mattresses. Andorra's getting more comfortable by the day and we're gonna keep it going forward. I'm proud of all you, keep it up.
Militia forces are gonna start meeting on Saturdays for training sessions. We had some small skirmishes lately and while we're doing pretty well, we've got a lot of rookies and even I'm a bit rusty. So if y'wanna learn how to fly better, swing on by for some simming on Saturdays and we'll get you sorted right out.
That's all I've got for right now. Anyone have any thoughts, questions, concerns, y'know this channel is always open, even to visitors. Let us know--I'm always paying attention to this feed. Work towards a new dawn.

Signs of life
Hey, Sable here.
Haven't heard from Andorra in a while. Is anyone still living on that heap of junk or did everyone remember how much cozier life in the houses actually is?
