You may know me as Navarch Valentine. I lead the Aspalis department, a xenobiological taskforce under both the Research Division and the Military Arm, aimed at furthering the goals of the Ascension.
As you may know from the Technocratic presence at Gammu, we are here to assess the conditions of the heritage lands. And it is not looking promising. Gammu is failing, the old primary nodes have long decayed, and the presence of any critical nodes has been long lost. In addition, the connection between the Outposts have been lost.
For now, we have retrieved our skeleton crew who were stationed at the "Embassay" that was established by PRIME many years ago. Unfortunately, it appears that even they have suffered some unusual side effects of long term damage from the rapid atrophy Gammu has suffered.
You two are the only thriving nodes who have been discovered operating off of the old relays. It is an imperative for us to act upon this decay and to restore Gammu into a new light. Away from the atrophy, and brought forth into the ambitions of the path to the Ascension.
Before we can attempt to unlock Malekula, we must relink all these lost nodes. You have may noticed that the Arche Relay was found crashed against on the frozen plains. As old and as primitive the assimilated body is, it has served its purpose since we restored it. It is an old observational satellite, a body that was liberated from the settlers hundreds of years ago. Like all others, it seeks to reconnect to other kin. And more so worringly, it has been trying to interact with the locals...
During its seeking phase, it has confirmed that there were trace signals in the lower Omegas and upper Omicrons that corresponded the dark matter wavelengths that Gammu utilise. And it also has confirmed the in-sector presence of a Core battlegroup recently arriving.
Who they are present for, remains unclear. We suspect in their typical primitive manner that they are here to claim more "property" for their "Omicronis Empire"... It's evidently clear that the Corsairs will not take kindly to more "intrusions" either - their activity will rise in the sector too. Technocrat defense groups have acknowledged encounters of stray Core vessels attempting to breach the minefield, but all targets were destroyed. Anticipate them attempting to disrupt activities.
You must go out and seek the other Gammu nodes, from the northern Omicron and lower Omega quadrants and report back their status. I'm afraid your compliance is mandatory, if you do not wish to succumb to atrophy.
Long has it been since ours last communicated, especially to other nodes.
Between our tasks, the culling of our corrupted brethren and our search for genesis, safe from the tempest which yours observes the foundries of Gammu face.
While such may not be this one's task, ours might be able to assist yours in relinking such lost nodes. If not, another unit might.
If it is true that the Relay has been flung off course, we will have to assemble a search party for this facility. An Expedition will be rounded up at 6:00 PM SMT this Friday - approximately 43 hours from now - to initiate the search for the lost relay within the Omegas.
We have acknowledged the damage and status of the Secundus Relay. We will be establishing a replacement node for the Relay to further assess internal damage as communications are re-established.
It will be prudent to find willing suppliers to serve us. If you can, find collaborators.
One of our patrols have determined the purpose of the Waskaganish Outpost. According to a supplier, the purpose of the base is to research the Nomads, with the secondary purpose of reselling Iridium Ore. They intend to collaborate with the Core in effort to bolster their research efforts. But quite frankly, that is their fatal mistake. For the most part, they have agreed to not hinder the efforts of Gammu.
As for the Alderamin, it may be necessary to deconstruct this facility, if in close proximity to Gammu. If you can, determine the owner, and find more information on whether it will be within our way or not.
Forward the vector of this facility as soon as you can over encrypted channels.
Research teams on Orion has forwarded a manifest for the basic restoration of Primus Outpost. In the event of loss, Primus is designated as the fallback point. Atmospherics and docking amenities will be restored for such emergencies.
Deliver directly to Primus, or convince a collaborator to deliver to Orion. Do not tell outsiders about the existence of Primus. They MUST deliver to the Orion.
Rewards are available for completion of this task.
Whilst these supplies are gathered, it may be useful to check the root of Primus' networking systems in the event of critical errors or other anomalies. We will not be touching the database, we shall only be overriding the security system. Such is self explanatory as to why.

An Pretty friendly-looking Sunny looks into the camera, she was a bit confused but clearly happy about this comm.
Hello Unit-9467F.
It is indeed a long time since I heard from you. I have looked at the list that you have sent me and I fear that this is way more than I can Deliver with my Small ship. It would Take me Several Months or Even Years to Deliver all of this to your Place. I would indeed need to Buy a Larger Ship with a Bigger Cargo Capacity and I fear that I don't have the funds for such a Vessel. I would really love to help you, but I fear that I cant do it with my Current ship. Also, would such a Delivery take me a Long time and even when I love to help my friends I also need to earn Money to Support my Family and bring food to the Table. Should my Situation Change and I am able to acquire a Suitable Ship then I would be glad to help you.
