Since 110 mil is without armor, I can outfit 22 fighters against one cruiser, or 6-7 bombers, or 4 gunboats.

Guess who wins?

With armor, that's 950 mil for a cruiser, about 2 gunboats for that, and more bombers or fighters than I can count. Again, the smaller stuff wins. By a long shot.

The fighters probably wouldn't even lose their shields in either case.

Bigger dies to proportional smaller as soon as you get to ship classes maximum gun classes, i.e. elite LFs on up.

In the size of one cruiser I can fit those 22 fighters, actually, so for the same resource cost you would get about 8x the fire output and about 200x the survivability. By your logic, the Harvesters should all fly the hideously efficient LFs and bombers.

Well, if you actually -felt- the cost of a destroyed cruiser that'd be one thing.

Again poped fighters cost resources and while a criuser can get poped easier when prepared against its pretty safe from lone ships.

Anyway, 800+ million for a criuser!?!?! not any of ours. Tops plus 240 mill to cost.

And you may be talking of PVPs, I include NPCs as just as important as player enemies and while NPCs can kill our fighters I have VERY seldom seen NPCs kill our caps.

Players are refered to as elites while NPCs are the run of the mill "Joe six packs."

So lets not turn this into a Harvester bash thread like I said Scype me.

Would it really hurt if we had a ship to call our own? We like CAPS. Whats wrong with playing with what you like, if the RP is there for it.

I know caps make more money I have to infuse fighters with cash all the time from caps not the other way around.

If you want to bash use the search feature we have three feedback threads, this is not the place.

Gah fellas, if you want to debate Harvester cap usage again, make a different thread. This one is for a possible Harvester ship submission. And I still say make it a new addition. Either that or go with Dusty's suggestion, the Huntress could use a replacement.

We have the Kith SomTaaw line of fighter which is nice, and it also got reskined by Jinx look up the Kith Som Taaw SHF.

I also doubt we'd get two ships so we are going for the ship most likely to see the most action

not really prepared to make a fighter for that one - and the kith somtaav concept i made doesn t go well with this ( its more a "raw" form of what the zoner juggernaut ( being an alien ship ) become to be - for those that spot the similarities )

- i could prolly turn one of the homeworld ships into a figther featuring ideas of this warship - maybe the kith somtaav freighter ( no one is using that at all ) - but that d make for a bad fighter.

for now - i ll adjust this model to the huntress class - which would require to move the huntress away from corsair hands / juristication. - mind there are quite some people flying the huntress - if this model was switched, we d have some trouble with it.
