I wish to thank the government for recognition of my claims, and we recognize Bretonian authority in this matter as clearly overruling Zoner Freeport jurisdiction. We confirm we have reached an agreement to secure these bases and operate them in accordance with Bretonian Law, offering full cooperation with Bretonian law enforcment and military forces. Our repair and refit operations of Omega Station and Omega Palace remains underway.

Congratulations, Mr. Hudson,

Granted, they could anyway but in getting them to recognize your claims, they have offered what they call "security." As it is, things have been peaceful around Freeport 1 and its no fire zone and their increased presence will no doubt disrupt that......and they will blame Zoners for it. Their increased presence will attract a bigger Corsair presence.

The Zoner community has a rallying cry, "Remember Canaria." Bretonia did much the same thing there. Mr. Hudson, I will work with you but I will NOT work with the Crown.

This feels like a prelude... The man snorts and shakes his head. Trampling on your own treaties again, Bretonia? I can't say I'm hardly surprised. Your hunger for controlling things that don't belong to you seems to be a recurring issue. Allow me to explain, based on your "Collective Security Agreement": Terms of the Policies: The No-Fire Zone is an area in which no offensive actions are allowed. (This includes attempts at piracy/taxation, the use of weapons (guns, missiles, mines), intentional ramming, or provocative behaviour such as threats, taunting or masked insults.) Loitering inside a NFZ is not allowed. (Non-Zoner vessels are expected to use the Freeports facilities and then move on, or to stay docked when waiting for others.) Trade vessels fleeing into a NFZ must dock. (Trade vessels are either freighter or tranport class craft.) All other vessels are not allowed to flee into a NFZ. Violating a No-Fire Zone can lead to immediate prosecution and engagement, by Zoners or another pilot assisitng Zoners. In case of any possible dangers, the authority of Bretonian Armed Forces overrun the No Fire Zone regulations if no member of local authority is present. If the force was implemented by Bretonian Armed Forces in No Fire Zone, they undertake to provide the proof of legality of their actions in 48 hours. Article 5. Kingdom of Bretonia recognises the need for a militia force at Freeport 1 and allows local militia forces to use fighters, bombers and gunboats without needing to inform Bretonia about the number and callsigns of those vessels. In no small terms, you agree that the NFZ (No Fire Zone) is around each Freeport. You additionally say, on section 4 of this part of your Security Agreement, that firing in an NFZ may lead to "prosecution and engagement, by Zoners or another pilot assisting Zoners." lending creedance to the fact that Zoners do hold sway over the areas around their station. Strike one. Article 7. Zoners of Freeport 1 request allowance to open an embassy on Planet New London and be allowed to give their opinions on decisions regarding Omega-3. Did you request OSI feedback on this before jumping forward? No, I'm assuming not because Bretonia never considers the opinions of others, especially Zoners. Strike two. Article 8. The Zoners of Freeport 1 hold the right to request the Bretonian Government to mediate and settle disputes between the Zoners and other lawful organizations within Bretonia’s zone of influence. Lastly, from this communication, OSI never reached out to you to request that mediation be done. As it stands, Nathanial, it seems you and your government have once again stepped over the line. Seems you just can't help yourself. Commander,

Due to OSI's unresponsiveness, the Kingdom of Bretonia and Tau Enterprises are jointly taking lead of administering the abandoned bases located in the vicinity of Freeport 1. Whilst we offer no comment to prior communications due to the attitude shown by other Zoners, we assure all representatives that the move done by the Kingdom is a benevolent act meant to assist the endangered lives left upon the abandoned installations. We strongly believe that, should we not have stepped in, thousands of lives would have been most certainly lost to the elements of space.

In regards to security concerns, there are no changes. We will continue to uphold the treaty and its defence stipulations due to its importance in safeguarding Zoner interests in the region. We are very concerned about the recent acts committed by the Coalition and Red Hessians further in Rheinland and we do not wish to see a repeat of the antecedent years.

We thank you for the cooperation in clarifying the present situation.

As you have both replied to this public message and obviously seem to be firm friends let me address you simultaneously yet also directly. Please allow me to forgo any pleasantries and formal introductions as you very well know who I am.

Let me first address Mr Hudson.

Dear sir, while I am thankful of your efforts to step in and supply the said installations, thereby preventing further degradation and possible harm to those in the vincinity, your public claiim of ownership cannot be processed by me. Please also understand that while supplying these bases is admirable, it does not directly entitle you to the right of ownership. While the station Omega Palace and Omega Station are, technically, derelict. Legally however, these stations are still owned by their respective Zoner owners. Ones who we are still trying to contact. Thus, your claim of ownership has to be submitted elsewhere and I suggest you state your claim by contacting OSI directly as they may help you in this process.

After reading your first message regarding, and I quote: "The Kingdom of Bretonia highly condemns the move to unlawfully board and capture the stations in the name of Tau Enterprises" I was very surprised to see you making a complete turnaround when you totally disregarded you very own words: "In addition, we wish to inform the administration that the Kingdom of Bretonia holds sole authority over the system and its installations. We do not recognize the authority of the Freeport 1 administrators over the nearby installations, and we further advise it to follow our judgement on the matter.".

Now having checked the Bretonia base registration I find no mention of the stations Omega Palace and Omega Station nor do I see any rightful claim of the crown to these sovereign stations owned by Zoners built in a No-Fire-Zone which we actively enforce to all those within it.

Moving on to address your statement of "not recognizing the authority of the Freeport 1 administrators over the nearby installations" to which I can only reply that you are in possible violation of your own laws, mainly "4.1: Assault, Piracy or Kidnapping". As the forementioned stations are the sole property of Zoners and are still providing services (even in absence of their owners) the taking of ownership or reclaiming which, according to your own database, does not fall under your jurisdiction, therefore is by itself an illegal act.

Now gentlemen, As you have publicly mentioned to discuss this matter amongst you two in private I can not, in good sense, believe this is a legal and rightful act and actually think more nefarious schemes are in play. I will give Mr Hudson the opportunity to provide his case and stake his claim with OSI yet you, Mr. Ward, are in clear violation of your own laws. As for you Mr. Ward, in regard to what is already being named "Bretonia's new annexation plans" I suggest we discuss your plans before we proceed.

Specifically addressing the concerns of OSI and the Freeport 1 Administration, I must protest your grievances. Again, by the ancient Law Of Salvage, as abandoned bases, I actually had every right to take control of those stations and claim them so long as it required no use of force. Those stations were in disrepair and by your own statement had been abandoned under the pretext it was too dangerous to try to board them. That may have been the case for OSI, but not for TAU ENTERPRISES.

In the future, perhaps those in the region may indeed realize that derelict bases that are not maintained for long enough will either see dismantling by regional forces, or fall under the control of someone else. Whichever case they prefer less, either way, may be it's own incentive to maintain their own claim. I didn't set out to take any property from the Zoners or previous owners, yet I won't let any bases with serious industrial value that are still salvageable go to waste. I believe this will pose no threat or problems to Zoner inhabitancy of the Freeport area, as we are a law abiding Freelancer company.

As the claim has government recognition, and under treaty does control the entirety of the system, who am I to argue with the Bretonian Government's authority on this matter? It is my impression that our salvage of these bases is now recognized as a better option for all parties, than them being captured by pirates/criminals/terrorists/foreign entities, or posing long term safety hazards to the NFZ.

I believe at this point OSI must address their dispute to the Bretonian Government.

It will not take long for the Crown to make a strong presence in your stations and start pushing their weight. They have a long history of doing it. They cannot beat another house military but seem to enjoy pushing on those weaker than them and God forbid if you fight back. The Crown was not interested in these bases until you brought it up. You should have kept it local as OSI and even MFE would have assisted.
