Mr Simpson: We apologize for the lack of a provided answer, however the current political situation within Bretonia has kept us busy with important state matters. The location of the installation has been received, and, after discussing the status of such a project, we have decided to APPROVE it. Good luck in your endeavour, Sir.

Good Morning esteemed Members of Bretonian Governement
As you are all undoubtedly aware, we have seen a worrying increase in Pirate-, and most specifically lowely Corsair-activity around installations belonging to our Corporation.
Sadly the most newly, still under construction modular base, in Omega-3, couldn't resist the force mustered by those gutter-rats. However, thanks to the fast and forcefull response of the Armed Forces, as well as the Merchant Navy, a loss of life could be prevented.
Due to these reasons, and recently spotted Scout-activity in the vicinity of Ulster-Station in Dublin. We kindly, and highly urgently ask your approval for placement of a total of four Weapons-Platforms around Ulster-Station.
The Armed Forces representatives have communicated the increase in both pirate and Corsair raids on shipping passing through the Kingdom. Due to the current situation, we see it as beneficial to both parties to approve the construction of additional turret emplacements on Ulster Station. The Essex and her escorts will provide ample cover whilst construction operations are underway.
ATTN OF: .......... Bretonian Government - Base Registration Division
SUBJECT: .......... Change of Ownership of various POB's.
Bretonian Government,
Deep Space Engineers wish to advise that they have taken ownership of three POB's registered in Bretonia.
Goldgeist - This is because the transaction was not completed, and payment not made.
Old Trafford - This was found abandoned and considered derelict. As former owners, we have full access to this base. We had a contract to maintain Old Trafford, but non-payment for maintenance and upkeep was not forthcoming and we have confiscated to offset our debts. It is a civil issue.
Planet Leeds - Search and Rescue. DSE| had a working arrangement to supply base maintenance materials but we have not been paid and the former owners are not contactable. In lieu of unpaid debt, we have taken ownership and will seek to recoup our losses by selling or leasing as we see fit.
We hope this clears up any concerns you may have regarding true ownership. I am aware of an attempt by a local Junker who attempted to gain "squaters rights" to both Old Trafford and Planet Leeds, but DSE| can assure you he has no claim what-so-ever.

Pilots and respected base managers,
Due to security concerns regarding the safety of existing installations, as well as an increase in the number of degrading bases, it is the desire of the Ministry of Defence to inform all citizens that base registrations are hereby suspended until further notice. In return, and as ample compensation for already-existing installations, they will be exempt from security checks until March 830 AS.
We expect the issues to be resolved within the coming months. We apologize for the inconveniences caused.
Thank you for your understanding.

SUBJECT: .......... Suspension of Base Registrations
Mr Ward
Can you please elaborate about what are these "Security concerns" you mention? Why would that have any bearing on any legal registration? Does that mean legitimate and legally registered bases are no longer registered?

Mr. Hunter,
The closure of registrations is done in light of a significant uptick the number of degrading bases as well as due to an increase in outlaw presence, further exacerbated by on-going events in the Cambridge system.
Installations that are already registered will not be subject to any changes, with the exception of the prior-mentioned aspects, amongst which an exemption from hull integrity checks as we will continue to monitor the situation.
We hope this is understandable.

Esteemed clients,
The Kingdom of Bretonia hereby resumes base registrations, effective immediately. Past issues, such as and including security concerns and supply problems with several installations have been addressed.
We welcome any organization interested in continuing trade with the Crown of Bretonia to inform us of any such desire to build a new installation over this channel. The regulations remain in place as evidenced on the initial document page.
The Ministry of Defence wishes best of luck.

SUBJECT: The destruction of DSE|- bases Old Trafford and Planet Leeds S&R
Return of DSE|- assets
Can I assume, then, Mr Ward that the unwarranted destruction of two valuable assets of DSE|- will be rebuilt or compensation paid out for their destruction? These were illegally destroyed by BAF under the "pretext" of being horribly decayed, but we know the truth on this matter don't we, Mr Ward.
The reputation of Queen Carina's armed forces has been seriously sullied, negatively impacted by this attack on a loyal ally of Bretonia.

Mr. Hunter,
The dismantling of the two installations was carried out lawfully and due to their crew's unresponsiveness. We hope this has been made clear enough. The Kingdom of Bretonia will provide no compensation for these bases.
In regards to your request, DSE will find that it will receive significant objections to any base construction should the current state of affairs continue and should we be the receiver of other vague threats.
Thank you for your attention.
