Hey, can you throw in an explanation why you are keeping unofficial and more or less inactive factions as "primary fleets" in Liberty laws, when a primary fleet was historically always understood as an official faction? Thank you!

Because of legacy that the factions carry.
We would also appreciate if someone didn't try to go behind our backs to make requests to change laws to remove long standing primary fleets from the list. Thank you.
Hardly behind your back, it was my request to correct an oversight - but apparently, you have changed the criterion that has always been "primary fleet = having an official status" to "whoever we please based on our views of the "legacy they carry"

You went behind our backs because you have not contacted us to inquire about this and went ahead with requesting staff to change the laws when historically it was always understood to be done by governments.
While the assumption and most likely unwritten definition might have been that Primary Fleet = official faction, it does not mean that it cannot change and cannot be adapted to decreased activity on Disco where 4 official Liberty Forces lost official status over the last two years. [LN]-, =LSF =and LPI- have been official factions for a decade and reliably kept enforcing the laws.
You are free to contact us and make concise argument why certain changes should be done to improve Liberty Laws.

Because we're actually respectful towards our veterans, especially if they poured so much time and effort into this god forsaken mod. There's a certain terminology you might not be familiar with - it's caled "culture". Those factions are a part of our culture, as well as Liberty's

It's been a while since you've swung back around with your concerns. The 'law' has been kept there over the years mostly to mark out the factions as veterans who you can somewhat reasonably expect to be a good introduction to actually being very or extremely familiar with Liberty. A "heres some elders to respect" sort of thing. I'd think if it confused someone in the last decade it would've popped up before now.
