Overview

---

Operation Long Shadow has reached GREENLIGHT status. Cruiser task force "Tyran" has been sortied from Sulawesi Citadel in Tau-44, to Falkland Station to perform surveillance and resonances in Tau-37. With the main objective of interfering with Maltese smuggling of cardimine. The taskforces last contact was at Java Station in Tau-23. Beyond that threshold was an open frontier, controlled by none. As the expedition starts the group is called to condition 2, with their security no longer assured as they slip into the great unknown.

Meanwhile...

As a Maltese raiding party returns from a strike on a mining facility in Tau 29, it takes a stop at Cali base to deposit the goods to be refined and escorted back to Maltese bases. Now the victorious force is to be returned to Maltese space for their next assignment. However, in the cruel and divided Tau 23 system, danger is always present. And in such a harsh environment, one small step can lead to trip down an unfortunate situation.

With both forces heading to the same chokepoint it is bound for the foes to clash. Will Crayterians burning desire of revenge for Orange Hammer be enough, or will Maltese supremacy retain its certainty? Time to see just who is In The Eyes Of Vipers.
