chopper, from vanila, nomads have ships, where only 1 weapon can destroy planet (earth) and vannila nomad npc have stronger guns as nomad blaster/cannon.
and nomads are not humans, they technology is lot better that human technology.
when you will follow vannila things, then noone except corsairs can have shieldbusters, noone except wilds and nomads can use nomad guns etc ....
and tbh nomads are the most capwhored faction in gamme... (all the bh battlecruisers, or order cap ships or our corsairs capital ships that i see everyday in delta)
Nomad ships are slower then Dragon and KNF ships.
Then how can you actually have faster Supernova then these factions?
Treewyrm, look at it this way.
No Supernova should ever be faster then 280 speed.
Make speed the same for all types.
This is not about Keepers, really, it's about balance. And that is not balanced.
Make it with 200k damage for all I care, I just don't want you going around pwning all fighters in your way just because you have an uber weapon.
Global, if they are capwhored, they shouldn't be sacrificing damage for speed now, would they?
Speed has nothing to do with hitting capital ships. But yes, it has something to do with hitting fighters.

p.s. everyone else too, make your own stat list for supernovas then, so we could have variety, choices and able to discuss and criticize each others variants.
Heh, I support different in RP supernovas for factions, but speed should stay the same. For the Nomad SN, the stats can remain the same but the speed should be changed to 280ms.
I too support different stats for different factions, I want the speed to stay the same though. Or at least, only have a small range, from 260ms to 300ms, a 40ms range, quite close in.

Sure, compare it then to other 280 +/- 5 variants then.

Okay, what about other stats then? What would be your minimums and maximums then.
I already said that speed should be the same for all factions.
We can still have variety with energy consumption and damage.
Yes, range should also stay at least close for all factions.
Here's an example
Corsair SN -
Damage - 130.000
Energy consumption - 36.000
Range - 2000
Speed - 280
Nomad SN -
Damage 120.000
Energy consumption - 30.000
Range - 2000
Speed 280
For example, Rogues could have 180.000 damage for 50.000 energy.
Why is that so? Because Barghest is too big and it should deal as much damage as possible at one time, then taking distance from capships.
Etc etc.
My point isn't that I would make a better proposal at all.
I'm just saying that some things shouldn't be touched, and some should.
Speed and range should be equal for all factions.
Damage and consumption need variety.

My range of stats would probably be something like this.
112k to 150k Hull
56k to 75k Shield
1400m to 2500m Range
260ms to 300ms speed
unchanged refire rate
31k to 42k energy use.
Chopper, im not sure that range needs to stay the same, though for most they would be around the same. There should be a little play around with the stats I reckon, apart from the speed...
Speaking of stats, another thing to keep in mind when you're compiling them: re-fire rate, energy consumption and bomber powerplant regeneration go hand in hand together, for example small refires could be negated by powerplant regen rate which would add it's own delay (i.e. not enough energy to fire again due to bomber still recharging energy to make it enough for another shot), so the end result will have different refiring. So basically energy consumption have lesser impact due to those limitations. Major three parameters to play around with are: damage, speed and range, i.e. parameters to balance around with. Lesser parameters we use - harder it to balance, by adding to one and subtracting from another.
I'm more into getting everyone a roleplayed supernova than having variety in stats. I rather just have different names. But yeah I can settle too with a difference in damage and energy consumption which should be adapted to their respective bombers.
If the blood dragon bomber has low powerplant give them a variety where the energy consumption is low. But of course damage lowered too.
