After coming back I asked a few people around if they'd be interested in re-making pvp events I used to host back when I played. They agreed and I decided to roll with it. For those who missed it, here are a few events from back then: Darlington Event, Omicron Xi, New Tokyo and many more. Purpose was to have a controlled PvP event while maintaining a short RP premise and trying to make it as fun and fair as possible for everyone participating. I don't know the community and individual player skill as well anymore, but I will ask people who do to help me balance the fight before it gets decided on the roster and one side gets rolled over. That being said things can and do go wrong even with the best intention in mind, though we can try at least.

To join simply write your ship name, side and class. If you are flexible to swap to the other side or another class, write it down as well. It will help with balancing the sides.

Premise:

Following the recent progress of Sprague as a result of the trade lane to Freeport 1 being finished and the planet being drastically more populated, mostly thanks to the migrants from Leeds, Omega-3 has been rising in interest for the Bretonian government. As the planet rapidly developed first problems arose due to BMM's questionable work malpractice which the local pirates used to start an insurgency. Bretonia struggles to maintain law on the planet to this day, and has to devote more resources than she would want to protecting the trade from Sprague towards Bretonia.

Corsairs saw this as a perfect opportunity to plunder and pillage the other part of Omega-3, the trade artery towards Rheinland. They proceeded to send a large force to the Omega-7 gate in an attempt to disrupt traffic and cripple Bretonia's reputation and presence in the system. Learning their lesson from the past, however, Bretonia was alerted of the upcoming assault, and managed to send the Sprague battlegroup in time to defend the critical gate. Before large Corsair ships managed to besiege the gate and do any damage to the civilian traffic, and risking a potential flank from lawful forces in Omega-7, they were forced to meet the Bretonians head-on in the heart of Omega-3.

Bretonia wasn't the only one impacted by the blockade of the main artery between her and Rheinland. Just before the fight broke out, on the other side of the Omega-7 gate Rheinland forces had arrived. They were dispatched swiftly having been notified of the temporary blockade and decided to enter Omega-3 to investigate. Seeing the Bretonians outnumbered they joined the fight to even the score and wipe out the Corsairs.

// Ingame outcome: Corsairs won with better coordination of capital ships and snubs working together. It was a closer fight than it might seem, but Bretonian side couldn't finish off the low hp targets which there were many of.

Regulations:

1. Standard PvP rules apply.

If you're killed, you're out. No returning to the battle again.

2. No running away from the active battlezone.

Once you leave the fight you're forbidden from rejoining. That includes resupplying.

3. All loadouts allowed.

Self explanatory. Anything that's in the game is game.

4. No running to the NPC stations, asteroids or sundiving.

Events are made to be as fair as possible so do not leave the battlezone to hug asteroids or draw the fight into the sun intentionally.

5. Register to participate.

Non registered ships will be asked to leave. Registering helps us keep the fight fair and fun for everyone.
