Picking up where Slappy left off, we've updated and expanded the Shipping Faction bonuses to continue to give thematic routes suited for factions that are not mining-centric in nature. These routes are intended to give additional gameplay in line with their faction/house's lore and take players to interesting destinations.
Any feedback is welcomed, and report any issues you might have in the event I missed something.
Gateway Shipping: Robocultivars - Planet Honshu, Honshu -> Planet New London, New London
IDF Shipping: Biostability Monitors - Planet Quillan, Languedoc -> Niigata Star City, Sigma 59
USI: H-Fuel - Niigata Star City -> Cordova Shipping Platform, Magellan
Honestly, some of these seem a bit pointless, but I see the merit of having a replacement commodity that's decently profitable for the times where there are no ores around.
I suggest maybe overhauling some od the routes in the future so they function as an additional bonus between ore dropoff and pickup points. E.g. they should be short, local routes that boost the income when shipping ores with the RP appropriate shipping factions. (Gallia comes to mind with the Aluminum dropoff being on one side, and all the ores on the other)
Otherwise, a welcome change to make hauling regular stuff more worth it.

This is just my opinion, but I disagree with the points you have mentioned.
These shipping bonus commodities should mark the first "steps" towards moving away from the current stale gameplay of hauling ores. Economy (and trading overall) should be less about the current 500% profit per unit and more about high risk and roleplay-focused commodities. A good example of this is represented by the new police items.
Oh, don't get me wrong I love the idea of RP appropriate routes. But the basic tenet of human psychology is to try and min-max everything.
So unless you make the RP commodities at least as profitable as ores most people will still go for ores most of the time. (And you can't do that as ores are limited and regular commodities aren't)
So I'd rather have people shipping ores as USI or Gateway then picking up the RP run as a transition than seeing people shipping these once a month when no ores are available.
For the duration of the Weekend Event, these shipping bonuses are temporarily disabled.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but there's a bit of a technical limit we have to work around for the time being and running these at the same time could've caused some issues. These bonuses will be back with the same server restart that wraps up the weekend events (Monday, 9AM UTC).

These bonuses will be back up and running with tomorrow's daily restart.
I'm guessing with this notion, that the option of adding multiple event bonuses/plugins to work in unison is now a reality, by which then I formally suggest restoring the Cardamine and Artifact trading events @Squad has concocted in the past, as they would be an excellent addition to the game's economy that most would like to see.
It goes without saying that a brief review by Economy would be a good idea, as opposed to implementing the bonuses in the aforementioned threads ad verbatim.
