Officer Dossier: Admiral Aden TannerSurname: Tanner Name: Aden Gender: Male Date of birth: 23 July 786 A.S. Place of birth: Planet Houston, Texas System
Aden was born in 786 A.S. on planet Houston to a modest family of veterans. Growing up on planet Houston, life was good. His father and mother, both of whom served in the Liberty Navy, were dedicated parents who strived to give Aden and themselves the best life they could afford. They were the typical Libertonian working-class family, honest and patriotic. Growing up, he would listen to the stories of his parent's service in the Navy, particularly his father, a fighter pilot. He always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, so in 804 A.S., shortly after turning eighteen, he applied and was accepted into West Point Academy.
In 806 A.S., Tanner graduated from West Point Academy with the rank of Ensign and was stationed aboard the LNS-Texas. He would serve with the ship's fighter squadron for ten years. As a pilot, he would receive multiple promotions along with a prominent scar down his right cheek from a piece of shrapnel that blew through his cockpit.
In 816 A.S., Tanner is promoted to Commander and reassigned as a basic flight instructor at West Point, where he will serve for the next four years. When promoted to Captain in 820 A.S., he requests reassignment to the Second fleet and is given command of the LNS-Ranger, an Interdictor class Battlecruiser.
In 827 A.S., Tanner is recruited into the "Forty-sixth Strike Force." He is later given a field promotion from Captain to Vice Admiral on the orders of Fleet Admiral James Horatio Creed. Newly promoted, Tanner's first official action is to take command of the LNS-Texas as his flagship.
In 829 A.S., Tanner is promoted to Admiral, making him one of the youngest four-star Admirals in Navy history, at only forty-three years of age. Admiral Tanner currently serves as the Forty-sixth Fleet's Executive Officer and the Commanding Officer of the LNS-Texas.

BiographyBorn on Planet Denver, Maria's life was nothing out of the ordinary. Both of her parents worked for the Liberty Navy, but their stories would both end tragically. Her mother would participate in Universal Shipping convoys as an escort quite often, one of which would end up being the end of her as they got ambushed by a pack of Rogues. Nobody made it out alive. Her life was brought upside-down when her mother died, leaving a twelve year old Maria behind with her father.
Her father became a lot more strict with Maria after those events while at the same time he fully dedicated himself into his work. Maria grew up without having any friends as a result of the scars created in her from her mother's death and her father's attitude. She was what you'd refer as 'the lonely girl' in every class she took part in, but that of course had it's positives. Maria was consistently the top student, her efforts of course not being recognized by her father however.
The next two decades of her life went by in a similar manner. Maria ended up joining the Navy after multiple talks with her father, just after she was done with her education. At the age of thirty-two she would become a Captain and be assigned in command of her first battleship.
Life, however, still decided not to go easy on her.
Maria's father took part in the war between Liberty and Gallia, unfortunately losing his life in Liberty's final stand against the battleship Carcassonne and her fleet, at California. The loss of her father when Maria was only at the age of thirty-five devastated her once again. She spent the next year hopping in and out of various hospitals, and going through many psychological exams before the medical personnel would let her back into the Navy.
When she returned to her job, at eight-two-six after settlement, Maria was much colder than what everyone remembered. Her experiences along with the various ins and outs on hospitals surely had taken their toll on her well-being. She still is, up to this day, however a much respected Captain, her commanding capabilities being second to none. She was proudly assigned with commanding the battleship Akhetaten on the seventeenth of September, eight-two-eight after settlement, after ex-Commodore Christopher Edwards filed his resignation from the Libertonian armed forces.
Maria continues to command the Akhetaten with incomparable might and decisiveness to this day, rendering it one of the most feared battleships to Liberty's enemies and a valuable asset to the Libertonian war machine.

BiographySamantha was born on Planet Denver to an economically well family. Her childhood and teenage years passed by without any difficulties. Her parents were honest and kind people, providing Sam with everything a girl would need growing up. Her father's status as a respected mercenary and her mother's status as an officer of the Liberty Navy made sure that the family not only had enough credits to live nicely, but also enough to ensure Sam's proper education. Samantha was very enthusiastic about school and while she didn't make any friends along the way, as most students preferred staying away from "the nerd", as they called her, her assignments, studies and her excellence in both gave her the interest to continue, looking forward to going to a university after graduating school. That was until the loss of her father which, at the age of seventeen (17), turned Samantha's life up-side down.
She completely let go of any dreams she had about growing up, living the rest of her life planet-side and continuing her studies. Despite her mother's attempts, Samantha decided she would follow her father's desires and become a pilot herself. Less than a year after his sudden death and now at the age of eighteen (18), Sam would find herself applying to the Liberty Navy at West Point Military Academy. A girl as young as her and with no training whatsoever had very slim chances of being accepted, and yet just a few days later she would receive a positive response from West Point. She was once again excited about the future and what it would have in store for her. Her mother couldn't help but begin supporting Samantha's dreams, even though she continued to not want her daughter following her footsteps in the Navy.
She entered the Academy and begun her courses; a total of six years worth of training, after which she would be a capable pilot both in snub-craft and in capital ships operated by the Libertonian armed forces. Her instructors would quickly realize that Samantha was not suitable for face-to-face combat, barely managing to complete the basic courses. The instructors would very quickly realize that Samantha's interest lied in space combat and more specifically capital ship commanding.
The next six years of her life would go by swiftly as she alternated between the Academy during her training months, and her home at Denver during her various vacations. The courses she completed over these years were numerous, including but not limited to:
Capital ship commanding
Capital ship defensive and offensive maneuvering
Navigation and charting
Scanner and sensor operation
After her courses were completed, seeing the huge interest Samantha showed, her instructors recommended she attended to two (2) more years of advanced capital ship training. Without a second thought, Samantha accepted.
Once her training was complete, and at the age of twenty-six (26), Samantha walked out of the Academy in her newly acquired Navy uniform and headed home to a very proud mother - despite her initial disapproval. Sam wouldn't waste any time before beginning to work for the Liberty Navy and she would quickly gain respect among the ranks of it - after all there weren't many officers that had a whole eight (8) years spent in West Point before being in space.
It was found suitable by the Navy's command to decorate Samantha with the rank of Lieutenant Commander at the start of her career. [CLASSIFIED - OF-9] It was in addition decided that Samantha had shown the discipline, maturity and experience necessary in order to command her first vessel and so an older Defiant-class by the name of LNS-Hopewas put under her command. The next year of Samantha's life in the Navy earned her her crew's honor and respect, while her service aboard the LNS-Hope was beginning to be recognized by command. It had became apparent to Samantha by now, however, that despite the LNS-Hope's many successes in the field and her numerous takedowns on hostile ships, the recognition that Samantha and her ship deserved were not given to her and weren't going to as long as she remained a secondary.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-9] Her progress towards her plan of applying to a primary fleet and giving the LNS-Hope a true chance to shine would be completely halted, however. Unbeknownst to her, the Defiant-class which was under her command had spurred the interest of many a scum, all wishing to bring the ship down and avenge the number of friends she had taken down.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-9] During a regular patrol of the Tahoe Ice Cloud and on her way from San Diego Border Station to Planet California Minor, the trade-lane that the LNS-Hope had taken was disrupted by numerous hostiles. Their numbers seemed un-ending, with more showing up on the gunboat's scanners as time passed. Without wasting any time, Samantha pulled the trigger, but she would quickly realize that this wouldn't be a fight she could win. The abandon ship order was given approximately seven (7) minutes since the start of the engagement, thirty (30) seconds after the ship's engine was disabled. As per what few readings we managed to salvage from the ship's black-box, only three (3) out of thirty (30) lifeboats were launched, and only one (1) of those managed to escape the Ice Cloud without being detected by the hostile forces.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-9] The passengers of the lifeboat were the vessel's commanding officer Samantha Brown, executive officer Larry Owen, and gunnery officer Terry Brooke. The lifeless bodies of the executive and gunnery officers were extracted from the lifeboat while the injured commanding officer was transported to the nearest hospital. Samantha was in denial of the events that took place. She kept repeating that the two officers with her were alive, even though autopsy results showed that the officers had passed away before being evacuated into the lifeboat. Signs of physical trauma on the bodies indicated they could have been dragged into the escape pod.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-9] Command gave Samantha an honorary leave from the Navy for the next year with weekly evaluations of her condition being necessary. Psychiatrist Doctor Ignatio Jones was assigned to look after Samantha until he judges that her condition has normalized and she can return to a normal life-style. Samantha is required to take part in at least one (1) weekly appointment with Doctor Jones for an undefined period of time.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-9] With her condition stabilizing after the year had passed, Samantha was cleared by Doctor Jones to return to active service. Her appointment count has been reduced to one (1) per month minimum.
After the recent years of gaining even more experience in the field to back up her theoretical knowledge gained from her training, Samantha thought it was about time to join a primary fleet. Looking through her options, she made her decision and applied to the Forty-Sixth (46th) Fleet, hoping to receive a similar notification like the one she did ten years ago.

Biography██████ ██████ was both in planet New Tokyo from a fairly wealthy family. Having the best teachers and managing to reach adulthood passing every exam with flying colors, ██ had every opportunity to become something big in ███ life. From a very young age, ██████'s dream was to explore Sirius and much to ███ parents' disapproval, ██ would go to one of the best flight academies in Kusari to learn how to fly a ship. The basics were very quickly understood, and ██████ was able to move on to more advanced lessons, finishing the academy and being granted with ███ diploma after two years.
██████ immediately left home and started wondering around Sirius, slowly beginning to fulfill ███ dream of free exploration. Not wanting to rely on ███ parents' economical support, ██████ would use ███ skills to provide escorts and fulfill scouting contracts all around Sirius and for whoever paid the most, making ███ name well known. Soon enough, large companies would begin hiring ███ by their own request, leading ██████ to climb the salary ladder a lot sooner than ██ had anticipated.
Out of all of ██████'s journeys, one would leave ███ impressed. On 827 A.S. a convoy ██████ was part of lead him into Liberty Space, a place that - after seeing - ██ did not want to move away from. Slowly growing to love Liberty and often finding ███████ flying around aimlessly helping people left and right, occasionally informing the authorities of smugglers ██ saw flying by, ██████ knew that this is where ██ wants to spend the rest of ███ life in. Being a fairly new, but experienced pilot, ██████ decided to apply for the Fifth Fleet.
[ERROR: DATA CORRUPTION]
About two years into Laura's career with the Fifth Fleet, an opportunity was presented to her after a major change in the ranking structure within the crews of a recently re-introduced Osiris-class battleship, the Akhetaten. With the warship's current commanding officer retiring from the Navy, the shift in ranks left the spot of the chief communications officer free. Seeing Laura as a valid candidate and after placing a temporary and more experienced individual on that place, Laura was selected by the Akhetaten's new commanding officer, Maria Uhmen, to take up the spot of communications officer aboard the ship.
Showing great discipline, decisiveness, diplomatic skills and patience, Laura quickly made a name for herself within the crew and in minimal time had taken over the spot of chief communications officer aboard the Navy battleship. Her career would continue in the exact same way for the next year, after which the Akhetaten would transfer over to the Forty-Sixth Fleet.
After the transfer to the Forty-Sixth - and perhaps for a few months prior to that - Laura's performance has been questionable at best. Having been disciplined a number of times, including being temporarily demoted, Laura's conduct constantly puts the ship's commanding and executive officers hard at work attempting to cover up for her mishaps. Uhmen - who's patience is close to running out - is doing her best to convince Brown that Silva is not what Brown has seen so far and that she can get work done, while the latter is having a hard time to believe her superior and has requested Silva's removal from the crew - or at least permanent demotion - a number of times.

Other: Basic mechanic degree.
BiographyBorn to Marcus Simmons, a metallurgical prodigy of his time, which allowed him to rise from the gutters to a very good position in society, and the saint that is Irezumi Simmons. Her parents were always seen as very proactive members of society and were respected for the work that they did. Not only for the effort they put into the work that they were assigned to do, but also the extra effort they put at their own expense; Irezumi hosting weekend classes, and Marcus putting talented kids through school while also being very active in hiring people who came from all backgrounds.
As a child, Katherine was the light of her parents eyes. Being a calm kid who never got into trouble and was happy to go to school, to read and to learn, even at some point having a kids library that nearly equaled her father's collection of books and articles. There isn't much to say about Katherine until she turned fifteen (15), but from that point onward her family’s life was about to take a turn that nobody could have ever predicted.
While being accepted into a very prestigious private school that focused on humanitarian studies, Katherine had started to become more involved in the nightlife of Manhattan, which was also about to take her to new corners of what she would describe as a paradise. Unbeknownst to her, coming from the upper echelons of life, she would make easy to pray for those with strange needs and dubious occupations that knew how to lure a kid in a trap. What started as random encounters with familiar faces to different private parties that she was attending turned into respect, protection and her starting to become somewhat of an important figure in the underground youth scene.
Her friends had very different occupations than what Katherine was doing with her life, something that made her slowly but surely start to become more and more enamored with the thrills of being on the other side of the law, while also having that safety net of being who she was. Soon enough as it happens in those cases, she wanted to do more risky activities. To chase those thrills. Katherine would also start to add other substances in her daily routine, to take the edge away and to give her a different outlook on life. At around the age of seventeen (17) she found herself as part of a smuggling crew which brought Cardamine from deep within the Omicrons right into the heart of Liberty alongside “friends” that she made during her years in the underground scene. That crew that she was part of was lead by Frank “Shiv” Johnson, a low life good-for-nothing orphan that managed to sneak into both the heart of Liberty and the heart of young and gullible Katherine, who decided that Shiv was showing her the flaws in the society that she grew in and that they were part of a righteous war, sorting the weak people from the strong and that one day the actions they were taking would lead to a new world that everybody would have equal chances and there will no longer be a need for military, for police, and that when anarchy will settle in and after the initial chaos will resign natural law will take over.
While not being the brightest person Shiv had a way with words allowing him to snake his way into the minds and hearts of those who were stupid enough to listen.
Katherine's mind and soul were clouded with uncertainty, with the spark that Shiv had planted in her. A spark that eventually turned into a flame, a rebellious flame that overwhelmed the young spirit of the girl. Her family would realize how easily they could lose their daughter, but they decided to roll with the situation and wait for the perfect moment to pull their daughter away from that world quietly.
To their surprise however, days after turning eighteen (18) Katherine returned home all bruised up and beaten, but managed to explain with very short breaths that the police had captured her and her gang, roughened them up good and were on the verge of taking them to jail. However, one of the officers recognized her by her name and realized that her mother used to teach him on the weekends. The officer then decided to believe in what little good might reside in her heart and drop her off in front of her house rather than imprison her in a cell, like her friends.
After that short story that felt like an eternity, Katherine collapsed on the floor and was passed out for the next forty-eight (48) hours, while her parents were total wrecks because of the situation.
After waking up, she demanded that her parents leave her alone, being unable to speak to anyone at the time, and she'd fall into a very dark place for a month, never sharing a word more than quick pleasantries, when she was brought food or an occasional gift with the intent to make her open up.
To everyone's surprise after one month of being almost entirely locked up in the room at the end of the hall of Simmons Manor, a whole new person emerged. Katherine Simmons was no longer that innocent child-like girl, who used to chuckle when her father would've said a sly remark or when her mother wanted to warm up to her and spend the night together like they used to do when she was little. The new Katherine Simmons was a stern lady, with a ghoulish like figure, fixed eyes and a very powerful aura. Upon seeing her daughter out of her room, Irezumi rushed to hug her, and after a very cordial hug from her daughter, she took a step back as Katherine declared that she is going to start preparing to join the navy and that she already enrolled at West Point Academy.
Upon hearing these words Marcus dropped his glass, went from radiant to sickly, stood up to say something but all he did manage to do was faint.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-8] - [Psychological Evaluation dated prior to patient joining the Navy - Doctor Horace Martin] Patient seems to have suffered a very intense emotional trauma. While the physical reports came back negative to anything serious caused by being exposed to dangerous substances and also from the alleged beatings received during her arrest, upon a closer psychological evaluation I do feel the need to attach my findings for those in the recruitment office who might find them useful.
During our one time session the patient seems to have created and alter ego which deals with her problems, but she is indeed hiding something that may be the result of underlying emotional damage suffered during her formative teenage years. While I could not give an exact situation report in regards to her conditions I do feel that she is capable of being an asset to the Navy as she seems to deal with her problems actively and also she seems to be a functional member of society.
However, she will not open up to previous events and will not share her personal opinions on them, but I do recommend she be sent back for further evaluation after her training is complete.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-8] - [Psychological Evaluation dated after the patient completed her training - Doctor Horace Martin] While we have been able to find out more about her conditions, during the time she has spend in the academy, we also have strong reasons to believe that there is underlying personality and emotional damage caused by the events that the patient has been through.
In addition, we came to the conclusion that she is going to be fit for military service and there are, as of yet, no real triggers we can find that would indicate the patient suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). During brain scans and regular discussions with the patient it was observed that some theoretical discussions seem to provoke higher brain activity than anything related do daily life. One of the most common situations that we have put the patient through was to ask her to describe what happened during the night when she was allegedly arrested, however, without going into too much detail as that would break the oath that I am under, I can clearly see that a whole different person comes into the light.
Based on the recent factors I'd like to also consider Miss Simmons a high function dual personality person, or rather a more fitting word for her condition is considered to be "split personality", as in her mind, from what we have managed to gather from our appointments, she believes about herself to have been... "reborn" I believe is the term that she used to describe it.
In a more simpler way Miss Simmons has developed a shell; on the outside being a very rough and tough opinionated girl while on the inside we can get a glimpse of a hurt and confused teenager that did not manage to fully develop.
I do still advise the admiralty to not consider this an issue as all of her score cards paint a very viable picture for the Navy. We would also like to continue to keep her under surveillance and we kindly suggest that the Navy informs us in the case that Miss Simmons manages to get more friendly and personal with any of her peers or superiors, and to give us the possibility to ask that said person some questions.
[CLASSIFIED - OF-8] - [Personal letter to the Admiralty - Lieutenant Junior Grade Katherine Simmons] Esteemed members of the Admiralty, I send this letter to your eyes and your eyes only. In the few or many words that you will see written I will try to explain my life so far, as you do deserve an explanation of the whole situation that I was made aware that you had known about, yet against better odds decided to accept me into your ranks and also promoted me in record time. For that trust I want to thank you
Now as you have seen from my biography there was a quiet period of my life and after that as I grew older, it started to stray more and more. In the beginning it was only fun and it was that rebellious fire that ached in my heart. After that I was in the new position I found myself, that of a very important persona, having all eyes on me, always having the people below me trying to warm up to me by doing all that I bid, while I was on my own road of ascension to the Manhattan underworld due to my friends, or what foolish little Kafy thought as friends.
Now I know that these children stories are not exactly the type of story you want to hear, but I want to keep on going in order to reassure you that the Katherine Simmons you have allowed in your ranks is no longer that girl from the past.
Now amongst my friend group there was one individual who stood out from the rest, a young man with a raging fire in his soul, with words that could cozy up to the ear of the most experienced man or woman across the whole wide Sirius. Such was his gift with words. So me and my friends being young and very much impressionable, we fell for his words and dedicated more than our lives to this man that will be mentioned as Shiv, and as I was saying some of us had dedicated more than just their life. They had dedicated their frailty and their future, their present and past. One of them was me.
Under Shiv we had risen to a very comfortable position in the underworld of Manhattan, to a point where we were turning more money to small-time corporations and then many powerful individuals, but all of the things we used to do for that money changed something in me. I felt for the first time that the smell of blood became the only thing I was able to smell. I never thought about the pain that I was putting on those kids and on those less fortunate people of Manhattan.
We were bringing any substance known to man on the streets of our home land and were flooding them. We never liked competition and my stupidity along side with the drive which I’ve inherited from my family made me the perfect enforcer and the best executor in that crew and at one point I do believe I actually started to like that. I was out there playing God for those who had lost Him, I was their hope and their judgement, if they were good little puppies, and it brings me so much pain to say this but as mentioned I want to paint the clear picture.
I was giving them an escape, being dreams, orange dreams, or any other tool to even for a moment leave this world. And for those that did us wrong, I used to walk them through all the rings of fire and all the levels of damnation.
However we were soon to find that by playing Gods you will eventually come face to face with reality and that we were mere kids and youngsters that had bitten way more than they could chew. Our ship was raided by the police force on a Friday night when we were all sleeping after a huge party and a huge haul of drugs that we had managed to smuggle across multiple bars and locations throughout Libertonian Space.
That raid lasted for eighteen hours (18). It was our time to walk the path we had laid for ourselves and with me being the false god of that whole operation, the face and poster baby, my own path was the worst as the police thought they were dealing with a dangerous gang leader that for years engaged in the most horrific situations. Now I still do not feel comfortable to tell you what that raid ensued, but I urge you to try and imagine. When your imagination runs out, that is where what we went through begun.
After eight (8) hours of enduring severe punishments, from the most physically demanding to the most brutal torture, I passed out and woke up when I was carried in the cargo-hold of a small fighter by a young police officer that was taking me home. Fading in and out of consciousness I found myself in front of my house's door and with all the strength I could muster I managed to get inside.
From there-on things become rather not relevant. Doctor Martin must have informed you of the result of the raid. And my one month of being catatonic and unable to mentally heal from all those events that seemed to have happened in a flash in my eyes, but in reality were hours of torture and abuse.
But where I wanted to get with this story is that when I first gathered my thoughts and managed to piece myself together I was struck by a singular idea, Navy. Looking back, I think that this must've been my subconsciousness sending me to the only place that could wash away all the fear and all the feelings of weakness, of fighting for nothing, of disappointment to myself and to my family, and the only place that in my little world that would keep me safe from all that happened.
Now I cannot oblige you to believe me that I am a changed person.
All that I can do is to ask of you to believe in me and I will show you that your trust will not be misplaced.
