Yes! Great! That is exactly the density I was talking about.
Now channel that into the right direction, stop pretending you did anything about Erie and try to address people on the neural net that aren't traders, doctors, cultists and people that keep disbanding organizations.
You have the right spirit, but you are still trying to rally the wrong people!

Good to hear from you again, Christian,
I do, however, wish it was under different circumstances. Yes, the Corsair situation is very different here in Omicron Theta. We have been monitoring it carefully and I have spoken to both Pontiff Gregorius and the Corsairs themselves. What I do know is that the Corsairs were getting angry about the Freeport 9 administration not meeting demands of theirs and I guess their patience just ended. I certainly do not support their actions. I have been assured that Zoners still on staff are not being harmed to include my medical team still stuck there. To be honest, I am surprised they did not take it years ago as I was told by the Corsair Brotherhood that they wanted the base. It did not help that repeated Outcast incursions into Omicron Gamma that were being based off of the Freeport were a problem. I am sure both blame each other.
I do not think they have an interest in Pygar and I certainly hope that I am right about that. It has no real strategic value and you cannot really grow anything on it so it would not be an attractive target. We built Med Force Academy next to it to support the population there and will continue to do so. As to a military presence? We have a few escort fighters and bombers but no real warcraft. We are medical professionals with a limited security staff. Like it or not, diplomacy and having things people need is our best weapon.
Speaking of the Corsairs, I have received more respect and courtesy over the last decade from them than I have any house. We have not always agreed but we have always resolved our differences peacefully. I guess it help having provided medical to Cretan settlers on Gran Canaria when it was a haven. Keeping a peaceful co-existence is a must for us as we are on the brink of some research break throughs on medical equipment and procedures, both of which I just assume keep out of house hands!
While what the Corsairs did was quite aggressive and angering, the actions of Bretonia, Liberty and even Gallia are worse in my book. Friends if you will, are few for us. The Order? Well, they have been busy surviving themselves. The Core? You never know which way the wind is blowing with them. I know my thought process here is not in line with yours. I think our work here at Med Force Enterprises has distanced us a bit from the Zoners even if we still seek a neutral stance and diplomacy as a rule.
Christian, I will talk with my board members and see if we have anything we can offer.
Doc.
I'm glad to hear that the Corsairs potentially don't have interest in Pygar itself. But there are rumblings about them Considering Pygar to be a challenge for Crete in regard to resources, something I wish to express to them isn't the case. I don't wish for that to become a reason for open conflict, Though Pygar has no real growing landscape, we have been successful in building Biodomes to produce food. We do still rely on imports for the most part but I cannot see it effecting whatever Supply lines they have.
I agree that a peaceful solution is best and should be aimed for as much as possible.
Unfortunately it all happens only in such turbulence, when our world starts to fall apart. Of course, I understand that you won't be able to present significant firepower, but we are in a situation where every grain counts.
Thank you for providing us detailed information regarding communication with the Corsairs. Those men are true warriors made in conflicts. Short but bright lives made up in fights are forge of the aces and heroes of their own motherland. By their nature of warriors - hospitality, cooperation would be taken as weakness, not as ability to mediate for fruitful co-existence.
The sword is about to gather is not blind, it made to accomplish several tasks:
Takeover what belongs to us.
Let them show that our hospitality and intermediation are great tools that work for the interest of both parties.
Force Corsairs to set back down to round table for negotiations. They should understand, there are enough powers which are interested in maintaining the status quo. And its in our favour.
We're not going to drive them off all the way back to Crete with ferocity, considering our sword as the peak of negotiations, when we're desperate. And yet, you should not worry about slaughter next to the Freeport, we are planning to make operations as swift as possible, taking by surprise the station from different flanks. I, yet, cannot tell the list of the powers which would be participating in the action. I only can assure you they would be way different, you will be surprised.
As for other Theta assets - we're never considered that Freeport 9 a scenario ever be possible. I mean, there used to be occasional attacks over time during the old times of short-lived Omicroners and Zoner Trading Consortium, but they never succeeded that far. Would you feel confident and safe on Med Force installations or Pygar with Corsairs controlled Freeport 9? Judging by my experience, Canaria would be considered a safe haven in comparison.
I hear you talk, and I see how the typical problems that make us zoners easy prey for anyone who wants to take something we have by force, come to the surface once again.
The situation we have in Theta is what it is. The Corsairs, whom our zoner communities have always helped survive, have forcibly taken over a freeport and held its inhabitants hostage. This act threatens the security of the people who live in the rest of the enclaves placed in the system. It's true that Doctor Holliday affirms that the Corsairs have told him that they have no interest in Pygar or Corfu, but, honestly, the fear that their close presence produces in those of us who live in these places will not be calmed merely with those words coming from the aggressors. In my humble opinion, the Corsairs could very well be taking this first step to proceed to the conquest of all of Theta.
Therefore, taking into account the facts, it's clear that we have a problem that is not going to solve itself. We can blame each other for all our disagreements and conflicts that we may have had in the past, or we can act like adults and seriously talk about doing something to avoid the next slap in the face of the zoner community.
Mr. Burton has put forward a call for zoner groups to come together to recapture Freeport 9 by force. It's an aggressive approach to the problem, and while I support Phoenix's initiative to try to find a solution to the conflict, I personally have deep and concerned doubts about how successful we could be in a battle involving a combined zoner fleet against Corsair units. We the zoners are not an army, and I'm afraid that we'll never be one, for the reasons that many of you have stated here, and despite the good and sincere intention that has been put into all the initiatives that have previously been attempted. I deeply respect all these attempts, but I believe that we're too different groups, to permanently submit to the authority of a military, with hierarchical command and all that stuff.
It's for all this that I subscribe, in principle, to the opinions of Dr. Holliday and Mr. Voncloud that it would be preferable to begin with an attempt to resolve the problem through diplomatic channels. Both people have offered, voluntarily, to start conversations with the Corsairs and put our points of view to them, and both people are very capable of doing it, so I think we shouldn't disdain their offer. I detest violence and, whenever possible, I will opt for diplomacy first when dealing with a conflict.
However, we must not deceive ourselves. It's very likely that, as Mr. Burton points out, given the warlike nature of the Corsairs, diplomacy will not be successful because it's seen by them as a sign of weakness. If that happens, we should be prepared to act in the only way that would be possible, and that is, through force.
From what he has said, Mr. Burton seems to have a solid plan that not only includes us zoners, but other powers, which would undoubtedly favor our chances of success in a possible armed conflict against the Corsairs. I'm sure he will soon be able to tell us more about who are these allies who would support us, and what the plan of action would be, but even now that I know nothing about the details, for me it's clear that Mr. Burton is the only one who has proposed a non-diplomatic alternative. And it is an indisputable fact that we need a non-diplomatic alternative up our sleeve because, I repeat, it's possible that diplomacy will fail in this case.
Ladies and gentlemen, I think that all of us here prefer peace to war, but peace only exists when freedom is present. If the response to aggression is to do nothing, bow the head and accept it, then there is no peace. At most there may be an absence of violence, but there will be no peace, only subjugation. And now, the zoner community has been attacked here in Theta, as it was in Gran Canaria, as it was also in Erie, and, in my opinion, opposing it's a moral obligation for a zoner. After all, our love of freedom and our wish of independence from other powers is the only thing that, probably, all of us really have in common.
I'm in favor of doing something real to solve this problem, and I know my community at Pygar will support me. I hope everything can be fixed through dialogue, I fully trust the efforts of such respectable and efficient people as Dr. Holliday and Mr. Voncloud, but if it doesn't work, the few combat forces I can provide will be alongside Phoenix's ships in the fight, and may Deux help us all.

Commander,
Typical Phoenix hypocrisy. Tell me, what did you do while Erie was being subjugated by Liberty? Did you help those fleeing from their oppression or stay in your little fortresses in the Edge worlds while those Zoners suffered? You did nothing. It wasn't until the same treatment is levied at your own people in the Edge worlds that you demand action from others. Phoenix has always had an air of superiority about them. You and your comrades in the Edge worlds consider yourselves above the average Zoner. Now that your own AOR is threatened by others, all of a sudden you come down from your ivory towers and call us to action? Pathetic.
Go back to your little fortresses, Commander. At least I retired with my dignity, you are just grasping at straws and looking like a fool as you do so.

Burton...
Or shall I call you "Herald of the Apocalypse"? 'Cuz we only ever get to hear anything from you when thousands are about to die and another Zoner planet is about to be leveled... Don't pretend you did anything, or even cared, about the Erie situation. Like you didn't care about Gran Canaria either...
The same as when you did nothing when the Order declared TAZ as 'shoot on sight' targets. Like you did nothing when Order wanted to do the same with OSI when I was a member of the Board of Directors there. You didn't even interceded in our names with your almighty admiral, you just kept licking his boots like a good old lapdog...
I had to act alone and at the end got to a pretty decent agreement with Golanski. He was surprisingly understandable of the situation and we got to a middle-ground and not a single shot was fired. All that just talking sincerely with each other. All that without even a hint of a help from you.
Have you asked your master what to do? I bet not. Perhaps you should do just that. The old admiral is a clever guy and he has experience dealing with the $%@*$&* corsairs. Listen to what he has to say to you.
At least now you have someone of the cunning and experience of Voncloud to try and put some sense on that otherwise empty head of yours. Listen to him carefully also and follow his advise. Not only he is the better person for the job but he also cares about his people on Pygar.
Jerard, old friend.
Good to see you are still kicking up and running. I wish we had to get in contact again in better circumstances, but that's the Omicron and the Omegas, so usually that's not the case.
I wish you can get to some sort of agreement with the 'sairs, but rest assured if the need comes you can get one more pilot to help. I still have the old Sabana gunboat from our times in OSI. It's stationed at 48, but I can take it to Theta if needed. Also my old Nanda Devi bomber is stored somewhere in the back of one of the Corfu hangars. I will send a message to the docking master there to clean up the dust and upgrade the software and weapons for the new models and it's at least one more ship to help defend Pygar if the need arise. Let's hope not, but in any case just call and I will come to help.
I think the better strategy for now would be to block the corsairs from landing at any of the Zoner stations. Just like they did for us in Nine. That will choke their supply lines and perhaps they are more willing to talk then? Ah, I dunno, I'm too old for this crap. Maybe you guys already did that and I don't even realize. In any case, if the need comes I can still at least be annoying enough on a dogfight to attract some fire, perhaps. Call me if there's need for action.
We received this very shortly after it was broadcasted though we had to confer with our command staff before deciding on a response.
First off, we greatly appreciate that someone has a louder voice in this regard. To be honest, our Unit took the immediate stance to prevent any direct hostilities and tried to take stock of the situation in our own way. Our main office resided on Freeport 9 at the time, and we had to undergo a significant change in much of our backend operations. This is not to downplay any other’s situations of course, merely stating how things went for us. It is good to see that so many have responded to this call and are creating a conversation.
With some of our crew and staff here at Delta 4 formerly based at Freeport 9, we sympathize with the Theta Zoners. What happened there was terrible and completely out of line with many agreements the Zoners held with the Corsairs. At the time of occurrence, we did reach out to some of our Corsair allies and tried to make reasoning of the situation with them. Unfortunately, we did not have much success, and little could be done to convince their upper leadership otherwise. Delta 4 and the Stormhawk have managed to maintain a cordial relationship with them in hopes a viable solution can be found in the future.
A small handful of our team even decided to depart from us and act in their own way. We have supported them in their endeavors and are hopeful a solution can be found soon. Despite this, and after significant debate, our team has decided to not get further involved in the affairs of Freeport 9. We do not in any way condone what happened nor will we forget. The other side of the equation is that long ago Delta 4 determined that we would stay tightly focussed on our mission of stemming the Nomad tide and strictly not getting involved in the affairs of other conflicts or political actions.
If we are available at the time, our people will assist in any defensive activities for any Zoner groups. We know that the Corsairs hold a large fleet of ships that few can match, and we will defend those that cannot help themselves. But as for extensive offensive activities, we will have to respectfully decline your request for the time being. To Christian, we hope to continue to maintain our friendship that began a long time ago.
Should Phoenix or its allies need any high priority supplies or equipment, feel free to let us know. Delta 4 will continue to monitor the situation for any major changes.
