Ahm nope. We would easily find a Replacement for the Hogosha. Maybe the Junkers? Or someone else. Also the Artifact Trade is only a Side Hussle for Orbital, it is not our Main Business. But it is the Main business for Hogosha. So we would be hurt sure, but it would not be as Devastating for us as it would be for Hogosha.
And as you said there is no Altruism, so it wouldn't make any sense for us to fund the Competition by doing business with them so they can buy more Liners.
It would even make sense for us to Hire GC or the Blood Dragon and Pay them a Nice Bounty for Every Amaterasu that they Destroy. Or should I say help to have an Accident?

Hogosha is your direct competitor in luxury cruises through Kusari it seems - with their Dragon Casino. You know, a renzu liner an amaterasu liner.

Yeah I don't think Samura is going to be too concerned about a corporate war with OS&C. They have more than enough ways to make money that aren't being competed with, that's the entire point of how the Kusarian corporations work.

I am afraid that Hogosha deals artifacts for Corsairs, not OSC. Hogosha is far more important for Corsairs than OSC would ever be in this regard, they'd happily ditch you once they can to split your share between them like it happened with the GMG.
And all your wealthy clients onboard your liners are just prime targets for Corsairs once you stop being useful.

Oh, I don't think that. With how Xenophobic the Hogosha is they would Ruin it with the Corsairs. It has a reason why they use us as the Middleman. Also, I am sure that the Junkers would be more than happy to take over the Trade. or Maybe one of the Rheinland Factions like the Bundschu? or the LBW? there are Dozens of Options to Replace the Hogosha in RP.
Also you forget one IMPORTANT thing. The Wealthy Clients you talk about that could be target by the Corsairs are exactly the CUSTOMERS THAT BUY THE ARTIFACTS.

The Hogosha are very much a quasi-legal group almost directly sponsored by Samura. Samura directly makes their ships for their personal use. If you think a fight with the Hogosha is going to go better for you than it is for them then you're very much mistaken,

The Junkers don't need you, they buy the artifacts from Corsairs directly. The only reason Hogosha and Corsairs ever needed a middleman is because they never had a good place to trade merchandise - neither faction used to have holdings in the Sigmas. That is why they used the GMG, and when those became inconvenient, they switched to OSC. But now times have changes, and both Hogosha and Corsairs have plenty of bases to move artifacts directly between one another. OSC is redundant now.
Also, the suggestion of the Bundschuh (rabid enemies of Corsairs' Rheinland ally and artifact fencers, the Unioners) and LWB as potential alternatives make me wonder if you've ever read a single infocard in this game.

Yes, there is one reason why they use your Hawaii as a place to exchange artifacts - because it was the only non-GMG base in Sigmas, which is not true anymore with new Corsair bases in the region. You don't have any other role in the deal.
