This is an analysis of the event so far and its most likely outcome.
P.S.
- I played the event so far, I was part of the 12+ convoy.
- The post is related to the update to the event - 1.5M credits for the full route and 200K bonus for Trader blues.
- Possible balances and improvements to future events to make things easier and transparent for both the staff and players.
You get cobbles for playing as an escort. Traders are only paying 50k on each run, and you only get 50k on kill from the event plugin. It should be higher to encourage people to play escorts or to encourage fun fights to happen.

Lots of the traders also are in frigates, and it isn't really viable for them to pay more than 50k per escort, when there's sometimes 3+ of them
I don't think traders should be paying more, but I do think that escorts have kind of been neglected in this event. They don't have liberty to engage most of the pirates who've figured out hogosha is the objectively best ID to run the event on since it can't be engaged, meanwhile it can engage freely when the odds are stacked on their favour. When escorts do get engaged and pull off a kill that is not as easy as /1 /2ing a transport, they now get a quarter of what a hogosha would get for the aforementioned /1 /2.
I, personally, don't care so much about the credits, if I did I'd frankly be running a hogosha gunboat, but I do think that we'd have more interesting gameplay if a) escorts could actually engage targets proactively and b) there was more incentive to escort beyond people doing it for fun.
This isn't to say the event isn't already going very well, it's really quite nice and it's been a great job putting it together, but I just think a couple tweaks wouldn't be unwarranted.
[03.07.2024] LNS-Beast***: we can do this every day but you have to buy bigger stronger ships...and i'll help you
As my Ships got deleted a total of 25 kills got nullified along with 73 completed runs? (365k of combined SP and Robotics) or it stays on score and I would get a reward counted from those ships?

Judging from the scoreboard - it should stay. Also, when you rename a ship, it effectively gets deleted, but from my experience at previous event, the score you earned on it stays

Aftermath
Sensing a historic opportunity at Samura’s expense, Synth Foods has massively ramped up Paste exports to Kusari from their Rheinland holdings. With Kyushu devastated by storms and many of its rice plantations destroyed, Synth has marketed their immensely profitable campaign as humanitarian relief. Whether the shipments were altruistically motivated or not, it is true that food-linked inflation in Kusari has markedly dropped, while Synth has noticeably expanded its market share.
Synth had long been in negotiations with Kishiro Technologies about arrangements within Kusari, however the current crisis provided the perfect catalyst to accelerate matters. Contracts were signed on an expedited basis to secure large scale orders for agricultural Robotics produced on Planet Honshu. Additionally, Kishiro transports would take on responsibility for distributing Paste shipments within Kusari, from Narita Outpost’s warehouses in New Tokyo.
The two corporations have not been permitted to operate unfettered however. News of Kishiro and Synth’s plans had quickly spread, sparking outrage among senior conservative politicians. The Hogosha, Farmer’s Alliance and even elements of Samura’s paramilitary escort service were mobilized. Wrecking a bloody toll in the Sigmas and even Kusari core systems, Synth and Kishiro transports were savagely attacked. Despite the ruined hulls of dozens of ships littering the nebulae, Synth’s mass shipping scheme was ultimately a success.
Kishiro has also grown frustrated by Kusari’s inaction on the Farmer’s Alliance, who have increasingly targeted their own vessels over the decades. Kishiro knows that Samura, their ancient rival, are using the Alliance as a cudgel to strike their competitors, but cannot prove the allegations. Rather than cowing Kishiro’s ambitions, these attacks have had the opposite effect; Kishiro has become increasingly sympathetic to Synth, with the two forming a nascent ‘modernisation bloc’ that intends to force Kusari’s protectionist markets open.
Senior executives will soon meet on Deshima Station to formally sign a Memorandum of Understanding that will solidify their relationship.

I was the KTV-Satori.Maru. So I guess either of the titles, depending on which I qualified for. In total, it was more than 100k of product, but it was 65k for robotics, 55k for paste.
