Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: Representatives, Technocracy of Auxo Subject: Representatives Office
Greetings to the Technocracy.
It's been quite some time since that chat in space near Valravn where you had allowed us to setup our installation within Inverness. From then until now, considering our experience with our former installation, we have made some amazing progress getting everything back in order. With the news coming out about this "pulse", we are undergoing an expansion to our facility to build new wings. The purpose of these new facilities will be to assist the other research stations around Sirius with their efforts to understand this pulse. In addition to extra research areas, one of these new wings will be dedicated to crew quarters and offices.
My message today is that I'd like to make it as comfortable as possible for any of your teams on board to continue working with us. If you require any items that will enable us to make this happen, please do let us know.
Since we have undergone a similar process in the past with our old headquarters in Kepler, we don't exactly need the same amount of space. One of these new wings can be dedicated to something you need if you wish, instead of the standard mass storage module. All you have to do is ask.
A fascinating development indeed. We will all have to be on our best to keep the scientific edge in lieu of this ""blackout""
Regarding our teams, they will not require much in terms of their biological catering. In the event of a medical emergency, we can send over an emergency response team to assist your personnel if any special circumstances arise.
I can only suggest that you dedicate an area for "Transhuman Resources" - for a place to rest, to rejuvenate, to undertake self care without being present with strangers, including one room dedicated for server storage for our administration to keep communications with your facility. These sections should not take up too much space.
On a brighter note, I suspect we'll be making many new discoveries in the coming years. I hope you are ready for a high workload.
Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: Revenant, Technocracy of Auxo Subject: Higher workload
As long as the resources needed to keep your teams healthy and active aren't a hassle to obtain, I can task a transport to pick up a load or two. Servers we can obtain from Baltimore, as that's where we have purchased ours in the past.
Anything you recommend to prepare us for this higher workload?
We would greatly appreciate delegation of a refining process with some exotic materials. In order for us to further study these materials, we will need you to construct laboratories to specifically handle these biohazardous materials. The specifications for construction will be given to you by our Technocrat Representatives onboard.
As you may be aware with the discovery of these 'Cellulite Crystals' and the 'corroded' metallurgy known as 'Chirodebris' - we have specific interests with these resources. As many groups race for the forefront of advancement, we are adamant on staying on top of the competition, and are willing to share the boon of knowledge with you. We are on the forefront of major breakthroughs, and we would like to ask of you to not share these refined materials. If monetary income is desired, we can permit some sales of surplus as long as we get a percentage cut. 70%. As your teams will be among the few people in the sector with the rare technical expertise to process these materials into something workable, you'll find that your services to others can be quite expensive for them, it will make up for the large offset of the percentage. Keep these skills to yourselves, and it will serve you well. Share it - and you lose your niche and only empower others.
We will teach you how to refine these materials, safely, and give you the resources to protect your crew should an incident arise. Our teams will focus on retrieving materials for you to work, so you needn't worry about obtaining them.
Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: Revenant, Technocracy of Auxo Subject: Further assistance
I'll schedule a meeting with your representative on board and go through the specifics. Our teams are very interested in getting their hands on these crystals and debris.
You're likely already aware that a large scientific workforce is on board the Starfliers Research Complex, however there are those who prefer to fly out and do our standard cartography and reporting.
They may also be interested in helping gather materials, though with our current fleet of ships, we are logstically ill equipped. Better to have everything ready for this higher workload.
What would you recommend to have us assist in recovering these materials?
To enhance your fleet, I recommend providing your personnel with R1 Draugrs. These vessels are well-suited to your requirements and fully customizable according to your preferences, as the design prints are available on the open market. Our preference is to employ specially treated hulls to ensure the vessels can withstand the challenges posed by radiation during deep space expeditions.
Considering the Starfliers reluctance towards combat, you can modify the power systems to accommodate with your more... pacifist specifications and reinforce your shield generators. We can manufacture freighters for your team to study, and they will be ready within the next few weeks. Please revisit the Citadel at a later date.
Leon Vicci, Starfliers To: Revenant, Technocracy of Auxo Subject: "Draugr"-Class
"Draugr"-Class? It was a candidate on my list of ships to acquire, appreciate that you have offered to construct a handful. We'll only need five or so.
I'll send over the Starflier Treatment reference document, should make it easier to prepare the ships for us. When they are ready I'll visit the Citadel with the Velorum to pick them up.
