TEAMS
Each team must use the same id/iff for its players (OF and indie ids of the same faction are equivalent).
I will assume people are registering for both days by default, let me know otherwise.
Can we have ships from different(or even hostile) factions on one team? Also, donated 10 mil to the overall prizepool, pease distribute it between 1st, 2nd and 3rd places: https://imgur.com/a/OPJRfjz

Suppose Mooberty Navy works as a team name unless anyone disagrees lmao

Huh, so that means I can't sign in as LSF battlecruiser to the LN team. That's not fun
From what I gather, this will be a team battle royale, a fight for survival. So how would the staff manage it if a group decides to run while the others fight and weaken each other?
The 'Zoom in' thing makes sense but what if that team also plans in advance to get away from the battle every time the 'zoom in' happens.

And this...only worsens the mentioned problem.

So you cannot bring indies if others have an OF ID?

How would you keep track of that in massive fleet battle?

You have two options - create your own LSF team, with blackjack and hookers. Or just buy a LN id and /droprep for the purpose of the event. It was either that or forcing people to have the same tag, which would get annoying.

I cannot control how people decide to play. I hope that the monetary incentives and the reinforcements are enough to encourage people to engage.
This is to solve the issue of people being perpetually 5-10 minutes late for events. Anything beyond that, especially if teams have already died, means you probably won't get in.
That's fine I guess - there's probably multiple OFs without that many active players. I'll update the rules.
Myself and with the help of staff hopefully. This is primarily aimed at conflict avoidance, so if a massive fleet battle happens more than 10k above that's fine.

Well, that would be weird for LibNavy IFFed ship to have a name "LSF-%something%", like in my case. And /renameme has the loooooooong cooldown of 14 days, as far as I know

Well that's what I'm saying, buying a certain ID and then /droprep is very easy, and you can do the same thing after the event to go back to your original id/iff. Renameme is not required in this case - it doesn't really matter what your name is for the event.
