Character name: Christopher Edwards
Ship name: LNS-Akhetaten

4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?
The request is necessary for the continuation of my rp on this character on the in-game environment rather than having it be limited on the forums only. With this ID in place I will be able to effectively use the Osiris in-game, and serve the Liberty Navy Secondary Fleet.
5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planing to achieve on this character?
My short-term goals should the SRP be approved is to further continue the logs of the Akhetaten and take part in various events around Liberty, assisting the Liberty Forces and getting to rp with lot's of people in the process, creating new connections and getting Christopher known around Liberty.
After Christopher and the Akhetaten gain the Navy's trust I am planning to request various permissions (along with changes to the SRP) to increase the ship's effective zone of operations and take part in assignments taking the Akhetaten outside Liberty, thus creating new rp possibilities.
7. Provide a cliffnote/summary for the links provided above.
The Captain's Logs archives I have attached depict Christopher's view of the action he's been in, aboard the Akhetaten, from 811 A.S. until 824 A.S. marking the year when the ship was shot down by the Carcassonne and her fleet, in Manchester. Christopher was one of the few surviving crew members, he was rescued and brought back to Manhattan, heavily injured and in a coma that lasted 2 years. In 826 Christopher woke up, he spent a few weeks recovering from a case the doctors could only describe as a very lucky one, and with his most recent promotion to the rank of Captain the repairs of the Akhetaten soon ended up in his own hands. Command hadn't touched the Akhetaten for the last few years due to not having the available resources for it, as well as not having a properly experienced Captain for the ship (as seen from the communications with the Fifth Fleet). The main purpose of the logs is to give a certain background lore to the ship itself and how the ship ended up in repairs, as well as to depict Christopher's experiences aboard it from his own eyes; a young Lieutenant. The logs will of course be used to note down important events that take place in the present and future, after the Akhetaten is ready for action.
The Biography I have attached explains Christopher's life before he joined the crew of the Akhetaten. It's purpose is to give the character himself some background lore and story behind who he really is, as well as how he ended up being part of the Akhetaten's crew.
The communications I have attached are about Christopher coming into contact with Liberty's Primary Fleets, in order to get the Akhetaten looked at for a full repair in which the ship will be completely repurposed from it's "Intelligence gathering/spying" role into a more basic Libertonian battleship and have it ready to join the ranks of the Liberty Navy Second Fleet.
8. How long has this character been building its backstory?
The character's story is being built for the last 2 months.

'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
- The name to be changed from LNS-Akhetaten to 5th|LNS-Akhetaten
- The ability to change any piece of equipment on the ship provided there is a good reason for it and provided the necessary forum rp is in place for said equipment change
- The ship's ID to be changed to the standard 5th| ID, with the ship's core tweaked to 100% on that ID
4. Why are these changes necessary?
After the Akhetaten's transference from the Secondary to the Fifth Fleet it's only natural that a name change is required. Along with that and after discussion with the Admiralty we decided the Akhetaten should be fitted with a 5th| ID instead of keeping the unique SRP on and have the ship operate with 100% core under this ship. The ability to freely change any piece of equipment aboard the ship without the need of a new change request is only logical since the ship is now part of a Primary Fleet and therefore has access to the Fleet's resources - should the circumstance require it.
5. Provide possible links to the relevant forum roleplay.
Approved name change (done) and 5th| Faction ID (done).
Ship Loadout changes will still require a Request.

A rather simple change:
- The C-48 "Cerberus" turret to be changed to a TL-25 "Mortar" turret.
4. Why are these changes necessary?
As written and described in the thread linked below, the Akhetaten's weapon arsenal has remained unchanged over the last 29 years that the ship has been in service in the Liberty Navy. It's current arsenal sports a C-48 "Cerberus" in order to give the battleship a way to defend itself if it ended up in an ambush from hostile forces, provided that in her early days the Akhetaten used to operate deep within enemy space serving an intelligence-gathering role. Nowadays, after the Akhetaten's return in the Liberty Navy, the battleship no longer faces the threat of an ambush, provided that the ship barely exits Liberty space.
With that in mind, and as recent engagements have shown, the C-48 "Cerberus" has been a rather under-performing weapon on the Akhetaten, seeing almost no use. Swapping the C-48 for a TL-25 "Mortar" at this point is what Christopher decided would be the best for the Akhetaten provided that the TL-25 has superior range, a respectable amount of damage and it doesn't put a significant weight on the Akhetaten's reactor. The TL-45 "Heavy Mortar", the TL-25's big brother, was deemed a compromise to the Akhetaten due to the severe load it would output on the ship's reactor.

Name of the character changed from 5th|LNS-Akhetaten to 5th|TFA-LNS-Akhetaten
4. Why are these changes necessary?
With the most recent advancements that the Akhetaten has been lead to and the numerous victories it has brought back, it's been clear to the Liberty Navy that the battleship is shifting from it's operating-behind-enemy-lines-only purpose to a more standard warship, the most recent weapon arsenal change with the addition of a TL-25 being a much needed first step towards that path.
The introduction of Task Force Akhetaten is a big step taken in that direction, with the battleship being granted it's 'official' battlegroup that Commodore Uhmen will be in command of. Naturally, with the Akhetaten being the flagship of the battlegroup, it is at the very least expected of the vessel to carry on the same identifying tag as any other ship in the battlegroup.
5. Provide possible links to the relevant forum roleplay.
There are two parts in this request. One is a Sci-Data reward part and the other is the SRP change request because I want the name slightly changed to reflect the Sci-Data rewards.
For the SRP part of things: I want the name of the vessel changed to 5th|TFA-LNX-Akhetaten, the LNX- being the "tag" for a non-mainline ship, showing that the Akhetaten has prototype weaponry on board.
For the Sci-Data part of things I shall use the specific BBCode provided in this thread.
Sci-Data Bonus Wrote:APPLICATION FOR SCIENTIFIC DATA BONUS Name of character receiving the bonus: 5th|TFA-LNS-Akhetaten Name of character with the required amount of Data: CPRV-Stakhanovets Type of bonus requested: 3x Thumpers to be installed on the ship in place of the 3 Liberty Primaries. 2x EMP Flaks to be installed on the ship in place of the 2 Liberty Flaks. Link to forum roleplay describing the creation of the item:Link 1, Link 2 Additional Information: I will describe that below on question #4.
4. Why are these changes necessary?
After a few years of operation, the Akhetaten's CO has noticed that the main battery currently installed on the Akhetaten is putting a severe load on the ship's lighter reactor due to the weaponry itself being designed for use with the heavier reactors found on Liberty's more mainline warships (Overlord, Atlantis). This has lead to the Akhetaten's reactor being strained to a point where a total failure of it is imminent, and it has already happened once.
To not risk any further damage to the reactor, the Director of Naval Intelligence, Rear Admiral Nicole Prower, was contacted regarding this matter. The CO, Maria Uhmen, requested the replacement of the standard Collapser Liberty Primary turrets with the more advanced prototype weaponry known as Thumpers, weaponry that puts a significantly smaller load on the ship's reactor. For the same reason, Uhmen requested that the Akhetaten's Meson Liberty Flak turrets be replaced with prototype EMP flaks.
5. Provide possible links to the relevant forum roleplay.
All of the roleplay done around this is linked above in the Sci-Data section of question #3.
