No. Wild have been bottled up in there and cut off since the star popped. I'll probably provide a story overview of the 5.1 update in the next dev diary, with an explanation of what the various factions are up to.

Infinite Railgun like the old Corona turret with infinite range and something like radioactive damage with 10 million of damage and no way to run from such a hit ... i really like the idea xD

I also hear a lot about wrecks. Does that mean the average wrecks are becoming more profitable/worthwhile? or is it just a few with valuable loot?

Just a few. We don't want to put too many valuable items on wrecks, as a lot of people can't log in during the server restart time (Europeans are at work, Americans are asleep). The process of wreck hunting itself, making a bunch of throwaway ships, speed to the wreck, loot it, log off, is not exactly exciting gameplay either. There are ideas to make wreck hunting more interesting and fair, though not anytime soon. For now, wrecks' main purpose is adding flavor and storytelling to the area they are placed in through their infocards, placement and loot.

Is the eventual plan to have each of the houses Nomad systems end up connecting to Earhart? Such as Kusari and Tohoku for when Kusari gets some love (hopefully next)

We tried giving it wiggling poles, but didn't manage to make it work. We had the same idea like you showed on the picture, with wiggling poles and rapid spin. Perhaps we can cook something up until the update.

You will get instakilled at the poles, just not on the live version of Omega-58 which is far from finished. The poles are splitting Omega-58 in half. You'll have to find another way other than a blind f2 between the two sides.
