Ze kaiserliches Versorgungsschiff Schwaben was catapulted out of a trade lane during an ion storm and was later located near an unknown object, which I would as best describe as jump hole. We were attacked by unknown forces, but were able to push zem back. At some point we had to retreat from ze combat area, because we were running out of ammo.

We later arrived at ze Arnsberg Research Institute, where we offloaded some of our loot and started ze evaluation of our sensor information. We also managed to capture some individuals of whom we suspect to be infected by non-human beings. I assume you already known, zat I'm talking about das Wilde. Alzough zey are already publicity branded as enemies of ze empire, I'd prefer to not deal wiz zem for now.

However, I have ze duty to protect ze civilians of Rheinland, as well as bypassing traders, as much as possible. It should be understandable, zat due to ze sensitivity of zis matter I cannot hire civilian researchers, like from Daumann or ze 'Starfliers', to furzer chart ze area. Zey would also lack ze professional know-how to assess a potential zreat.

Zerefore I contact you, ze eyes and ears of ze empire. I admit, some of us still hold a grudge about what happens during ze civil war, but zat should be issues of ze past. I hereby request ze expertise of ze Rheinland intelligence for two zings:

1. Investigate ze unknown object at 58296; -945; -43051 and evaluate ze strategic benefit or potential zreat.
   
2. Eliminate ze zreat to ze New-Berlin system posed by infected agents.

I am glad zat you can examine ze object. However, it is razer worrying zat you confirm my suspicions. I am currently still unsure whezer zese ships come from Sigma-13 and use ze anomaly to spread terror in Rheinland. I can see on ze scan results zat unfortunately you were unable to neutralize ze zreat to our citizens. We will send regular patrols to ze area to establish a corresponding presence. Hopefully we will be able to intercept ze appropriate raids in advance.

I will also suggest to my superiors to lobby corresponding law changes. I can imagine, ze sector around ze anomaly can be restricted similar to §6.1.1.. We cannot allow smuggling, unwelcome or even unlawful entities to enter our beautiful capital system zis way or to use it ozerwise to zeir advantage.

I'm sure you have already taken from ze corresponding report, I have so far desist to transfer our captured survivors to Mecklenburg Prison. As soon as zey entered ze ship, our scanners raised alarm. We initiate a medical examination and we found parasites zat devour key organs and wrapped around ze central nervous system. As soon as ze prisoners were declared infected by alien parasites, zey were transfered to a high-security Enterprise liner (ze Gefangenentransportvehicle Spandau), which is currently located as mobile prison in ze Stuttgart system. For cost reasons ze medical equipment for such concerns is razer "unsuitable".

I'm sure you're not ze one to decide, but maybe you can forward a request from me to your superiors. We have dispatched a suitable transport vessel, the Bifrost, to safely retrieve and quarantine the prisoners.

The Buro agrees with setting up a legally mandated quarantine zone around the anomaly, but we do not recommend entering the field with patrols as this poses a high risk of contamination. Specialist teams have been deployed to monitor the anomaly for the time being.

Keep zat in mind, when adressing ze next message to me! I'm sure we boz don't want leaking information to a foreign person wiz a coincidentally equal name.

Your information about ze Spandau Prison are partially correct, alzrough not entirly true. Ze inmates get a place, which you can call 'housing'. But it's razer a prison cell zan a quarter. Ze main purpose of ze Spandau Prison is ze simplification of ze transfer to ze penal colony Hammersee. It was placed in ze heart of Rheinland wiz ze intention in mind, to get all criminals from ze different governmental systems in one place. We also provide a centralized court house and as result of zis we release innocent pilots captured during patrols. I will attach you ze initial application, which got approved by ze Reichstag.

Zat being said, of course we are interested in your offer as it would fit ze intention ideally. Ze current bounty for criminal pilots is 100 sc. Zis is 130% of ze one, ze Mecklenburg Prison in Lüneburg is offering. Unnessecary to say, zat we follow our own laws and ships of ze Büro already have docking access according to §7.9.1.. I would like to know, if you are offering a steady supply of pilots or if zis would be a one time transfer. I don't know, what costs you are facing for a possible transfer, but I can also offer you logistical support, should ze Marinenachrichtendienst be incapable to safely bring criminals to our prison station.
