I don't know why, I get embarrased over roleplay of that magnitude :/

Somthing like saying "Xenos Alpha 6 in position" before a raid on liberty space isnt a problem for me though... but when people get real deep... i kinda get... uninterested... gets too over the top for me and I kinda get out of character.

Rather than writing a silly RP story, get recommendations from other players that you are a responsible player, and wont abuse it.

Problem solved.

Can you write RP for a butcher gone mad and kills civilians with his butchers knife?
How about a LSF officer who shoots his guns at people?
What about a Corsair that eats non-corsairs?

You are making too general statements without knowledge of the subject. It isn't about "something that just kills humans." Just by that statement alone, shows that you don't understand nomads. Yes that is a large method of the nomads, but how do they kill them? What ways? Do they want to communicate more efficiently? How do they communicate? How do they reproduce? Is there a way that the Nomads want to neutralize humans without killing them? How can Nomads turn humans to their own purposes?

Writing RP for the Keepers shows that you know the subject. If you write about the Corsairs or anything else you show that you don't understand Nomads.
As for the recommendations from other players you get that as well. That isn't an option for a Keeper, it is a requirement and happens without your knowledge.

Actually, that sounds like most factions when you boil it down.

Yes I know that, I have already read the post about the faction, but what I meant to say in that post was that what had happened to Snapp was insane, sorry if I didn't make it clear because sometimes I put my posts together kind weirdly. But you're right, if I did try and gave it an honest effort I might make it in, but the thing is is that I don't want to end up like Snapp and be pretty much ignored.

What I think I might do is just get a Nomad Fighter and try to RP as a Nomad (like it says in the faction's post). Or is it saying I should get one after applying for the Keepers and try it out and see what happens? Gah looks like have I have to go read the post again lol.

I've always wondered how Nomads RP and think, it's to alien for me.

Also didn't Orilion say in SP that there were infected in all of the houses, "if not the leaders then key military units in the field." That quote indicates that any house could in theory have its own Wild.

I thought Bretonia was largely uninfested.. though, I agree with you. Das Wilde are only the infested in Rheinland.. there are others elsewhere, under different chains of commands and doing different deeds.

Das Wilde deal with the Rheinland version of the infected. Praetyre is the Das Wilde faction leader.

I think it IS possible to be independent nomads and Wild. Just be prepared for the RP that those two involve.

For one, they are enemies to every other faction in the game. As such unless you can get a group of other independent nomad or wild players you WILL be alone - seeing as how the NPCs don't talk back. The Keepers are not stopping anyone from using that Nomad light fighter. That you can use to be independent nomads. That also means you too Snapp, if you want to still play a nomad, however, you tried to get into the Keepers, and failed the entrance exam. And by your posts, and replies to this thread, I can see that the Keepers made the right decision.

komet, Chucc and Johann: I don't know what an independent wild would use, but I suggest that you watch other NPC wilds. Das Wilde are the Rheinland infected-ex-military so they use modified Wraths. A Bretonian Wild might use the appropriate Bretonian very heavy fighter.

As far as I'm aware Keepers and Wild are part of one collective, but operate differently.

So in answer to the original post, Yes you can play an independent nomad or Wild, but be prepared for alone-ness, being called a PVP whore, forum flames, and difficult times in getting your equipment and gear and RP sorted out.

Believe it or not, the Keepers receive just as much flaming, being called PVPwhores, getting Cap-ship massed, griefed, OoRPed ingame by other players and so on. I don't know what it's like in the Wilde. If anything I'd say independent nomads would have it easier, except for the fact that they are completely alone.

An independent Wilde would be considered by us the same way Imperial Daleks consider Renegade Daleks.. which could be very, very interesting.

I make the distinction between Das Wilde, and other houses infected humans ex-military. Sorry. I used the Wild in the wrong form.
Lets call the Bretonain infected military "The Jungles". They go Jungling all the way.

My point was, yes you can be independent nomads or wild, but whats the point? Most people would find it boring and lonely.
