As far as I see, one torp slot is above the ship, and one is bellow.
Me likes it, though I think it's a bit bigger, wider, then the current one.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
for that to work you need modeled inside of the cockpit and precisely hadpointed HpPilot.
So when you are texturing in Milkshape apply one empty material to the cockpit window. Name that material like you wish but part of the name must contain word: Glass.
When exporting MAT file exporter will ask you for missing material. Ignore that and press continue. It will apply default setting making windows transparent and light blue color.
Open Mat file with UTF editor. In Material library find your "Glass" material and edit two nodes -> Dc and Oc
Dc node have values like this:
Code:
0.00000
0.00000
0.00000
0.00000
Those are colors. So Dc node will define color of your windows. They are placed like this:
Code:
0.00000 Red
0.00000 Green
0.00000 Blue
Fourth line isn't important now.
By adding values like this
Quote:0.50000
0.30000
0.30000
you will get somewhat dark blue color. Don't make values above 0.9000.
Next step is to edit Oc node.
There is only one thing to edit there since it will look like this by default (edit first line):
Quote:0.80000
0.00000
Oc node is level of transparency. Lower number is more transparency and higher less...(or vice versa, i can't remember)
that would require retexturing - and they d look like something that was attached for the looks - afterwards attached for the looks ( and fails ). - tried some winglets there - and they don t look good. it disturbs the otherwise rather formal functionality design.
i actually suggested the blueish BW silvery with white linings.... but got convinced making it white with silver linings. - the current GMG ships ( taidan ) are white with grey stripes. .... ambient light will make it appear whatever light the colour has anyway - the ambient light in FL is very strong... and since this ship is "white" it will take any colour the suns have. but yes.... it ll be quite visible.
