guys, I can already tell you, it's not gonna be released, no one likes to release source codes, especially to games. as much as you want to try, it's not gonna work

People have released source codes though. Sure, it's taken a lot of convincing, but in the end it's worth it sometimes. Here, it's DEFINITELY worth it. Have a little optimism! Also, I might talk to my brother when he comes home next week. Maybe he can pull a few strings.

Somebody is already reverse-engineering Freelancer ... but better. Freelancer how it was shown in the videos that is. Freelancer 2 at that. It'll take a while since the guy has a job to do aswell and has a team of about 10 people at most, all with jobs. If we get it though, oh the joys.

Microsoft has already pulled support for FL, the game's nowadays almost out of print. They have nothing to lose financially.
