Bonjour,

I am Commander D'rval, and my crew and I have decided to join your cause. Our fight is more with the Royal Family as they have spent generations in greed getting rich of of common folk through taxes and other means of oppression. Traders? To us they are an added bonus.

We are currently working on earning the trust of our new family and earning the right to wear the Brigand ID. New space, new opportunities and hopefully, new fortunes.

I have had ze most unusual occurance this night...
I was patrolling with a brigand who may join our cause. I have already spoken with Diablo about him, it remains only for them to speak to each other. Anyway, some unusual readings on our long-range scanners prompted us to move our patrol from Burgundy to Languedoc, where we found no fewer than QUATRE Sirian ships.
Zis appeared to be their leader:



He would not speak to us for a long time at first, then started spewing some religious nonsense.



He and his 'students' left without paying le tax.

Mon Amis you must be careful when Interacting with these Beings they are not humane, they are demons in the Flesh. Our Intelligence HQ on Narbonne have intercepted many signals from an unknown group called 'The Order' who claim to fight these so called Demons. Ones that they call 'NOMADS' and apparently they even have the ability to posess you and control your mind which Mon Amis would explain the strange Religious nonsense it was talking you must not listen to there words we cannot risk an infection amongst our people.
As there is much infection amonst regular sirians like those the Order call the Wilde who are Infested Rheinlanders carrying the same Demons these Oracles do. I do not know how they have found Gallia but the fact they are now here tells me it wont be the last we shall see of them!!!! Thus we must enhance security around all our Bases especially Valence Base, Im drafting in new vessels to take position in our Fleet namely more Gunboats and 2 Cruisers as we our funds are indeed stretched.

I am afraid the lifestyle of Les Vampirs was not quite what I expected it to be. First and foremost, the appointments of le Brigands bases leave...something to be desired. Secondly, as I have participated in several instances of 'le tax', my reputation has suffered somewhat. I have recieved many tearstained letters from fans begging me to return from 'Le cote en Noir'. However, most important of all, I have been even less challenged as a racer here than I was on the course.
Therefore, I leave you, having accepted a sponsorship from GMS to return to le racecourse. I will of course respect our former partnership and not give any information to la policie. Furthermore, I leave you in the good hands of a young friend of mine, one far more suited to le Brigands lifestyle.
