Perhaps change it to A.A.S., which is seen elsewhere? After Arrival in Sirius.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
This immediately leads to my next question. Should we now link to these tags from faction pages? It might be also worthwhile to link from the NPC faction pages too.
I'll see what I can do about AS tomorrow. I feel that After Settlement is the best definition.
But I'd like to see a System template ready. And one thing in particular needs to be discussed is the Commodities sold. Is it really necessary and valuable information? It's already included in the bases.
Oh and there is no such thing as Side Arms in Disco I think.
EDIT: Could someone upload a picture of the Jump Hole? I linked it in the Jump Hole article. The same thing in ID article.
Are you Blodo using a camera ship or how do you get so nice pictures with no ship in it?
EDIT2: Article name 'Manhatten' that was a redirect page to Planet Manhattan was spelled wrong. I created 'Manhattan' with redirection, but I'm unable to delete the 'Manhatten' page. I already corrected the page (there was only one) that pointed to Manhatten. So the only thing left is the page removal.
I've been adding links a lot today combing though the articles so don't be alarmed to find a pretty "extensive" change log there.
looqas: I use cockpit view and I turned off cockpits in the FL options. It basically gives you a free screen, which you can then photoshop at will.
Also guys, I believe we need to look at the categories and look at cleaning them up, perhaps finding a good scheme to keep to. Right now categories are quite chaotic, and there are a lot of redundant ones. Check this: http://discoveryfl.com/wiki/index.php?titl...s&limit=500
Ideally we should have several main categories with the basic concepts of the game split into several subcategories, and have each article assigned to multiple. Proposition:
Code:
Ships
- Fighter class
- Bomber class
- Gunboat class
- Cruiser class
- Battleship class
1. Igiss did suggest one of us gets wiki rights.
I think it would be a good idea seeing as how Igiss is busy with other things.
Take a partial load off his shoulders and fully onto us, and Igiss can check it out every now and then.
I vote Blodo. Or me. Or looqas, or Marvin. One of us I think as we stay in regular contact and communication. I'm willing. I dont really care who as long as the stuff gets done and whoever gets it responds to us.
2. Categories: yes they do need to be more organized. Praetyre might get upset about losing his Moljinar categories but I think they need to change. There are too many categories at the mo.
3. Also watch your categories when you enter them. There are three entries under Sleeper ships which shouldn't be there.
Well, I got the admin access, so I guess I'm gonna be buggered about stuff concerning the wiki from now on. Also Igiss installed the ParserFunctions plugin, so three cheers.
