HEY, i m a student and its summer break ! - you cannot expect me to keep track of MONTHS:laugh:- i don t even know anymore what day of the week it is -.... you know... .students... 3 months vacation ... you really easily get lost hehe.
No I'm not demanding ubership:)Like I said... I have a general idea, but i want feedback and testing to assure balance. The only thing I really want to see and I wouldn't even call it "demanding"... is agility on this one;)
on another Issue.. i've fiddled with new ships, but it was ages ago.. you can provide Cr. Disruptor but not allowing Torpedo right?
Looks pretty nice. It devates more from Corsair design than the Gladiator, but it still fits the pattern rather nicelly. Double tail fins and agility as well, at least the 2 new 'Sair ships will be on the same mindset;)
you suppose the gladiator can use Centurion's SURs since they are basically the same ship and size minus the tail fins?
Looking at what still needs doing on the modeling part.
I must say, an amazing design going into the development of the Corsair line of ships. This one also holds true to that fact. However, if it were to have all Class 10 hard points, then the power plant would not be the equivalent of a Titan's, but probably of an Eagle's (The Talon very heavy fighter produced by The Order has all Class 10 hard points, but the Eagle power plant for balance's sake). So it would probably serve it better to be the standard VHF layout of 2x Class 9, 4x Class 10, assuming this is a next generation Corsair (V)HF.
As for the rest of the stats, I'll leave that to whoever determines them (Igiss of course) and leaving it with only a Cruise Disruptor hard point can be the difference between the Titan and this ship. This would be the fighter that could be used for more of an intercepting duty while providing the firepower the Corsairs have been known to dish out. Titans and Praetorians would hopefully still be the mainstay of a Corsair force for all general anti-fighter and anti-capital force, respectively. I would definitely like to see some Corsairs flying this ship, no doubt.

This ship is awesome, but as for the Decurion replace, I love the current Legionnire model, and I would prefer something similar (as in less radical changes) for a replace. To tell the truth, if there are spikes on the new Decurion, I'll probably decommission the Auxiliary... However! That is not the point of this thread!
I'm not sure what this class the ship would be, while I agree it is awesome, it's just occurd to me that, HFs and VHFs all have a torp/CD slot, while if this was to remain true to role, i.e. zero anti-cap capability, it couldn't have the torp slot. Lets face it, the torps weren't meant for use against fighters anyway, so they shouldn't be missed in-RP on an anti-fighter ship, but it would make the Gladiator a bit of a 'odd-one out'.
