Interesting ship design. It reminds me of a duck for some reason. It does look like it could fit the role of a salvager and a gunboat.
I agree with Jack. A group of Junker capships will not help the situation, it will only inflame tensions further. Some well armed Junker guards in collectors and bombers should do the trick.
I would like to stress that I agree completely that an immediate deployment of capital shipping to Sigma 13 will not help the situation. In fact that is the last thing I'm suggesting we do with them.
I would just feel a lot more secure to have them standing by elsewhere, should the need become.
As a wise soldier once said to me; "I'd rather have a gun and not need it, than need a gun and not have it."

I agree, I think cooler heads will prevail. The only capital ship problem around Yanagi has been the Bounty Hunters. I think they are starting to realize that they have no legal right to be acting in the manner which they have. The legal consequences they will face if they continue will be greater than anything we could do to them.
What Sigma 13 needs more than anything is common sense. I just assisted a fellow Congress member in running off two pirates who decided to fight right outside Yanagi. How did the fight start???......One pirate decided to tax the other. As if there wasn't enough madness already. Just think about what you are doing people.
A most interesting design. It may have some promise. Good to see Junker ingenuity at work. I will authorize your to access advanced technical files at the Library of Congress on Arecibo.

My fellow Junkers, it would seem the situation with the Outcasts is on quite shaky ground. From what I understand from our diplomatic channels, we have received an ultimatum.
I am worried about how things could turn out, so I ask you, fellows, what is our plan of action? Good Arbiter, have you followed up on this matter? If not, I ask if, perhaps, we might appoint one of our Congressmen as a diplomatic envoy to deal with this? Or at least what of the possibility of having one of the Adjudicators deal with Outcast matters? If nothing else, I will gladly dispatch my Adjunct on the Alexandros to further things along.
I fear this sort of matter would be quite bad for business.

I'm very glad you brought that to my attention before I sent any of my ships to Malta tonight. I guess that won't be happening for a while. This is most disturbing. I am curious though. Do they think Cardamine is the backbone of the Junker economy? There are actually many other ways to earn money. When you look at the financial loss here, they are almost inviting people to smuggle for the Corsairs instead. Still I don't wish to see this turn ugly. I'm sure our leadership will work something out. One other thing puzzles me though. I understand they don't exactly like a Corsair running Yanagi, but how are they losing money because of it. There are more Outcasts than Corsairs pirating 13 every day and they seem to be making a killing to me.
I'll be sleeping at Yanagi again tonight........man I hope it's a peaceful night.
I have been stationed at Yanagi for some time now. I eagerly await the results of the meeting, and am standing by for assistance.
I have been discussing... personal... matters with the Harvesters. I worry that my unique biomechanical makeup leads me to have more in common with them than most would be comfortable with knowing. I will record my interactions with them for archiving and analysis. Do we have a psych officer in or around Yanagi?

I am glad to hear things are being taken care of. I knew it was only a matter of time, but there is that business survival instinct that kicks in. Let me know if I can be of assistance in the meetings.
