I guess you were not aware that my comment was IN LINE with this discussion. I too am a parent ... I know what you are getting at ... but ... this is not an adults only server. As such ... certain standards are expected. The rule here is specifically designed to allow non-adults to play. If this rule goes away, the admins will have to close the server and this forum to adults only. Is this what you want?

You're missing the point. I never said it was already in the rules. I just wanted it added in or clarified because I am getting sick of all the people who go (imitates childish voice) "Oh look at me! I thrusted away from a battleship, but I don't have to leave because I didn't engage my cruise engines!" Ugh, then they just sit there egging you on until you finally snap and use cruise engines to catch up, which leads to you getting sanctioned. Either allow cruising to catch up, or consider thrusting 4k away fleeing because I have had enough of that.

I understand perfectly well. merely interjecting my opinion. i stated that it was OT that should be enough. the conclusion is forgone: they arent going to change the rule. either way is fine with me. was not singling you out in any way.
Co-incidentaly, with the ignore feature here you can wildcard ignore each letter of the alphabet if you wanted to play with younger kids here. Never did it on Disco but on another server with similar/sameish FLhook.
The whole cruise thing needs fixing, like when the KNF and AFA cruised to catch my BD character who was on thruster it was OK, but now I see someone sanctioned for what was alright for three faction members to do.

Considering how often the AFA and KNF field caps, and the fact that the AFA has only 3 people with caps, I think it prudent to ignore this.
