Well, I was flying the Donnerschlag at the time of both of these incidents. For the RepEx incident, I'm sorry if I was a little quick on the trigger. It's just that in my experience with the Thor... you can't RP much in it. I've had... many bad experiences with traders just suddenly opening fire and blowing me to pieces with no warning, not the mention the traders that call in big friends or the traders who simply F1 and the like. Also, I was kinda on the warpath at the time. I was intending on going on a hunt for those harvesters, but you just happened to pop in at the wrong time.
To the RaVeN: That was an interesting encounter that we had. I think that you really need to work on your loadout. You have Dragonflies, Blood Dragon Turrets (both of those on a Blood Dragon gunboat make sense), and... Order turrets? Please, oh please drop the Order turrets. There is no reason to have those on your ship, in RP or OORP. It's only going to end badly. I also recommend that you pay attention to the sanction forum. Apparently some members of your faction, not necessarily you, were attacking those Junkers guys that came in and broke up our fight. The entire RaVeN faction/clan is now considered hostile to Junkers. That's probably why you were so surprised that Yanagi was shooting at you. You have potential though; rarely would a gunboat stop a fight just because a fighter (a Junker no less), asked him to. Kudos to you for that.
I do find it ironically amusing, however, that now I'm being told that I don't RP enough. Back in the days of the BU (the Bundschuh that came before the VF), we got flamed for RPing too much. Eg: Propagandizing in system chat and pretty much "jamming" standard comms (the jamming was just a side effect though. I had... lots of rhetoric.)
So, once again, to reiterate, I apologize for being a little too quick to kill. I had intent to kill, but I wasn't gunning for you in particular, I was just in the mood. Zephyr, you've got potential, but you need to rethink your loadout and possibly your RP. No one knows what RaVeN really is. Are you Blood Dragons? Are you just common pirates? We need more information.
Edit: Reread the original post. A few more points to add. It was a Thor, not a Loki. If it were a Loki, the worst I could've done was been annoying and try to kill you with rhetoric. I'm also still something of an amateur with the bomber and the supernova. It's too strong sometimes, and too weak at others. When I'm fighting a gunboat, I can barely hurt him, when I'm pirating a transport... I accidentally kill them. (Did that once before. Too bad I can't use that excuse this time.)
Edit 2: Also, going to try some different tactics when it comes to interfering with the Rheinland government. Sounds like it's about time to get some more traders doing some business for us...
We are indepandant Pirates, we are in the process of getting our whole Status page together, hence the lack of knowledge on your end. However, that is how it goes in life, you learn, well, as you go...in this case as you receive fire. We pairate in the Sigma 13 area almost exclusively, as we have travelled to fill in our maps of Sirius we have pirated people to support our ships mainly. Out of Sigma 13 we really have little care. We plan to truly OWN 13 one day, like it or not, that is our goal. We will not reorganize to fit your likings, too bad, so sad. If you encounter us, we will be as we should be expected, polite, and firm. We have no fear of dying, as you saw as I sat near Yanagi soaking the patrols and even the stations fire. Also, we have little patience for others, plain and simple. You have little patience for the Rheinland Government, so you should understand this. When we say that a vessel is there to do us a service, that service comes with protection, as you learned. We will NOT brook violations of our dealings very well. We would rather make you dust and go on with our business. We have respect, and should ALWAYS have this respect. Not just for Junkers, but for ANY governing group in an area of Sirius. However, as pirates mainly we also have little use for their politics. This causes many issues. We do not tax for money then say go and I will see you on the return trip. We fight with honor, well we tax with honor as well. If we tax someone we offer 24 hours, free and clear, not just from our taxation, but from others in Sigma 13 as well. If you try to tax someone I have already taken money from and you are in Sigma 13, EXPECT to be engaged by RaVeN Vessels. That trader has paid for that service to us and WILL get it. You are welcome to cry in your life pod when it ejects, just wipe those tears away before we tractor you or you WILL BE made fun of, as we will NOT show our fear OR our backside in a fight even if we are losing. We would rather die honorably.
Your interactions tonight in my opinion were exemplatory and deserve praise. I would be honored to kill or die to you. A man with tactics and a little nerve, this is a good find.
As for my Order Turrets, they were the 'Stock' Turrets I purchased at Kyoto at the time of commissioning my Dragon Gunboat. The entire loadout is that way, actually. I have a set of other guns I am getting delivered, and these will replace the Order Turrets, and one or more of the Missile bays. Hoever, the Dealer has been unable to send the delivery vessel, and now, being as I have been, 'Evicted' from my Yanagi apartment and bay rights, I am living in my ships hold. Delivery will be a mite tricky for this reason. Until I find a friendly port of call, I am unfotunatly stuck with this loadout. If my guns are so undesirab;e to my kind, why would they be availab;e freely on the bases I am welcome at? This just seems understandable to me. If you have doubt of my word. Go to Kyoto or scan it frm Longe Range Scanners, and see if they don't sell the Order Turrets...if it is not there, it was Yanagi, and well, as you know until tonight I was welcome there. Even called it home.
I will try to answer any other questions you have. Feel free to contact me.
mwerte, on the one hand, I am happy about someone finally giving us feedback. on the other, I have to ask why you didn't post it in our feedback thread right away?
As rash stated, we have been dulled by ooRP caps and power traders of the diamond run very much. You can ask any VF member about their past experiences. Everyone of us got killed sometime by sayed BHG caps and power traders, without being warned - while typing our revolutionary RP (literally hur hur). Therefor, we only do large RP sessions when we are around in groups, where we can actually protect the one who is doing the talking and keep the potential hostiles in line.
Of course, when I am on my own and can see people on their traders who I know, there is always a bold RP going on - but If I don't know that trader, or the caps that surround me, I rather want to get it over with asap.
and this brings me to a little feedback for your faction btw: PLEASE use a different naming convention. Me and others won't bother to remember any number, so it feels like always encountering the same guy over and over again. oh and er ... please create a feedback topic! And visit ours!
