Nice to get feedback.

Some of my views:

OC and Nomads are seen many times, and they are both rather fond of frendship.

Gaians, wanting to propaganda pollution, have no real quarrel with molly movement. And actually hostility here is rather stupid.

Molly and OC alliance is rather non profitable ones. Outcasts are too far away to help, mollys are not cardi suckers so they dont need them for that either. And since OC are now frends with BAF, that alliance seems to be rather silly.

Hessians... even if they do fight corsairs, their alliance to OC os only on that grounds. Other than that, even neutrality of OC to nomads would cause lots of pain on fresh wound nomad war was.

As Blunt said, Igiss is canon here not players rp, how ever good or nice it is.

Tenacity, keep it down.

' Wrote:It seems like you're bringing up the order-liberty treaty again here...

Let me remind everyone that the cease-fire agreement between the order and liberty was merely a negotiation of areas of operation. It was intended that no order players would enter liberty systems, while no liberty players would enter order systems - the end effect of which would be no more incidents/combat between the two factions for a short period of time while we dealt with larger threats at hand. There was never an alliance or nuetrality of any sort with the exception of liberty allowing Tenabras into their space to help with nomad problems (and that was messed up by the admins, even).

Everyone took that 'treaty' way out of proportion, saying that factions were trying to force players to play their way... when they werent. Any players who violated the terms were simply forced to deal with any hostilities against them on their own.

Ever since the admins turned down the 'treaty', we've had entire fleets of osiris battleships invading new york daily. See what happens when you interfere, admins? You turn down our agreement, and suddenly there's even more OORP behavior to put up with.
That is true. In the little time I got to play with my Bs| char yesterday, I saw THREE Osirises around Toledo, 2 of which were indies! (although I think one was Tenabras) An LSF char jumped into Minor (accidentally in my opinion) and all three Osiris (one was a Bs| member, but I won't use names) started talking like they wanted to start a man-hunt! Not the best idea boys...

Admins, please, let the RP evolve! If not pure neutrality, at least let us do the cease fire treaty! Like Tenacity said, don't interfere with RP if it's going to have even worse consequences then leaving it alone.

Liberty should not be labeling the Order as terrorists anyway. After President Jacobi met Orillion, she should've pardoned the Order, not just Trent and Juni.

Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams
Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction
Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid
Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space
Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Liberty and Nomad Backstory, Very interesting - read it!

There's only one problem with the statement "what Igiss says is canon..." - Igiss is a great mod developer as plainly shown by how awesome disco is... but frankly, I find it hard to believe that any one person can know anything and everything about every faction or group in the game. I know a little bit about everyone, but by no means all of it - I've put almost all my time into the order/junkers and still dont have either of them completely figured out.

What you fail to see here is this:

Discovery mod is intelectual property of Igiss.

Be happy we are allowed to scribble over his thing so much as we are for now.

It is not the point of understanding all factions or not, its about what changes one wants to his work, or ones he doesnt.

All this give me a good idea, something only [ADMIN] can manage(sorry to give you more job),but i think thats can help a lots players.

Why not put on the Welcome page of the Website/Forum,a "Political situation of Sirius"..........

you know,a list who tell witch faction/government are ally and ennemy whit others faction/government

Im not sure how to do this, but im sure thats can be very usefull for everyone, not only the newbies

Igiss intends to keep Order and Liberty, hostile... However, the RP to back it is...non-existent, or only known by Igiss...

I may try to write up something after the mod release, or a tad before. to Explain what happened to keep the order hostile. (something written and agreed by both sides)

and dito Blunt (1st page)

PS: me and my friend entered Minor yesterday to scout, and see what the heck was happening... 3 days ago we were defeated by 3 osirises... not cool. In the span of one week, the Order has made itself a reputation as bad as the indie bhg rep... (BTW, I am NEVER saying they are all bad, bla bla... But a lot of them, just soiled all the respect I had for the Order)

Dont worry, if the ID changes go through black squadron and I intend to make sure that very few players have access to order capships. I've already spoken with some of the leaders about this, and assuming the guard ID's are required for cruisers and up - or that the new capships are sold in omicron 100 - black squadron will fully regulate who gets and doesnt get to fly anything over gunboat size. We're as frustrated with the order indy capwhores as everyone else is right now, because they are extremely OORP by even going into new york- based on the faction's background and purpose.

This is simple:

-Liberty is still pissed off at the order for stealing their fancy high-tech spacetoys.

-The Order still believes that several key members of the liberty government and military may be infected by nomad organisms.

-Liberty doesnt like the order having full access to all of their stuff in alaska, due to the back door to minor.

-Liberty is still pissed off that the order 'defected' - the original order were called "the order of cincinnatus". The order of cincinnatus were basically super-top-secret LSF... the lsf are traffic cops by comparison. The order of cincinnatus was designed to take over liberty with martial law should a serious threat to it's security ever arise, and that's exactly what they did, though they did so in the background during the nomad war as their training had prepared them for. The leaders of liberty freaked out that this super-high tech black ops group was no longer operating under their complete control, and branded them terrorists out of fear.

From what i have seen as an outcast so far: The friendship thing was getting to be too much and now the outcasts for the "most" part have backed off and cooled it down. Most are wondering just why the nomads are getting so friendly and have decided to go with a wary neutrality.

We have started enforcing a 10K no fly zone for nomads around all outcast bases and planet Malta that so far the nomads have respected.
Outcasts stay out of Omicron 90 and try to prevent others from entering it through Omicron Alpha as well as preventing the use of nomad tech.
This is a matter of self preservation for the outcasts as i see it. We have the CR raiding in Alpha as well as the Corsairs and bounty hunters, The harvesters make things interesting from time to time as well as any number of indipendant players who are just looking for PvP.
So keeping the nomads neutral is just plain smart.
Yes there are a couple of players who's RP is much more than a wary neutrality but that is their choice until an admin says otherwise.
