Yesterday was quite a busy day, so in the interests of brevity, I will not report everything that transpired.
First off, Phate and I formed up with a Rogue, Jim Black in order to destroy Dipsy, a Bounty Hunter Destroyer. Dipsy fled from California to the New York system, where we engaged him after disrupting his trade lane. Initially, the destroyer fired on Phate, however when his vessel was nearing destruction, he started targeting me, assuming my Scimitar would be an easier kill. The end result: 1 BH Destroyer experienced hull discombobulation, no friendly losses. Dipsy Dipsy Dipsy
Later, while preparing for a minor raid on Detroit Munitions, Phate and I encountered a Junker Prison Liner, Otsego's Luxuria, who filled our holds with Cardamine. As a side note, after speaking with the Luxuria, I discovered that he is operating a pleasure yacht of sorts. The vessel is also selling Cardamine at reduced rates, in case any Hackers need their Cardi fix. Anyway, after we filled our holds with Cardamine, we moved to Detroit Munitions. Numerous Ageira drones were destroyed, however, all good things must come to an end, and eventually the Navy, Police, and Bounty Hunters showed up. We departed before things could get messy.
Back in the California system, we hooked up with two other vessels to intercept the trader Gallofree. He quickly crumbled and paid out two million credits, which works out to 500 000 per allied vessel. Gallofree Gallofree Gallofree
Our crowning acheivement for the evening was our interception of John Stanton, flying an Interspace Whale, full of Luxury food. Fleeing to Los Angeles, Mr. Stanton tried to hide in the shadow of the Battleship Yukon, but even that didn't save him from our guns. Experiencing hull breaches across multiple decks, Mr. Stanton was quickly convinced that it was within his best interests to follow us. With Phate flying ahead, and myself guarding the rear, we escorted Mr. Stanton to the abandoned jump gate in the Magellan sector. Phate went to retrieve a cargo vessel, while I remained behind to guard the Interspace ship. We then took as much cargo as we could carry, and let Mr. Stanton return to Freeport 4 for repairs. John Stanton John Stanton John Stanton John Stanton John Stanton John Stanton
Oddly, while we were dealing with Mr. Stanton, a trader-chambers dropped off a load of 2600 slaves for us. Not wanting to let such a vast amount of people asphyxiate in space, we transferred those slaves to another cargo vessel. After landing my fighter, I took command of the cargo vessel, preparing to fly the slaves to Planet Malta, to work the Cardamine fields. Also, I took on a load of 880 Bounty Hunter pilots from the interrogation vessels. After the mania interrogation procedure, they were of no more use to us, so they were transferred to the Molly facilities at Arranmore, bringing us a tidy profit as well.
Trade Run Profits - 19 360 000 credits for 880 Bounty Hunter pilots, 6 011 200 credits for 2600 slaves.
Quite the day for the Lane Hackers, I'm sure the corporate flunkies will be trembling in fear once they hear of the days events.
Another somewhat large update from me - it seems I've been a bit slow at completing paperwork.
Two days ago, I encountered Benedikt Volkmann, a trader in a Firefly class vessel. A quick demand for 1.5 million credits, and I was transferred a total of 1.65 million credits into my account, with no need for shots to be fired Benedikt Volkmann
The day after, I encountered Mr. Volkmann again while on patrol. He had upgraded to a Container transport, and appeared to be flying for Ageira. This time, he had brought an escort and was not so amenable to our demands. Unfortunately, Phate and I were forced to destroy both Volkmann's vessel, and his escort. Benedikt Volkmann & Escort Benedikt Volkmann & Escort
Unfortunately, while I was in the vicinity of Freeport 4, some S/D Bounty Hunter vessels attempted to claim the Liberty bounty on Lane Hackers. I fended off Carly Denver in a Sea Serpent, and Richard Vettei in a Manta, while Phate was en route to assist me. Eventually, Carly Denver fell to my guns. S/D Carly Denver S/D Carly Denver
After Denver's demise, another S/D vessel arrived in sector, Torre Magnusson. Eventually, under combined fire from two fighters, my armor fell apart and I was forced to eject. Though, as noted in Phate's transmission, he was able to dispatch both of the remaining bounty hunter fighters.
After my release from Medical, I engaged in trade disruption operations again. I encountered a Whale transport named SzabFer, bearing a Police IFF and Trader ID, transporting Boron to the Manchester system. After completely ignoring my multiple demands, I was eventually forced to destroy this foolish trader. SzabFer SzabFer SzabFer
I returned to help Phate deal with a rather odd situation, a Waran bomber smuggling gold. He appeared to be from [lpx], a group who apparently runs trade and smuggling operations. We agreed to let him go, provided that one of his vessels shipped a full load of cardamine to us. A risky move, but we explained the consequences for crossing us, and waited for the trading vessel to arrive. [lpx]Seraphim
Eventually, the promised transport arrived, piloted by [lpx]-the_Trainman. As promised, carrying a full load of Cardamine. I returned to mactan and launched my freighter, the Corporate Calamity. A few minutes later, we were the proud owners of approximately 3300 units of Cardamine, it should keep the base happy for quite a while. The Trainman The Trainman
That cardamine shipment turned what could have been a rather lacklustre day into quite a good one.
Earlier, I was adjusting the IFF transponders on my Sabre when I heard a Navy shill chasing some of our Junker associates through Magellan. I quickly went into action, and intercepted the Naval vessel, driving him away from the Junkers. Unfortunately, my Sabre was destroyed in the fighting, but my escape pod made it to Mactan safely. The Junker Congress was grateful for my intervention. Junker Assistance
Later, after I was released from medical, I took my Scimitar on patrol. I soon came face to face with the Necrosis, piloted by Mon'Star. Fortunately, I did not need to engage this vessel, we parted ways with no shots fired, though I did need some time to settle my nerves. Encounter with the Necrosis Encounter with the Necrosis Encounter with the Necrosis
Soon after the encounter with the Necrosis, I encountered Szabfer again. As with our last encounter, I made my demands and received no response at all. A corporate drone in every sense of the word, the vessel made no attempt to evade, or respond, though it was still moving through its trade route. Flagrant disrespect for the Hackers resulted in only one possible outcome: Atomic dissolution. SzabFer Again SzabFer Again SzabFer Again SzabFer Again
Oddly, I noticed SzabFer in Magellan again, as I was powering down my fighter on Mactan. It must be a valuable trade route to keep risking ships like that.
Not much activity to report yesterday. I was able to intercept a Train carrying Niobium through the Magellan system. Despite an initial demand of 1.5 million, I was only able to obtain 500 000 credits from the trader, which i decided would be enough to let him live.
Also, I encountered Derkylos, a pilot of a Slipstream that he used for racing in the old circuit near the Hood. He invited the Hackers out there some time, wondering what good our technical skills would do on the track. It might be a good idea, the mechanics on Mactan might appreciate the chance to do something other than fixing our battle damage.
Also, for the next week or so I'll have limited flight time. Brushing up on my technical skills, which necessitates some time out of the cockpit.
First item to report is a trader that I intercepted in Manchester earlier this week. Its been a while since the event occurred, but I like to try and keep my paperwork up to date.
The vessel was a Train, hauling goods through Manchester. I managed to intercept the vessel before it reached the Cortez jump gate, and extract the appropriate payment. A sum of 1 million credits was obtained from this trader.
Earlier tonight, I was on a quick patrol with Phate, when we noticed the vessel [Wellington]Transport-1, a BMM Advanced Train. We pursued it through the Leeds jump hole, where I managed to disrupt its engines. Phate worked on extracting payment from Wellington, while I went in pursuit of a Behemoth that had just jumped through from Magellan, the Necronomicon. The trader made the smart decision, and offered little resistance, I was able to extract a sum of 1.5 million credits. Necronomicon Necronomicon Necronomicon
About the time that I finished with the Necronomicon, Phate had finished dealing with the Wellington transport, so we returned to the Magellan sector, and I proceeded to Mactan.
Yesterday, I encountered a smuggler named McSnuggles, flying under a BMM IFF. He claimed it was to more easily avoid lawful entanglements. He was carrying counterfeit software, so his explanation may check out, however I explained that it might also cause the Hackers to engage him. He gave me 1 million credits for my trouble. If any other Hackers see this vessel, do as you will. He might be friendly, but then again he might not. Thats the risk taken by not broadcasting a Hacker allied IFF signal. McSnuggles
Today, I encountered Ernst Stavro Blofeld, he was working with his bomber in the Magellan sector. He advised me of a trade convoy running to Leeds, so I flew in pursuit. Mr. Blofeld was busy with other matters, so he stayed in Magellan. I managed to intercept the trade convoy, two Transport class vessels, by hacking the trade lane ring right as they were about to pass through. I demanded 500 000 credits from each vessel, Stiernacken was able to pay, but Exe didn't have the credits. Since the two traders hadn't put up a fight, I let Exe get away with paying me 100 000 credits. Not wishing to spend any more time than necessary in Leeds, I quickly returned to the Magellan sector and docket at Mactan. Stiernacken & Exe Stiernacken & Exe Stiernacken & Exe Stiernacken & Exe Stiernacken & Exe
As a side note, my Scimitar's IFF transponder has been aligned to Guard frequencies. At this point, all of my combat vessels are broadcasting Lane Hacker Guard frequencies.

A somewhat busy morning in New York today, though unfortunately not a very profitable one.
I encountered the transport Exe near the New York -> Texas jump gate, where the vessel was apparently engaging some of our rogue allies. I demanded 500 000 credits, quite a reasonable rate considering his cargo hold full of diamonds. In any case, the transport pilot rejected my offer and tried to kill me. I was forced to enlighten him through superior firepower. Exe Exe Exe Exe
While I was dealing with this transport, a Navy pilot by the name of Krias opened fire on me. I was forced to open fire on this naval hoodlum, my Hellflurries cracked open his hull, with me sustaining no damage. Also, a Havoc bomber showed up to assist Krias, however his attacks proved ineffective. Krias Krias Destroyed Ripshock
After Krias was destroyed, [LN]David Hastings showed up and tried to arrest me. A respectable sort, for a Naval hoodlum. We conversed while Ripshock was absorbing most of my hellflurry fire. Eventually, a Navy cruiser showed up, I believe it was the LNS-Marauder, and I decided it would be in my best interests to depart the system. I hacked the Texas jumpgate and traveled through, leaving the Navy forces in my wake. Chatting with the Navy Chatting with the Navy
Hopefully next time the traders wont be as reluctant to pay.
Despite the unprofitable start to the day, my luck changed this evening. While on patrol in Magellan, I came across a Deep Space Engineering vessel hauling Polymers. Eager for the chance to leech some credits from our corporate enemies, I quickly intercepted the vessel, hacked the trade lanes and disrupted its engines. The corporate drone chose to pay me rather than deal with my Hellflurries.
There were some issues with the money transfer, the cash got sent to my Slipstream based on Leiden. Not that it matters really, I got paid in the end. It wasn't enough money to put a serious dent in DSE's activities, but every little bit helps.
As a side note, this operation increased my total credit count from piracy past the 20 million mark. To date, I have reclaimed 20 850 000 credits from these corporate villains.
