The Xenos, for far too long, have been forced to salvage whatever they can for weaponry and ships, or just stuck with their simple "Starfleas". But no more! The Xenos have been working hard gathering broken ships, and learning new skills to create a better ship. Behold the Star Streaker, a very agile, very fast fighter. Making up for lack of Armour and Weapon slots, it makes up for in superiour maneuverability. Not only is it easy to create, its also very cheap, a plus to the Xenos as they arent the most well funded Factions.
Heres some general specs:
Armour: 3450-3900 armour without any upgrades, the LSF liberator has 4800.
Impulse speed: Perhaps a 90 Impulse speed?
Weapons slots: 3 class 8 weapons, 1 class 9 weapon
CD: Available
Power Output: 7000 u, recharge 700 u <-- Will change
Maneuverability: Roughly 10% more agile than Liberator
CM/Mine: Available, mines limited by maximum power output (Someone tell me how much power a Nuclear mine would drain)
Cargo: 35 slots
Ill make a rough sketch of what it may look like later.. Ill scan it and load it up. (AM NOT ARTIST ._.)
Tell me if you think this is a good idea. Xenos need something more into RP for them, not just picking up an Ageira bomber or the like. This ship could be available at many Xeno bases in the future.
Arrow with a torp slot... man, you should fly the Hessian Loki and see how that can kill VHFs like a breeze the moment you learn how to use the razor/sunslayer on it so it hits. And then imagine how overpowered an Arrow with that ability would be.
' Wrote:Power Output: Dont know much about this-- Someone send me a PM with an output unable to fire Torpedos at all, but can recharge quickly to have energy balanced with Liberators
Can't do, most torps use no energy. Just have a CD-only slot, like most LFs.

Not true, as far as I remember, Nova Torpedoes take some energy to fire, so that little fighter can't abuse them.
Let me pull up the specs of that launcher...
DataStorm v3.91 Wrote:Price: 2170000 - ANC-1 "Nova" Antimatter Torpedo Launcher
Nova is the most devastating torpedo available to fighters in Sirius. It was recently developed by The Order as a more reliable and energy-efficient alternative to the Supernova Antimatter Cannon. Technology behind this weapon is rumored to be alien.
*Requires Nova Torpedo. Only bombers can fire this weapon.
incl. 5 X Ammo ? $10000
Refire-Rate: 4.00 = 0.25 Shots per second Power-Usage: 18,000.00
Projectile-Speed: 15
Needed Hardpoint: hp_torpedo_special_1
LifeTime: 37.50 = 563 Range
Hull-Damage: 0.00 = 0 per second
Shield-Damage: 0.00 = 0 per second
You'll need torpedoes off course, don't let the hull and shield count fool you. Not too many ships can fire the Nova, but they're usually in the VHF and higher classes. I can't remember a HF using one, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is one.

I did say "most" for a reason. Two out of three is "most". Novas are SHF/Bomber-only because of the energy requirement, even a Titan can't fire a Nova IIRC.
Not a bad idea... might be a bit rough balancing it, though.
Honestly, I'd just be happy with a properly balanced Griffin... as it is now, the Xenos have no decent LF's.
A civilian SHF would be nice too. Since Xenos can't use cap ships (and I'm perfectly fine with that.. it's how it should be) we could use a SHF's firepower...
Can you imagine fighters with Nova Launchers? *imagines battleships dying to Arrows* I shudder at the thought.
Anyway, I tried looking for the Nuclear Mine Launcher power usage on Datastorm and FLStat, but there is no data on the output... Very odd...
The ship seems to be very good, but more agile than the Liberator? A Xeno Arrow so to speak? Man, the lawfuls are going to get a tough time hitting anything now. Even me in my Liberator. Maybe the same agility of the Liberator or slightly less? I just don't see the Xenos having the capability to outdo the Liberty technology, come up close through reverse engineering, but never match or outdo. But I could be wrong...
