"yes i am an outcast, and no it was not close. If it was close i would have killed you. The reason i would kill you is because you would be no use to the pirates. Did you see his rank? Only a private and yet you say it was close? Well if only a private could do something like that, what do you think a general could do? hmmm? But it wasnt close....so therefore your not dead.....clear?"
looks around the room, everyone has left exept for himself, the starer, the bartend, and Mr. Savage.
hmmmmm
*oh and Gneisenau....your suppose to be floating outside...... but its cool just continue on :P*
"Close? Close!..." Savage looks at where the singe was, not far from the window containing his favourite liquor, he grabs DR by the shoulder, and points towards the singe, "Thats close, this bar is less than a day old and already this git over here nearly castrated my drinks!", Savage shouted...
Savage goes over to the private, he noticed that his wallet is lying next to him, stained with the blood of the weak. He picks it up and throws it over to the Bartender, "There, that will pay for the damage", he walks over to the bar where DR is, and gives him a glare, "As for you, don't threaten what you don't understand, boy, or I'll have you tied up and fed to the liberty dogs, understand?".... Savage knew what might happen next, but he was no fool. He spied a look over to the far corner, and saw a familiar face who just entered the bar unaware, there was a faint nod from the rogue.
Savage grabbed another drink and went over to one of the empty tables, keeping an eye on DR.
"You talk to me like im a fool, i am no fool...no one dare.....no one dare call me....A FOOL!! YOU WILL BE ESCORTED OUT OF HERE AT ONCE! BARTEND, GET HIM OUT OF HER HE IS A MENACE!"
Begins to talk to himself, "NO NO STOP!! THIS IS MADNESS!, DIE VERMIN!!, NO NO NO NO MUST CONTROL YOUR ANGER! HOLD IT BACK!, ANGER ANGER?!?!?! ITS HATERED!!!! AHHHHHHHH"
The creature becomes inraged and reveales his evil face of darkness!!
"ERRRAAA!!!" the creature launches out at the rogue that savage was glancing at. Sinks his hands into the rogue and watches at the body disinergrates to the floor.
Bartender runs for the door, shouting and screaming, he runs out and heads down to the corridor, looking to raise the alarm. Savage, remains seated, staring at the melting carcass of the rogue. He looked at DR, or what he thought to be human, trying to make out the gargled image in his head. It was staring at him, possibly with intent to kill. Savage pondered... it could be infection, it could be infected... He thought to himself about this, he never saw an infected person before, never knew what they looked like, but this looks extreme, this could be dangerous he thought, for not just the rogues...
This isn't the work of cadarmine either, this has to be the work of the Nomads. The creature, although still resembling human traits, but with a slightly mad look about it, was slowly approaching Savage's table. Savage stood up, took out the energy cell from his blaster, and threw it towards DR.
It was a split second moment, but it was what Savage needed. He saw how it pounced onto the rogue, cat-like reflexes, impressive indeed. But Savage was smarter, he was of stabled mind. The creature looked at the blaster with a complexion look, then, it went down. Savage always keeps a handy small minuscule neutron weapon in his sleeve. They call it the "assassins weapon". Savage aimed for the head, or what looked like the head of the former DR, and landed a spot, splitting the mad mans head apart. His blaster served as a good distraction.
The far door opened, and rogues and outcasts alike come trialling in, looking at the sheer carnage that took place. Blood splattering the wall, mutant guts over the deck.
They gave a look at Savage, not a friendly look either.. Savage presumed that they might think he's "infected"...
"I'm going to get out of here, and Bartender, be sure to have some sort of screening filter next time"...
"Where you going Savage, you can't leave yet", one of the rogues stated.
"O I'm leaving, I had a rough day and now this, by god I am leaving, in case any of you sod's have been drinking out of the same glass as this one", with that, Savage left the Bar.
He opened the side door to his ship, Wolf Claw, and stepped in. Being overly cautious, he doubled check the cargo and the back, and scanned for anything foreign within the ship itself. It was clear. He set off to Liberty space. Strangely enough, he had a overwhelming urge to report this incident to the liberty police...
If it was a nomad infection of some kind... Nah, he thought... the liberty police would be all over the badlands... Can't do that, but he knew, next time he was going back, he will have to be extra careful. He set off to outcast space, they need to be aware of this.
"Savage, halt! This is Liberty Navy, you are... he's gone!"...
Savage jumps through to California, hacking into the jump gate to allow him to pass. Has he approaches the trade lane, a long range transmission is coming through. He doesn't recognise its signature, then the code is decoded and it pops up... Its from DR.
Savage is surprised, to say the least. He presumed that DR would be dead, clearly from the wound he left him. At this point, he knew that there was more to DR than a simple infection. Could he be a pure nomad? Or something else, or just plain blessed with outcast luck. Savage scrambles the message through a communications public net system, just in-case DR tries to manipulate the transmission for his own good.
"hello freind"
"its me, DR"
"you thought you could kill me?"
"well you thought wrong"
"oh and why did you shoot at me anyway savage?"
"but nonetheless im coming after you"
"Hahahahhaha", Savage responded, as the transmission was cut.
"This is John Savage, calling Buffalo, come in please"...
"This is Buffalo, what you want Savage?"
"Tell... No, I have a better plan, never mind, Savage out"...
Savage couldn't rely on those rogues, after all, they let that mad man go...
He pops up the com's relay system, looking for a patch through to New York. He got through...
"This is John Savage, hailing liberty navy, please come in"...
"This is Officer Jenkins, what you want Savage.. You have some nerve using this com", the Navy Officer was clearly displeased.
"I have some information for you, very important information, and guess what?... Its free", Savage was enjoying this now.
"Any information you can provide Savage, will be utterly useless", the officer replied.
"Not this time... I'm sending you the details of an outcast, one that is slightly mad and there is some possibility that he's infected, thus, why I've resorted to informing you"...
"Hahah, you betraying one of your allies? And why should I believe you that this fellow is infected?"
"Can you afford not to check it out? This outcast, killed a friend of mine at Buffalo, by using some kind of acid... Not only that, but he was mad, out off it and it wasn't cardamine I tell you. You know the story's about the infected, and how it transforms them?"
"I do..."
"Well, all I can say, there's a possibility... check it out", Savage was growing impatient.
"Very well, I'll get the LSF and the Navy on it, send me the details of his name and anything else, we'll track him down, and don't.. expect any favours from us, Savage, Jenkins out"...
With that, Savage boosted up his thrusters and disengaged from the trade lane, knocking the one behind him out, he then engaged his cruiser, heading for a destination that he deemed safe. He wasn't worried, but he never had to deal with someone as mad as that. He contacted a few friends, made them aware in case liberty failed to catch the vermin.
"Contact the outcasts too, will you, find out what you can about this one and ask them if he's always mad like this.. if not, we can get them to go against him if he's... well, infected", Savage cut the transmission off to one of his associates. He smiled.
"oh look its, how many? one, five, fifteen??, twentyfour??!?!?!, f..f...fi.fiftyseven?!?!?!?!?! damnit!!!!
"lets see whos leeding them....ah its a cruiser in the middle of them...well...this is it...."
