Vanilla Kusari caps are all very sleak and in case of destroyer and battleship tall. This concept is too wide imho, while the engine thorus is too sleak. Dunno if it is a good idea to place 2 destroyer front bow elements on the side. The front reminds me onto the birdhead of the Corsair dread. On a Kusari style ship the forward bridge looks out of place and since Blood Dragons still failed to overtake the power, the traditionalistic pagode bridge fits better.
Sometimes, less detail is more. Vanilla Kusari caps are looking very stylish, but don't exploit useless design elements.
In general a promising concept, but not a Kusari cruiser. Even though it uses Kusari design elements it doesn't really match Kusari style.
its not a very ambitious concept anyway. - i have finished the ships i wanted for 4.85 - and several more, too. - this is just a spare time fun thing. if it turns out to be good.... fine. if not, it goes to the trash folder.
Well Kusari could use a cruiser/ BC yes (more a BC I'd say - without thruster).
That said I don't like this model that much... as AoM said Kusari ships are more high than wide and I don't really fancy those two things on the sides.
What about something more along the lines of the first Kusari BS mk 2 you made?
That looked kind of heavy and armored.
Igiss says: Martin, you give them a finger, they bite off your arm.
no - the BB was a aesthetic concept - and even as such a large ship, it was frail. - i ll simply revise this ship and texture it. - like i said - if it fits.. fine, if not, no prob. - but those side structures are the major part of the concept - other than those - the ship is as tall and thin as the destroyer.
but i know where you re coming from about the designs - i just don t feel like making another of those.
really, when a ship doesn t fit, its NO prob to deny it - as you remember, i had no problem with leaving the kusari BB out, even if i think the model is good - its purpose was pointless.
Not bad, looks like a combo of the dessie and the Kusari Battleship.
Perhaps the Kusari Battlecruiser?
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
edited the first post ( picture ) - but i think it doesn t look like the stylized kusari warships anymore - so that project is cancelled - gonne go to the trash folder.
