I've tried to get a trial account of eve, but i never get the mail with the account ID.
You are going to make a FL2 like the open lancer project?
This is going to be interesting. If i knew more about modding, and had free time (college and work is killing me), i would definitively join to the project.

If you look at the Gold looking ships, which would be the second row. That huge ass ship is the Avatar which is the Amarrian titan. However at the end you will see something along the lines of a sleeper ship... Just above it you will see two slug looking ships. The one the is closer to the Avatar is the one you see as the "smudge" in the screenshot.
It's not the biggest but by far is not the smallest compared to the others, yet look how big it is in my screenshot compared to the base I'm docking at and the planet in the distance.
Exactly.*

They could probably all kick somethings ass tho...

That's because those are just ****ty over embossed mono colour renditions... Not to mention the upper level which are Tier 2 ships of some have black paint jobs and other mods.
Which is why EVE would be great because ship and balance wise it's already done you DON'T need to add anything. However we could do that later on and implement a vast multitude of ships items and so forth.
Another great aspect is all the upper end ships cannot be build, but are made. You have to find the blueprints and get the skill to use them. Get the items needed to build the ship and then spend however long it takes (done with xx min per point system). This will solidify the trading aspect allowing true trading RP.
I'm a miner in one of the best mining vessels and your corp contracts me out to help farm the whatever **** you need to build your ship. You pay me and I goto work.
That's why I say we just take Eve and mod it how we will it too be. Then only thing really needed to be done is change the universe layout and make skills go by faster, then up the base price of everything.
Freelancer was a great game but it was not made of the stuff to make a second one. It lacked content and most of all a real trading system and market.
Also my specs are about 4 years old just a bunch of suped up prototype parts built for extreme temps and runs in freezing temp. Then couped with a cooling system so cold I use my computer to chill my beer and make ice cubes. 2048x1536 is my normal resolution I could go higher...*
<div align="right">*If you believed this are you this guy?</div>
Thats weird. Most Vcard RAMDAC don't allow resolutions higher than 2048x1536. Unless you have a NV quadro or ATi FireGL, you should not be able to go higher.

I reinstate the fact this is a 100% prototype experimental super computer. Only one of it's kind and it will do whatever I want it to do. I can also run and play with no lag Freelancer, EVE, and photoshop and more at once.
This computer was the pre to the 64 bit dual cores you see today, I have a triple core which never existed and my g-card has 8 heads on it instead of the standard 4 (I think it's 4).
I also have eight gigs of ram too.*

cute, I can provide the parts for a few complete PIIIs and even more PIIs how about making a few of those work together? as a few triple cores... then again, why not quad-cores?
