I don't know why I'm tempted to reinstall FL again and again, but it just happens, several times since its first release by now. Hoping to find a follow-up of FL comparable to those of the Wing Comannder series I've searched the web recently and installed some mods, but I can't even remember their names.
Mmm, ... there are mods, and there is Discovery ...
The most exciting thing about Diso are the RP rules, though it's much to read and remember. but I appreciate it. That's perhaps because I've gathered a little experience runnning a Sword & Sorcery RPG group for about 15 years, and I'm familiar with the problem of keeping the balance. As far as I got around in Sirius during the last few days it seems to me that this basic issue is pretty well solved in Disco.
I'm looking forward to more heart attacks accompanied by nervous breakdowns when one of you appears as a red mark on my radar ;-)

Hai there!
It's good to hear of dedicated RPers joining the community. And the best part of Discovery is that whatever aspect of RP you want to cover - there's probably a faction for you!
At the moment my favorite place to be is Bretonia, which is calmer than Liberty, more active than Kusari and has less power traders than Rhienland, so, yeah!
If you're interested in jumping into Bretonian RP and want to make some cash at the same time, feel free to have a look at Bowex, but then I'm sure the BAF would be happy with an extra ship in space.
Anywho, on a brighter note, welcome to the server and enjoy your stay. Whatever you do, do not join the greedy Bowex nor the cocky, tea-drinking, old woman serving BAF.
Oh yeah, read the rules too. In interest of your sanity, debate as little as possible on the forums, unless your mind is very strong.:P
