I can understand that brets and RHA have an political understanding, but there is no point within the bretonian law that permitt foreign caps to enter THEIR systems without being shot to pieces...
Now WHO can explain to me WHY 185234809809517+834570323094+1 jorms can enter "Snowdown" when they belong to a criminal faction with NO qualms about pirating Bretonian corporations the second they enter Omega 7

For instance, ive been on the sair side of this, i have yet to see anyone but SCRA bring a bomber swarm... everyone else just uses capspam to crash teh server...

I doubt the RHA have NO bombers at all, they prolly have and bombers are damn much more effective then caps, especially since one legate can easily trash a couple of jorms..

The lawful defenders have been using almost exclusively bombers lately. It's actually become a problem because we have so many bombers and not enough anti-fighter defense.

I assume you're referring to all the Hessian caps involved, but even I did shoot at that base back then with my Bowex transport, which may not have been out of my ZoI, but I agree you can call it quite oorp - I'm not proud of it at all, and I would not do it again.

However, I assume that if that base had survived the siege any longer than one afternoon I would've started asking myself what I'm actually doing there.

On a barely related note about "RP bases", I think Port Smallwood offers better RP opportunities to various parties than a secret corsair base hidden in Cambridge 60K above plain. But I suppose that's just my own opinion. *shrugs*

Right then this at the moment is just crap the corsairs are fighting at port smallwood and then half of sirus is after them. From what I know which is very little the Hessians and the SCRA hate the BAF to so why don't they just sit back and let the sairs blow up the port then kill the sairs which kills two birds with one stone. Not join with the BAF and the other friendlys that have been coming in like the IC and bowex. If you let things like this happen this generally happens.

So, the Corsairs bring a fleet to Omega 3.

Omega 3 is:
1 jump from Bretonian space
2 jumps from Rheinland space
2 jumps from the SCRA home system.

The Corsairs bring roughly 10 Legates to siege this poor level 1 base. Bretonia brings a handful of fighters. SCRA and RHA see this going on. They show up and see the carnage. Now, with both fleets being 2 jumps from their home, who would be a bigger threat? The 10 dreadnoughts, or a handful of fighters/bombers?

Even if Bretonia was the bigger threat, both factions hate the Corsairs more. Besides, Bretonia is currently drawing the fire from Gallia. If we weaken Bretonia more, then Gallia will break through and come after us instead. Now isn't that a great idea?

And if you're mad about the server crashing and stopping your progress, maybe you should, and this is a crazy idea, I know, stop attacking the base? :ohmy:I know I know, quite the insane idea, but just think about how that small RP platform in Omega 3 will completely ruin the Corsair's RP if it stays. But you know, maybe it wont?

I have to say what we just saw in O3 was sort of cheap on the Corsairs part. See Bretonians show up, Cloak, Log fighters, Return to battle.

It was funny as hell watching 10 Legates turn tail and run from a few bombers. Next time I'm going to turn on FRAPS and set the video of all those caps running to the Benny Hill theme or something.
