Konnichiwa brothers, a further coup in our diplomatic standing within Kusari, we have been invited to join the Kusari Communications network, consisting of all right thinking Factions within our system.
Please would you take the time to visit this Forum and Register yourselves? It is is a valuable resource for information into the interior of Kusari politics and machinations. As well as normal trade and activities, The Bureau are understandably interested in any information that can be gleaned here.

I am in the process of registering to the Kusari Communications Network. It seems they won't just let anyone apply. These channels will greatly help maintain our influence in Kusari..
On a more frustrating note. Today I have encountered enough Gaijin traders to earn a passage aboard the Golden Dragon. The mere frustration these gaijin cause is quite unhealthy. It takes quite the nerve to not simply deal with the gaijin with force. Most of these Gaijin are simply ignorant of our laws. A lesson I think better learned when under the fire of my weapons. I have been too respectful of these foreign invaders, trying to uphold an image for the Black Dragons as the Guardians of Kusari. Clearly, this image is wrong. We are the Guardians of the Kusari people, not of entrepreneurs seeking to cripple our beliefs and heritage for their quick dollar. Not one gaijin, who did co-operate, and was directed towards a legal means of licensing in our laws has yet took it upon themselves to follow my advice.
I request that ANY gaijin seen trading restricted exports, be listed here, so I may take it upon myself to "teach" them these laws. Even if they co-operate, ignorance is not an excuse.
What troubles me the most is that KNOWN kusari smugglers, ones that have been blacklisted in the codex are still managing to slip through our systems.
Luckily, a the KNF gunboat, Soukyoku was able to intercept him at Kyushu. The scum immediatly began to flee towards the New tokyo jumphole. I was able to cut him off, yet he was able to make the jump to new tokyo.
Here is the troubling part.
He proceeded to dock at Kabukicho Depot!
I have no doubt in my mind that the trader met a swift death (//LOL I WISH THIS OORP actions are quite nerve wracking*) by the Hogoshan security.
How is it that a known Kusari smuggler is able to dock aboard one of our stations. I should hope that those in charge of docking procedures on Kabukicho will undergo a radical... training session, in order to ensure this does not happen again.
Also, I will personally consider stinger[T] a hostile threat to Kusari, until he purchases an export license. Zoner's are far from neutral if they continue to bring supplies to Bretonia.
Even if they claim their supplies are headed towards one of their bases, how are we to track that it does not end up in the hands of our enemies? Travel to zoner bases is far to great to monitor. We have no garuntee these independant zoners are as trustworthy as the TAZ. Even then, are these traders able to resist pirates? Or maybe comendeering of their supplies by Bretonian forces? These traders are creating very realistic threats with their trades, ones that we cannot allow to continue, not only in order to protect the people of Kusari, but to protect our interests as the Hogoshan syndicate.

I feel your frustration brother, but don't let it cloud your judgement.
There are so many traders, smugglers and bandits it seems these days in Kusari and so few of us determined to police it, at times it can seem like a thankless task but I take comfort in the knowledge that we work for the good of the empire and its citizens and that one day we will be acknowledged as the true heroes of Kusari.
I take heart also from the recent surge of interest by a new generation of Kusari who must have seen the good work we are doing in the Society and are begging to sign up.

Konnichiwa, brothers; today is a good day. Our ranks have been bolstered as Takahashi Ken'ichi has join our family. He has shown Hakatoa Yamota and myself that he is a man of honour. He comes from a family of samurai, but this ronin has chosen to grace us with his presence. Because he is of such pure blood lines, I ask that we keep him away from the gaijin; there's no use fuddling up a useful Kobun. I ask everyone to keep an eye on him until he takes a life; I'm tired of KNF sending us their shinobi. I humbly request that you see to it that this Kobun, as well as all the rest of them, are fully trained in combat piloting.

Today has been a quite day in Kusari, I don't remember seeing a Blood Dragon, I've chased off only a couple of Junkers and other than a couple of freelance pirates there has been nothing of note.
One of the pirates was one I have spoken of before named "Job", he is a persistant freelance pirate who has no faction or loyalties which makes it incredible that he is now flying around in a corsair gunboat with order turrets and showing a Junker IFF signal. Luckily there was an impressive showing of KSP and KNF players and his ship was first booted out of New Tokyo where he was harrassing traders and then later on from Honshu, he just doesn't get the message!
I have had a chance to spend quite a while with our latest brother, Takahashi Ken'ichi and I am happy to report that he is eager to learn. I have also lent him enough credits to purchase a "Big Dragon" and to equip it with decent shields and weapons. This is a loan without any interest and he can pay me back as and when he can, but if he shows as much promise as I suspect he will soon have the money.
Maybe we should have some sort of "fund" to help our new pilots?

Konnichiwa Eldars. It has been quite some time since I've reported my actions in space. My supply runs to the corsairs have been relatively uneventful. I bring back military supplies, and artifacts on a regular basis to strengthen our syndicate. As you will see, using this assets, I have been quite busy in defending our homeland against the gaijin invaders.
I will keep things short, as they do not need much explaining except for my most recent encounter. As most patrols start, I encountered a plutonium smuggler who co-operated.. These gaijin are very time consuming, and although I let them off freely in hopes they will supply our samurai with credits in purchasing a license they continue to be ignorant of our laws. I feel stronger measures are needed, and I will begin fining those who break the export laws. Not only do they break the laws of our nation, flaunting disrespect to our people, but they waste MY time. And my time is quite a commodity.
Then, an arrogant junker appeared in our system. I chased him towards Honshu, where he tried to run far into the sector.. Only to become a floating pod in the cold recesses of space, even farther from civilization as each second went by running away. These gaijin are like rats. At the first sign of a purging fire, they run to the nearest hole.
Another plutonium smuggler was caught on my return to Kyushu.. Although this gaijin was quite respectful. It was a pleasant change from the usual *Kusari explitives*.
Although, he did manage to escape. Not because he was able to escape my grasp, but because during our conversation I had to direct my attention to an old friend.. This man, a known Kusari criminal seems to be unable to drop his habit. His habit you ask? Destruction at the ends of my supernova.
Another smuggler, who according to my knowledge CONTINUES to attempt to smuggle plutonium through our system. These IMT traders are beginning to get on my nerves. No only do some of their.. employees continually break our laws, although, some [//1 person -_-] have purchased a license- but they have the nerve to bring Cruiser class ships through our system for reasons of "escorting." A strange waste in resources.. But it makes me feel uneasy that a ship of that class freely roams the system. He did not seem to understand the problem, needing registration from the KNF.. If it wasn't for their co-operation, perhaps I would have gotten a chance at my first cruiser kill.. Be on the lookout for the IMT traders.. In my eyes, they are already on thin ice..
What follows is a trader, who was exporting some kind of commodity to Shikoku. He was quite disrespectful when I asked him his destination. It seemed to him I had no business knowing his affairs in our space.. I let him pass, as I was distracted in yelling at a bounty hunter who passed by our system, claiming he need to clean up the Blood dragon problem. Despicable, he did not think we could handle the problem ourselves.. He was probably headed to the Sigmas.. I suggest we meet bounty hunters, who do not understand their jurisdiction, with our own method of removal. We have a delicate business with... understanding allies in our government. We do not need trigger happy "yockels" running around chipping away at the foundation we've created...
Needless to say, this trader openly attacked Kusari on the systems comms as he departed to Shikoku. A very bad mistake.
Another smuggler, with a peculiar habit of wanted destruction by our hands. The KNF were quite happy assisting us in destroying this junker rat.
Next a Bowex tagged trader entered our system. Although he claimed it was an error in his IFF.. An unlikely story. Nevertheless he co-operated, I was feeling quite generous after accepting a donation to the Kusari people from him. Next trader, claiming the same problem won't be so lucky.
This is mostly the uneventful, daily routine that I have remembered to take gun cam pictures of to illustrate the every growing problem of foreign invaders. I will continue my patrols. We are the guardians of Kusari.. And after continued work in protecting Kusari, I have finally been recognized, as a Guard of the Hogoshan people.
This last encounter was unique. This republican trader openly attacked Hogoshan honor and mocked our efforts in protecting Kusari.. He felt our methods were too... hostile. Chikushou! This gaijin has no respect for our efforts. Our syndicate is complex, and is a necessary front in the Kusari way of life. He was well versed in Kusari affairs.. Uneasily so, for a simple trader. I suspect there is much more to this man than first meets the eye. I usher all Hogosha to remember the name Captain Stauffenback, who pilots a Camara freighter Phaethon.
I was patient with the man. However, his continued attitude left me no choice. Even though I detected multiple life signs of what appeared to be a family.. He left me with no choice but to act against his disrespectful mouth.
Outside of Shinagwa station, I proceeded to sear his ship with our plasma. He was a skilled pilot, able to evade some of my gunfire. Much more than I can say for most traders. His attempts at escaping proved futile. Disrupting any trade lane he attempted to dock, his ship was beginning to buckle. Shinagawa however offered him safe haven.. They didn't enjoy being held back on Trade land repairs. Blasted Kishiro. I warned the trader, that the Hogosha will have their eyes on him. I suspect even now that he is being watched, as his ship makes repairs.
Kishiro is quite disturbed, knocking back schedualed trade convoys.. And I will have to do some.. Explaining.. Luckily this can all be fixed with a friendly reminder to the Kishiro of their place. Not to mention a nice gift to their corporate pockets. Although, I can't help but feel this is what the gaijin simply wanted.
I will pay any Hogosha personally in monitoring this gaijin.. If he happens to have an "accident" in our space at the hands of my brethren, I will give you 5 million credits. I realize you all have a duty to Kusari, but this incident is personal to me. Consider this as an incentive.

Konnichiwa, brothers. Today is a good day. Our society has grown quite nicely as of late. It is my pleasure to welcome both Kuro Aki and Sen'shi Kyokutei as our brothers. They have both joined Takahashi Ken'ichi as our newest Kobuns. I do warn you; disappoint me in anyway and you will not live long enough to regret it. All Hogosha are to watch these two and keep them in line.
I also wish to mention one of our more notable konbuns, Hakatoa Yamota. He's efforts have caught the eye of both myself and our Wakagashira. Mazakatu Nagumo has personally requested to me that this kobun become a Fuku-Honbucho under him. With this, Nagumo's efforts can be spread to the whole society and all of Kusari can be under his watchful vigilance. Thus it has been agreed that Hakatoa Yamota become a Fuku-Honbucho among our society.

Today is a good day indeed, and it is good to see Hakatoa Yamota's hard work being recognised, he is a fine example of an Hogosha and an example to us all, the elders have made a great choice.
I also wish to congratulate our newest recruits and look forward to working with them all and if any of you need any help, just let me know.
I have good news also from last patrol...
There was a lot of Ionic turbulance yesterday but in-between this I heard a communication between those evil Blood Dragons that call themselves [Sentai-86] a skilled and brave pilot, Akishino Kyokutei already dispatched one of them as I was en-route and when I arrived upon the scene his supplies must have been running low from battling two Blood Dragons. I assisted him in bringing down this second enemy of Kusari.
I look forward to seeing our newest recruits develop into trained members of the society.

Konnichiwa fellow Brethren and Elders, I have an alert message to forward.
I was wandering through the New Tokyo system and passed Shinagawa Station to hail a Kusari Samurai. I then proceeded to dock with the trade-lane towards the Honshu jumpgate when my destination was aborted by two Golden Chrysanthemums who belonged to a group known as "Kiretsu". My initial concern was for the Samurai, for I could not spot him on my scanners, yet I was absolutely sure he took the same path as me. Regardless, I focused now my attention on these two pests who did not hesitate to bad-mouth my presence. As we exchanged verbal insults, another hostile emerged on the scanners, this time it was a Blood Dragon that belonged to a group known as "Sentai", furthermore it was piloting a Gunboat-class vessel.
By now the hostiles had reached a distance of 3K and were prepared to attack. However, I openly expressed my evaluation on the situation and attempted to escape due to being outnumbered. It became obvious that the two Ladies were in a state of frenzy and demanded that the Blood Dragon Gunboat to stand back in order to provoke me into a battle. I had doubts to accept their challenge but received confidence when my brother Hakatoa Yamota recognized my emergency and was heading his way to assist.
The battle had now begun and I was fighting two Kiretsu Eagles. Interestingly enough one of them had forgot to purchase extra repairs and was carrying zero nanobots. I decided to target that enemy first but the Lady managed to dodge with exceptional grace and I had trouble hitting the vessel.
Few minutes passed and Hakatoa had now reached the scene. My courageous brother did not hesitate one second and immediately jumped into the heated battle. Both sides were of equal strength as there appeared to be a "dead-lock" were no party advanced. The Blood Dragon could not control his fury any longer and decided to engage thus breaking the promise he made to the Kiretsu Ladies. This event proved just how dishonorable Blood Dragons can be, not only against their enemies but against their allies too.
The skirmish continued but an unexpected hostile had spotted the battle and decided to engage too. This was no regular enemy, it was infact a Junker Gunboat! Both me and brother Hakatoa were shocked by his presence. How could a Junker, let alone a Gunboat enter New Tokyo, the very heart of Kusari, without being detected? A question that I'm still pondering about as I'm sitting here inside Kabukicho Depot.
Camera shot from the battle:
As you can see the Kusari Law Enforcement mistook me for an enemy, probably due to the confusion spawned by the battle. But fortunately I managed to clear out the whole mess at Planet New Tokyo. (//NPC's being red)
Finally the Junkers have shown their true colors. We have always known that they were a bad influence to Kusari but it was very hard to prove our claims. Now we have evidence, they openly assisted a Blood Dragon and two Golden Chrysanthemums to attack us at the Capital system of Kusari! Surely the Kusari law enforcement will now recognize our concerns of the Junkers and ban their presence.

Brothers, I fear that our these recent events represent an unacceptable threat to our operations.
I must apologize for my recent silence, as I have been personally investigating some troubling allegations regarding our docking security here at Kabukicho depot. In related news, I am afraid I must report the loss of one of our junior security officers in a tragic airlock accident . . . Currently our systems do not allow the automatic lock-out of docking vessels that do not register hostile through standard IFF transponder codes. I believe, however, that our docking security personnel will be more attentive in this area in the future.
On a lighter note, I would like to welcome Hakatoa Yamota to the officer's ranks. I have personally observed the skill and honour with which you conduct yourself in combat, and congratulate you on this long-deserved promotion.
At this time I would like to turn to Elder Ruuku Ochi's suggestion that we create a formalised training program for the Black Dragon Society (supported by Elder Takata Ran also). As we have the official endorsement of the Elders, I am announcing that we will begin the training sessions as soon as possible. All Kobun will be required to participate, and all members are encouraged to be involved. Please check in with your availability.
As I know of no finer pilot, I would like our new Fuku-Honbucho, Hakatoa Yamota, to oversee and lead these training sessions. I am even eager myself to learn from his skill; it has been too long since I last honed my skills.
Increased training and militarization is the only answer to the belligerence of our enemies and rivals.
