ooc: in the spirit of roleplaying, which is what this server and community is all about, i would like all of our new guys to start developing their own characters as time progresses.
Aeon: High Chancellor of the SCRA. inherited the position from his father at a young age. hence Aggelos was the faction regent for many years until Aeon was old enough to take the reins of power. he tends to be diplomatic on the surface, but Aeon can get real dirty fast if provoked. he has an underlying dark side that few people have seen, nor want to see. being somewhat of a recluse, he prefers to be alone with his thoughts in his personal quarters on the Dreadnought.
Colonel Frederick Stopford: an ex-Bretonian Armed Forces marine and inteligencer and a proud turncoat, Stopford "loves the smell of napalm in the morning." enough said.
Lieutenant Nicator loves his time alone on long-range patrol. He has a passion for astronomy and mapping, and was born to pure coalition heritage on planet Gran Canaria. going back farther than anyone can remember, Nicator's family has "pure blood", and many of the big-cheeses up high have their eyes on the young ace. Nicator has over 250 kills to his name, a number that continues to grow as the young man ages and gains experience. Kills include multiple aces from the BAF, sso|, and others.
Captain Janath is an aggressive and vivacious personality who has a personal vendetta against the Colonial Remnant who, in his words, "infest Bretonia like vermin and just keep coming back for more." Janath was born to a Zoner family on freeport 5. he grew up with an abusive and rarely present father until, at the age of 18, killed his father, took his ship and went freelancing for several years. after cooling down, he payed his way into the SCRA and now commands the Protreptic.
those are my four SCRA characters, so there you have it. its nice to have a pilot name or character name to refer to when posting, instead of ship names. it seems more personal that way, you know?
you dont always need to post as one character. this is an rp forum, so have fun!
EDIT: edited for more detail to match koolmo's koolness...
OOC: well, I'll do all my chars, but its a long list...
Mcintosh: Grand Admiral of the SCRA and commander of the RACS Terra, an ex-BAF officer who defected with Frog and several others back before Aeon became chancellor. He worked his way through the ranks and replaced the old grand admiral when Aeon became chancellor. A Violent, unstable phycopath, he has nearly 3000 kills to his name, in addition to the deaths caused by his violent underlings. Most of his kills have been from the bridge of his various capital ships however, he was never one to engage in fighter combat.
Captain Frog: An excellent pilot in his youth, who destroyed his mind with recreational drugs while at the BAF military academy. Upon the Defections, he joined the SCRA with Mcintosh and became a top ace, defying death in those early days of wanton destruction. He was believed lost nearly 10 years ago, after the final battle with the old RM, and has only recently reappeared. He now Commands a Light Cruiser, and is assigned to the Tactical Support Flotilla, with Captain Janath of the Protreptic.
Victory: An Intellignece Gunboat currently assigned to the Western Fleet, everything else about this vessel is classified. He is Assuredly of direct Coalition descent however, and is a menace to fighters.
Lt-Commander Totenkopt: A former Rhineland Military Commander, Totenkopt was assigned to a task force aimed at destroying the Hessian Threat in southern Rhineland. The task force was destroyed by a vicious ambush, and Totenkopt was the remaining ranking officer of a crew of nearly 3000. He recieved horrible facial burns during the battle, and was placed in command of a Flotilla for long range reconassance of GMG bases during the 80 years war. He vanished shortly after departing Rhineland, and reappeared among the SCRA, leading a Long range patrol squadron in the eastern sector. His ship appears to posess alien technologies, and noone has seen his face since he left Rhineland.
Major Bigeard: Commander of the RABV Dien.Bien.Phu, a man of uncertain origins who found his love in hand to hand combat. He commands the Elite Raiding company of Revolutionary Army Marines aboard the Dien Bien Phu. He was a founding member of the Raiders, and has been in every major action the marines have been deployed in, as well as many of the minor ones. He is the most decorated living RA Marine, but lacks high rank due to his inability to stay away from combat, and his penchant for bar fights.
Jack Handey Wrote:I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
Admiral James Anthony "Ant": Original Captain of the Liberty Assault Frigate Antarg. As an agent for the SCRA, arranged for the "liberation" of the Antarg from the Liberty Navy during radiation field trials.
Crew whose loyalty could be depended on were arranged to be aboard at the time by a well placed bribe at Liberty Naval HQ.
After promotion to Admiral, he took over command of the SCRA Corsair Dreadnaught Procrastinator.
Commodore Hermes Solaris: Briefly in command of the Antarg, Solaris had a relatively short stay in command, and is currently being held in protective detention.
His brief stay at the helm was unusual in that he had a tendency to grip the arms of his chair tightly while nervous.
Unfortunately the communications controls are built into the arms of the command chair, so at times conversation on the bridge was broadcast on open channels.
His previous command was of a Sirius customs outpost(location unknown), where something happened...
Commodore Greer Morkis: Current Commodore on the Frigate Antarg.
He began SCRA service as a green recruit who has worked his way through the ranks. He was promoted to Commodore in light of his service when Solaris became incapacitated.

Re: Treasury report
New fundraising efforts have brought close to 400 million credits into our hands.
This has been earmarked for a special project and should not be considered petty cash.
Born on Planet Cambridge, attended the SCRA Military Academy on Planet Gran Canaria. After graduation, he was given a Colonial Viper heavy fighter the "vampyre". Current location is somewhere in the Omega systems.

Excellent work Nussebull, We now would like you to withdraw into omega-7 and Stuttgart after dropping off your new acquisitions at fleet command. Perhaps a tete-a-tete with some Rheinlanders in those systems would be in order.
Admiral Ant, We congratulate you on your industrious efforts for the faction. 400million credits will go a long way for us.

Gentlemen,
I would like to to request temporary safe passage for CR Ambassador Nicolos Gideon through Omega-49 space and controlled approaches. The Ambassador is currently berthed on the Gemenon Traveller.
I would like to engage the Ambassador in some informal discussions (and not a few mint julips) at a neutral location. (Veranda Incognita as a guest of Pops Waverly.)
Upon the granting of temporary safe passage, I will contact the Ambassador to work out the details.
You gentlemen are also invited.. strictly informal, nothing binding.
Please advise soonest.
Regardies,
Mal, Spiritual Advisor cum Amateur Diplomat, ELF
This is Mcnitosh. Good Job today Captain Nussebull, those RM will think twice about engaging the SCRA. As for the CUFF, engage if you deem it prudent, or if they attack you.
Mr. Malaclypse, I belive that the Gemenon Traveller, and that vessel only, could be granted safe passage through our space for the next 72 hours, provided it has no escorts and does not attempt to harass us or aquire intellignence. As for us, I believe I could make it as well, although I cannot act or answer for the Chancellor
On another note, rank signiatures are avalable Here, disregard the thing about custom ones, I have no idea where nemik went, so we're all using stock one for now.
Oh, and I'm pleased to announce that we have all been approved to carry Nomad bits by the Nomad Transport Ban Association. I will e covering the cost for all involved. (read: Ant, I'm paying for you. Anyone else have a Trader they want lisenced, let me know and i'll cover you.)
