' Wrote:Looks good. I laughed when I saw "Liberty", "Lawful", and "SCRA" though:P. I can't see everyone with a character posting theirs on the wiki, though.
Shh, actually, the SCRA IS lawful. It's just at war with pretty much everybody else;). And "Origin" means "Place of birth". So the combination is actually perfectly fine.
I know that most people won't put their characters into the wiki; the template is mainly meant for high-level PCs like the Gottkanzler, President Powell (btw, soon Liberty'll get a new president unless Powell declares martial law:)), various faction leaders and such, even though I'd encourage anyone willing to put some effort into it to create a page for their characters as well.
Edit: Ew. AnyONE, not anyTHING. You're no robots, ain't you?
Yeah, I can see characters with effort put into 'em like Mon'Star going on the wiki, but small characters with few hours spent on them, such as my own, will probably not get posted there. It's up to the owners of the characters to post theirs, anyway.

As a request, could the list of guns be organized by type? Particle, Tachyon, Laser, Photon, and Pulse? That would be a great help.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
I think that would be wonderful. I believe the rest of the editors would agree with me as well, we are always looking for more contributions that will benefit the community and I believe this definitely falls under that category. anyone have anything they would like to add?
I was unaware of the existence of this thread and it's too long to review fully, but I'll try to pick up from these most recent posts.
First of all, though, I would like to make a general statement regarding the wiki concering the age-old Wikipedia slogan: "Be bold." I feel we should follow that sentiment. If you feel something should be added to the wiki, add it. If you feel something should be changed, change it. Even if you don't feel like you're familiar enough with wiki markup or conventions, it is better that you go out on a limb and follow your instinct and let those with some more experience sort out anything that needs sorting out later.

I agree with tazuras.
In my opinion any information (at least stickies and other golden threads and posts) that can be found on the forums should be on the wiki in some form. It makes it more useful as a consolidated information resource; jumping between the forum and wiki isn't particularly convenient.
On that note and with the assumption that this opinion is not too sparse, I would like to welcome anyone to port forum threads to the wiki. Again, even if you don't feel qualified. You can add a note on "Pages to be edited later" or you can create the page and just copy-paste from the forum and put a note in the edit summary (just below the main text box). Or you could poke someone else to do it by posting here or anywhere a wiki contributor might glance.
Most of the regular wiki contributors eye the list of recent changes quite often, so the safest bet to be heard regarding the wiki is to do something on the wiki. Some of us have our Skype handles listed on our user pages, too, and that might be more comfortable to use for some of you. If you are unsure of how to find those user pages, check the Recent changes page. Some (most, really) haven't created user pages, those names are shown red, but many of them you'll still recognize and can probably figure out how to contact some other way. At the moment, the most recent changes were made by: LA-384, Mule, Jamez, Zelot, Saheto, Asbestos, and Tumbe-Weed. I'm sure you recognize most, if not all, of those even if only Tumble-Weed has a page with contact details.
That's the end of that, I'm off to have fun with a 16MB log file now.
Now that 4.85 is out, we'll need a lot of people to update the Wiki articles.
