I'd go for SynthFood|Botulism, Ptomaine, Salmonella, Soylent.Green, e-coli, baccilus - you know, all the things you actually get when you EAT synth paste...

Who wouldn't rember pirating SynthFood|E-Coli....

But seriously though, I do think going from numbers to names is better. Those of us who are supposed to escort your ships don't know who the heck you are most of the time.

The intention was to name them either Libertonian or Rheinland. That leaves, say Kusari, out of the loop and may stress out LWB. They dont want to think that they're doing worse job than their Kusari counterparts. (but they do, get government support and then we'll talk:P) So really it leaves my in confusion.

But blunt, there sure are Synth Foods in Bretonia. Not as established entity, not as a common place to buy cafe at, but the transports do come there from Cortez and Magellan, hence the NPCs there. No harm in dealing some food, good for war effort too, right?

I dont understand what troubles you about us coming there, but think about this from a different perspective. Our trade routes are very limited. You cannot go to Liberty from Stuttgart or from Honshu to Bretonia. If we'd stopped going to Bretonia we'd loose the only source of income that we have - Luxury Foods (shetland is very important for importing luxury goods and passengers as well). That would leave us with virtually two runs both leading to Ropponogi. And lets be honest, Synth Paste doesn't pay much.

Now I never had intention of naming Synth Foods convoys Bretonian, even though my character (Graham Knight, borned on Leeds) flying Pensylvannia does sound out of the loop, no Bretonian names will be taken, that's for sure (except maybe for Plymount, but that goes both ways).

I think its perfectly fine that we come to Bretonia for occasional trade run. Whether its L.Consumer Goods or Synth Paste to BPA Newgate. Food companies in Bretonia are already existant and strong within the local market. Those companies aren't marked in NPC factions, but that doesn't mean that they dont exist. Some actually even do. Take Samura for example. They use Alien Organisms from Kurile to fuel their fish plants on Planet Junyo. One of the reasons why it is hard for Synth Foods to get to L.Foods market in the area.

I hope we understand each other, I wouldnt like any grudge to be among us, blunt.

I thought the situation was that there was no synth paste *production* in Bretonia? Synth would ship it there, but it would be an import in any case. Right?

Nope, Bretonia doesn't import synth paste. Slightly veering off topic, but that is the main reason for the existence of Planetform. Bretonia didn't want to rely on synthetics, so relies on Cambridge's farms, and, knowing that this won't last with population growth, have created Planetform, to make more farms elsewhere.
