Well, I just got one yesterday, and you're right. It has THE best turning radius in the mod, and the same guns as a VHF. It does have the disadvantage of being huge however, so attacking a capship in it is suicide.

Yes, I know, but attacking a capship head-on is a suicide for anything, and with that agility it has, it can dodge, believe me.
There's nothing anyone can say in it's defense to stay the way it is. And it's not bigger than a Titan, not much anyway, if it is. Everything seems to be fine except the agility, that's the only thing that needs reducing and reclassifying it to a VHF.
It's really lame to say 'Don't post it, yes, it needs nerfing but don't post, everyone will get it' (not you Koolmo who said it, it's the guy who probably told you) then the next morning I find 3 ships docking at Altenburg to do what? Most probably buy the Kiith Somtaaw HF. We would have just seen one morning two factions only flying that thing beating the crap out of everyone else. How long before someone decided to go and see what are you all flying?
Besides, RP ways, none, the SCRA nor the RO should be able to dock at Altenburg (Rheinland Battleship in Dresden) to buy it anyway, read the infocards when you buy stuff. At least SCRA is hostile to RM if I remember correctly... or did you just change that? But that's for some other topic, not this one, this is bugs reports and suggestions.

Haha. we're Unfriendly to RM now, and the reason I considered that craft appropriate was because the character who flies it is retired RM. Im thinking of getting rid of it though, because its just sooo ugly. And there were only 2 of us buying it at Altenburg.
And you're right, it really is undefendable, that thing kicks everything it touches, it makes me feel like im flying a bumblebee. It even looks like one... I'm fully in favour of fixing it, this mod IS about balance. If the guns were brought down to LF levels, I think it could keep the agility. There are enough VHF's out there, we don't need another. Why not another LF?

Why not LF? -It's too big for a LF. Other than that, it may require less work to just change the numbers for the agility. And the LFs are enough overpowered as is with this so agile and some lvl 9 and 8 guns... - way overpowered too.
Generally, all the class 9 LFs are overpowered, it shouldn't be possible for one single LF to take down a HF (at least it should be very hard) let alone take down a MKII VHF or a bomber. All the HFs are underpowered compared to a Slipstream for example.
The biggest problem is that the people aren't reporting the bugs but instead keep quiet. No problem, don't post publicly if you don't want. At least send it to Igiss or the admins. I don't know, just don't keep quiet about it, I'm sure no one would like to get owned every time by a buggy ship. Besides it doesn't show the skill, it shows how low can someone go just to win and brag after that. True skill is being equally good in any ship, not just the buggy ones. But I digress again, sorry people.

I think in the freelancer manual it says VHF's are for killing freighters, LF's are for killing VHF's and Freighters can kill LF's because they dont have enough power to kill a freighter.
I am aware that the balance has changed since then but.....
McNeo, you are right up to a point, note that it is done in numbers, I'm talking about a 1 on 1 fight here. I don't have anything against 2 of those taking a VHF down with some work, it's the way it should be.
At the moment, a single Slipstream or Cylon (I know it's a HF, just the agility and the hitbox problem - wings still don't take damage, but it was reported \I think) can engage a group of 5 VHFs and play around with them, even taking one or two down if he's lucky.

But the point of LF's is to carry a battle, without being able to really do excessive damage. a VHF shouldn't be able to hold one in its itbox for long enough to damage it.

Koolmo, you just agreed with a part of what I said. I'm generally OK with the agility given one condition - less firepower. Now for the second part:
Note that I used the word 'overpowered' too, not only 'agility'. The agility would be OK if they didn't carry, for example 2xClass9+2xClass8+2xClass6 Gun/Missile mounts + a torpedo mount. You can attack anything in that and damage it good, depends on the loadout, but we know what people generally mount, regardless of faction RP.

Aside from the whole LF vs. VHF discussion going on here...
I've noticed some small issues with the Behemoth. The Behemoth is roughly 3 million credits more expensive than the Luxury Liner, but it has less weapon mounts, a slightly smaller cargo hold, and not even half of the armor that a Luxury Liner has.
I'm thinking that either the price should be reduced, the cargo hold increased, or the armor increased. Personally, I think that increasing the armor would be best. That thing (along with most other Rheinland ships) just screams "Thick, impenetrable armor".
------ EDIT: Okay, in light of these new discoveries in the Homeworld ships, I went into SP and tested out each one of them. Yes, the Kiith Somtaaw HF is very agile for its class and size, but what I noticed most was the Kadesh HF. If you thought the Kiith Somtaaw was bad, try this one on for size:
Kadesh HF, sold on Battleship Karlsruhe in Frankfurt, has six Class 9 gun mounts and a Class 9 shield mount, as well. And it's more agile than a friggin' Starflier. See for yourself, it outshines the Kiith Somtaaw HF in turn rate by a longshot. Something definitely needs to be done about both of these ships.
I'm not yet done testing out every single one of them, but I'll post again if I find another Homeworld ship that doesn't quite fit in its class.
EDIT AGAIN: Okay, now I'm just going to make a list of some of my observations here: Kadesh HF: Way, way too agile (as stated above). Kadesh Freighter: About as agile as your standard HF. Kushan VHF: Also about as agile as your standard HF. Kiith Somtaaw SHF: A teensy bit too agile for something classed as a "Super" Heavy Fighter.
That's what I found. Mind you, I didn't go looking into power output, weapons classes, hitboxes and the like; just agility. If you want to look into the rest of the stats, well, that's up to you.
