People, he doesn't like the looks. Arguing with him isn't productive. Also, Clarkie, he said he doesn't like the Eagle either. Why, I have no idea, but he doesn't.


You do have some other options that shouldn't require any special RP.

The Virage, Charon, and Marauder are probably the easiest non-BHG ships to justify outside of the Eagle (which I used to use, but BHG| doesn't allow it). The Zoners sell the Virage and Marauder, the latter's infocard even says that anyone who can afford it can buy it. The Charon is a civilian ship built by the IMG and sold to the general public.

The Crow and Raven's Talon are also options, but they tend to have pirate connotations. They are civilian or equivalent, however. Keep in mind that everyone and their dog has a Raven's Talon.

Try some of the homeworld series ships. To me, they look absolutely ugly, like ten times more than anything else. You might like the looks, who knows.

The truth is: The idea of Elliot.Belt is old. I know him since 30 years. Elliot Belt was a counterpart of Lucky Luke, and i read this cool comic strip at first, as i was 8 years old.
That was my picture of a bounter hunter. Everytime. A few month ago, i read a discussion in forums here, about the nature of a bounty hunter. I read the comic again, and posted a few cents. Someone answered, that it is a nice idea of a character, and a idea came into my mind - why not be a bounty hunter.

Because i have a clear shape of the core of this char. BH ID is the best choice. Merc ID fits too, maybe; Elliot hasnt any problems to start a little war, if the reward is worth it.

Ah, and about my look on ship designs: I cannot explain, but i disliked it from the first day i saw. Maybe i should buy a manta, upchuck few times....

I will do so. I buy a BH ship. and than i have to see: Either i fell in love or at least become "neutral" to the ship, or i see in 2 or 3 mont, that i use the char only to prevent its deletion. I will see...
