In some areas they are a little too strong. Tons of titans and sabres it is too much. Let them fly stilettos and centurions and would be ok.
And of course Gallic NPCs are more than annoying. They rip an adv.transport shield in a few seconds and then fired torp. No way to play with them.
If NPCs will remain so strong, many people will maintain oorp neutrality with them.

Alright, didnt vote, didnt read all above....

NPC's are fine as they are... but please just remove their ability to disrupt tradelanes... its rather annoying, as they cant really do any significant damage to most trader vessels and seem just to be there to make trade-runs taking longer.

Excuse the double-post...

But I want to state, after it was mentioned on the forums now several times, that Nomad NPC's arent 'too strong'...
In fact, those are still 'farmable much',... and I dont really get why all are complaining bout them.

I used to 'farm' them in my Zoner Gunboat (with -just- 4 turrets) in Delta, Minor and Kappa and -never- got an issue with them...
If you shoot back while thrustering in EK around,... 4 Assassins are easy to kill,... even 6...

Also, the Nomad Gunboat-patrols are a joke, nor?
Kill the Fighters, get behind the Gunboat and -pewpew-; if more Fighters show up while you try to destroy the Gunboat, kill the Fighters and than go on -pewpewing- the Gunboat...

Even in Cruisers or Battlecruisers they are -easy- to kill and without much hassle (done that on a BHG-BC).

Just dont enter Iota, O-99, or O-90 and you will be fine...

Gb cruiser nice...now see a new Order indy or Order| Faction member flyin there first patrol through minor in a new Nepthys with weak weapons and get attacked by 4 Nomad Assasins.....
You cant imagine how hard it can be even to flee from those 4 ships cause they follow you very very long.
The nomads shouldnt be so strong in my opinoin they are good as they are now.

Fruthermore I sgned the first post. The BH Dessis in order missions are a very hard enemy even if you have 2 bombers or a bomber and a Cruiser. Lower there weaponery a bit and it should be ok.

My only problem with NPCs is the ones with Train CDs that make it impossible to run from fights... Notably, Bounty Hunters in Omega-47.

again... i think it was stated already...

some missions ( anti-cap missions ) are not MEANT to be taken solo... they are MEANT to be taken in a team or a group. - say good bye to the old idea of missions being boredom killers for solo persons. - high payoff missions are meant to be taken in a TEAM.

about train CDs... - if i wasn t so lazy, i am sure i could dig up old complaint threads ( at least i remember one from tenacity ) where people complained that our so called "powertraders" could get through systems without ever worrying about hostile NPCs, cause their puny little wasps had no chance to stop them.

a vast majority of players ( i am sure that includes some of those that currently complain about them now ) were very happy with the idea of NPCs having train CDs. - of course, at that time,... the idea was to stop "others" .. and not themselves.... .

thats like saying "i want bombers to own battleships" - and one day you buy a battleship and start complaining about the nasty bombers.

I still think whole point of problem is in ridiculous numbers of NPCs. Most powerful NPC I know are lvl 19 freelancers but hands up who was ganked and killed by NPC freelancers? It isnt posible because they are almosallways lone or in pair... max I saw at same place was 4 and they weren't spawned at same time.

What I want say... one or 2, even whole patrol of strong NPCs inst big problem... it is problem in situation hwne you finaly kill that patrol and bang another one is spawned in few seconds. O you are flying through omega 47 and every 10k sair patrol CD you - it is not chalenging anymore, it is annoying.

I say lets go make NPCs strong but less frequent.
