Wow, he still just anonymously pops up and disappears like the old days eh?
I can give you a dozen RP reasons why my Flock would be seen in House systems.
I do agree that we should leave our caps "hidden" at home, Yoda notwithstanding, (and his welcome in House systems seems to be wearing thin..).
I'll give you one example.. PM me for the eleven others:
MY Fnordettes run a strictly Zoner trade route. Baffin/Canaria/Ames/Baffin. Lo and behold, regardless of the route, they must pass through either Bretonia and Liberty, or Bretonia and Kusari.
And the amazing thing is, no one seems to mind!
Here's another.. Amulets to the Fetful on Freep 2: Gotta hit either Liberty or Rheinland. Neither of them seem too angst-ridden over it either.
As to the comment that everyone visits Liberty because of the "great RP", I hope the poster was alluding to quantity, and not quality. We get in, we get out, from fear our Pineals will turn to mush. I can find quality RP anywhere, with a bit of effort. Liberty = laziness, IMHO.
Until Zoner facilities like Ames, Freeport 1, and Freeport 2 are wiped off the map of Sirius, Zoners need access, plain and simple. If that requires a brief sprint through your beloved Houses, then so be it.
- the BHG would probably be neutral
- zoners would depend on their diplomacy and how it evolves
there is no hint that suggests that the zoners should be hostile per se. - its a rather open situation. - zoners have much to offer that the GRN can hardly deny. - they can also remain neutral to the council and the unlawfuls, cause they d approach gallia the same way they approach the classic houses.
making them hostile takes the main aspect from the zoners - neutrality to all but the greatest enemies of "humanity". - gallia is not an enemy of humanity though - so making them an enemy per se is a decision that should be discussed at least on the dev forum...
unless igiss has made that decision - which i am not aware he did
This whole thing should be about the Junkers not the Zoners.
The Zoners are the guys who explore unknown regions and establish routes of any kind.
I cannot understand why the Junkers moved into Gallia while the Zoners are nearby with two Freeports.
And please don't tell me both Gallic sides want their tech get salvaged and exported.

Um... it's only been explained half a dozen times. The Junkers were originally Gallia's spies.
' Wrote:ok let's face it people. everyone at some point during their day of playing goes to NY. Why, because that is where the best RP is. there is hardly anyone in the edge worlds that you can talk to like in NY. It is always just a hello and sometimes not even that. It is boreing in the edge worlds so people stick to NY.
Zoners should be able to enter the House systems freely, but that doesn't mean people in character have to like them. Or trust them. Or give them cookies. As for Zoner Caps, they don't seem to play the same role as military Caps. They are more independent, one currently appears to be a colony a la battlestar gallactica (first version).
They aren't quite a military force, and yet they do have sufficient force to defend themselves and deter actions against Freeports. The Zoners are not expected by any House or outlaw faction to be interested in the claiming of territory, as their set Zones Of Control are usually only a 5/10k radius from their Freeport, which is a tiny amount of space within a system, so there is no precedent to be wary of the Zoner caps in the sense of invading armadas.
Zoners also aren't immune from piracy, so House criminals who are primarily supplied by junkers/IMG... go for the throat.
