Keeping the fleet uninvolved in Junker affairs directly is as important as it being involved in them. The actions of the fleet on its own cannot adversely effect Junkers as a whole. Sort of like a "Junker law of Robotics";) So here is a basic template:
The Junker Naval Service Three Mandates
1. The JNS may not injure Junker society as a whole or, through inaction, allow Junker society to come to harm.
2. The JNS must obey orders given to it by recognized Junker consensus, except where such orders would conflict with the First Mandate.
3. The JNS must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Mandate.
I can even see having appointed Junker lawyers from varying Junker player factions who rule on political orders if they seem to conflict with the above rules. Sort of a Junker Navy supreme court.
Regarding Harvesters--might be an interesting interaction if they were directly allied. A navy-harvester fleet would be very different as strike forces go.

More than welcome! This will n
ot be a faction that requires "heavy" involvement. Some will want to do the Rp but I think the majority will simply park a member to jump in on specific action--which is more than fine.
I'll handle the RP along with any others who really have a burning desire for it but it will simply be grand to see a Junker fleet in the game.
Tink, this is a fantastic idea. You achieved something with the Junkers I've not seen in a long time. I'm not one for the political game myself, but I've really enjoyed watching the Junkers evolve to where they are now, and I can't think of anyone better to further expand their story.
I have a junker myslef, albeit a slightly off the wall one, and I'll be happy to lend his support to any actions that occur. I'm not sure what use Hillbilly can be to the Junkers, but if you think of anything, let me know.
I operate a Junker Salvage Frigate class ship and would be willing to offer it to the Junker Naval Service fleet, excellent idea Tink. If you approve I will begin sporting the JNS tag as soon as you give the order.
Ok--nice compliments--thanks. All I do is Junkers and I am one of the *cough* older players here so I am not prone to ballistic emotions in game and hopefully will keep it on an even keel.
I am more than happy for anyone wanting to "try it on" to sport the "JNS-" tag on any Junker or Junker Guard character...with this caveat:
That I can ask you not to if you do something ridiculous.
The JNS is all about being in the background--so it isn't a "FEAR OUR JUNKER MIGHTS YOU FOOLS!" rp. The flip side oif that is we may have some big guns mixed in...it will take personal restraint.
No problem with any personality type character--you can be the "Dirty Dozen" or "Top Gun" or "An Officer and a Gentlemen"--but you have to follow ORDERS. Not so much only moving if ""I" say--but following the "Three Mandates" and not acting to represent yourself but instead the movement and Junkers.
I'll be out for a few hours and when I come back will write up the official stuff. PM me on anything you want to bounce off me or post here.

Here's the thing though - it might mess your relationship with Hessians, that. They don't like the Harvesters harvesting Rheinlanders much..
I like the idea overall though, might turn out interesting.
