I'm not entirely sure what the transport's combat efficacy will ultimately pan out as. If it's truly based on the Gull then it might be a little small for the folks up on high to turn into a real beast.
Though my dream is to have my own little Xeno Pirate Transport esq ship.
Quite honestly, these would look great in game in my opinion, and I can't wait to have hordes of them chasing my Barghest across NY, because nothing is as funny as running away from a set of YEEHAWing starfleas.
well, the junker salvager has 6 gunboat turrets (only 5 fire forward/backward, 4 to each side), 3300 cargo, I think 160k armor, transport shields, and it's about the size of an outcast destroyer.
With this thing being based on the gull, It just needs a little less armor/firepower and a little more manuverability to make it balanced. Say... 2000 cargo, 100k armor (same as firefly), and 4 gunboat turrets (four forward/backward, two to each side).
On a slightly related note, it should also have a forward gun with a 5 meter range that activates whenever you ram someone =P
